GastroIntestinal Specialists, A.M.C. is the largest independent gastroenterology group in Northwest Louisiana. Our 15 physicians and 11 mid-level practitioners are dedicated to providing personalized care for patients experiencing problems related to the digestive tract. GastroIntestinal Specialists' experienced, board-certified gastroenterologists are committed to providing the highest quality care and superior outcomes for our patients.
We participate with most local and many national insurance plans. However, it is your responsibility to understand whether your insurance has limits on the doctors you can see or the services you can receive. If you provide complete and accurate information about your insurance, we will submit claims to your insurance carrier and receive payments for services.
Be sure to check with your insurance plan to see if you are required to have a referral from your primary care provider prior to seeing one of our physicians. After-Hours & Emergency Care: If you are experiencing an emergency, dial 911, or head to the nearest emergency room. For all other calls, an on-call physician is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling (318) 631-9121.
