MDI was able to schedule me within a week, outside of my work hours, and they coordinated with my orthopod to ensure that the orders were correct. I want to give a special shout out to Michelle at the Greenfield location. She was friendly, professional, and immediately put me at ease. Diane was the receptionist when I came in. She was immediately very welcoming, professional, and warm. There were two technologists that helped me through the test, both very calming, kind, and professional. They made me at ease.

After my boyfriend driving over a hour and missing work, and not seeing my baby 11 weeks into my pregnancy they rescheduled my appointment without a text call or email. They rescheduled it a half hour earlier than originally scheduled marked me as a now show and turned me away. I literally can't stop crying. I will do everything to avoid this place at all costs.

My doctor sent over an order for an urgent CT scan, and I had to wait for it to be approved by my insurance. I called MD every single day to check on the status. It took over 3 weeks. I called my insurance, they said they had not received anything from MD. So I talked to MD about it and they said they resubmitted it, and my insurance said they STILL had not received anything.
So in calling every day, I finally spoke to someone from MD who informed me that it was 'accidentally' not sent as urgent. I told my doctor and she showed me what the order looked like, it clearly said URGENT at the top in big red letters, not to mention I told them it was urgent each time I called. I don't know how they missed that when they supposedly checked on it each day when I asked.
The second day that I called them one of the ladies in the CT scheduling department started laughing at me. After I had my scan done, I called the CT department to ask them a question. I had a metal zipper on my shirt when I had the scan done that was directly on top of the area of my body that needed to be looked at on the scan. I asked them if metal shows up on the scan and if it would obstruct the view.
The lady started laughing at me and repeated my question in a condescending tone so that her coworker could hear, and they both started laughing at me and said that metal doesn't affect the scan. Even though she admitted it will show up on the scan. I still don't know the answer to that. I'm sick and going through a lot, the last thing I want is to be laughed at.
They could have waited until I wasn't on the phone to laugh at me at least, but no. I should add that I was polite to them each time I called, even when they were laughing at me

When I scheduled my appointment, nobody told me I wouldn't be able to bring my baby. The front desk staff was super nice and understanding and talked to her supervisor for me. The supervisor wouldn't let me talk and explain that I don't have childcare right now with my husband being enlisted. She basically kicked me out of the building and told me to reschedule. Would have been nice to know before I drove over a half hour to get there.

I can't stand this place! I have had multiple terrible experiences here. They can treat you poorly and not respect your time because it's hard to get an X-ray elsewhere in town. It's the perfect example of what is wrong with the healthcare system, a bunch of pointless rules and policies. No one treats you like a human being anymore.

I have an above knee amputation and have to have x-rays of my hips for another condition I have. My doctor referred me to this facility to have this done. I called to make an appointment and ask what the procedure was as to helping me on and off of the x-ray table. To my surprise they don't have the equipment that is needed to transfer a patient with my condition, or something similar.
The exact response the x-ray tech said to me was. It's your responsibility as the patient to move your body yourself on/off the table, that is their policy. WTH, I asked if he was serious, he was. I can't believe a large x-ray facility like this doesn't have a machine to help their disabled patients. So I will be going somewhere else for x-rays. Thanks MD Imaging.

I've only been here twice (both times for an MRI) but both times it's been a great experience. In the situation you would go in there for, you really couldn't ask for anything better. Sure, it takes a while to get an appointment but once you do it's a very quick process. All staff that I have interacted with is very nice.

I needed to get x-rays late on a Friday afternoon. My grandson's pediatrician needed to see what type of damage he had done to his shoulder/arm. My daughter was traveling and she did not give me her insurance card. The staff here were extremely helpful in offering ideas to get the insurance information. We ended up calling his pediatricians office to fax the insurance card info they had on file.
This allowed him to get the x-rays he needed and the get the results to the doctor that evening. Otherwise I would've had to wait the entire weekend without treatment. I cannot recommend MDI Imaging enough! They went above and beyond.

This was the third time that I've visited MD Imaging, all for scans of one sort or another. The building is quite large with a LOT of treatment rooms. They have patients coming in with everything from sprained wrists to brain tumors. At certain times of the day they get really busy which contributes to the cicus-like atmosphere. Checking in with a receptionist seems to take much longer than it should.
Besides that, I have no complaints. The staff is polite and the facilities are modern and clean. This is not the kind of place that you would WANT to go to but if you need their services you could do worse.

Always efficient and timely. The system is geared towards providing quality service at fair prices in a timely fashion. They also provide a variety of services, some require appointments, while some can be taken on a walk in basis, with doctors orders. Full cash pay at time of service usually gives you a 25% discount. The parking spaces are a little tight for pickups, but still negotiable.
