Services
Our staff takes great pride in staying up to date and aware of all the current and ongoing changes in the pediatric field. Dr. William Martin is a graduate of Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his residency in Greenville, SC. He is a 30 year survivor of cancer and was inspired to enter medicine as a result.
Considering what babies go through during the birth process, they hold up amazingly well. Most babies have an initial wake period that lasts about an hour, followed by a period of four to six hours during which they sleep. Before discharge, your infant will have a newborn metabolic screen drawn to check for a variety of potential congenital disorders.
At Beaufort Pediatrics, we strongly believe in routine well child visits throughout infancy and childhood. We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines for administration of childhood immunizations and checkups. Vaccinations are critically important for the health and safety of your baby and for those who could potentially expose your child to dangerous illnesses. They are required for school and day care.

I have had nothing but issues with getting responses from the front desk or providers. For example, called earlier this month to schedule my sons 6 months appointment. And they informed me who was not due for a appointment. So I waited. I had a medical issue today and called to leave a message to my provider, and was informed they could not with out seeing us in office.
Okay cool, please schedule. (After scheduling - with the lady who was very unpleasant on the phone) she also took my message. Holli Wilkerson's nurse then called me back to inform me they would have to see him in office. She was very snarky on the phone, I said I might just need to find a new ped because this is not the first issue I have had. (I have had many with the front desk staff with my daughter) and the nurse said "that's a great idea". I could not be more disappointed in a medical team. Let alone a team who is caring for young children.

I could not imagine taking my children to any other practice. Erin and Roxy are always so kind warm when answering the phone and do what they can to get us in the same day or the soonest open appointment. My son fell victim to an unfortunate accident and Dr. Martin and Holli Wilkins do any and everything to make sure he stays happy, healthy and make sure we get referrals to any specialist they feel he may need.
It's extremely comforting to know that their physicians treat my children as if they were their own. You know you found the right pediatric when your kids get excited to see the doctor! :

Update: Covid has improved their system. The nurses are better too! Love coming here! Dalton and Dr. Martin are the best! She saved the day with my daughter after our favorite left. Very nice to talk to. I gave 4 stars because sometimes I feel like I'm not being acknowledged because I have sat too long past my appt time before actually going in to our appointment. This has happened to me twice out of the 100 visits, so it is a rare occurrence. I still love going and will continue to go to Beaufort Pediatrics.

Today was my first visit to the office in years, but from the moment I walked in I was greeted from the ladies at the desk immediately. I think the nurse that was helping mama is Shay and we had Dr. Hamilton they were beyond awesome. We were laughing Shay even got my daughter to laugh when she got 2 shots in her leg. Everybody absolutely everybody was a pleasure which made me feel so good to know that I have good people looking after my kids. Thank you to everyone that worked in the office today I'm sorry I can't remember everyone's names but the ENTIRE STAFF IS AWESOME! 4/21/2022

This is my favorite place for my children to come and be well cared for. Vanessa always presents a family oriented atmosphere and my family feels right at home. Doctor Martin is kind and gentle with our kids. He always takes such good care of them and gives our family peace of mind. Peace is priceless to have these days. We are so thankful we found you!
Thank you to all the staff for all your hard work and dedication. Also, it's very clean which I need for our family. There are no concerns because we know we are in a sanitized and safe place.

Every year when we try to make a appt the staff has a attitude and are very rude. They try to talk to you like you're stupid. You were not cordial you were very condescending. The docs there are amazing but the staff is horrible. My wife and I both went there as children and unfortunately because of the staff we will no longer be bring our kids here. I would rather drive to Charleston then be made feel like I have to argue with you just to get a appt for my children. Need a whole new staff

Been going there since I was a kid. Was taking my kids there but every single year the ladies behind the desk have attitudes and don't know how to talk to people. They try to treat you like a liar. I will never take my kids there again. A phone conversation doesn't lie no one asked for extended hours, I asked for a 5:00 appointment but that was to much even though the office closes at 7. Your records will show that we had a lot of afternoon appointments before came on time and wasn't seen until hours later.

Apparently Beaufort Pediatrics is not concerned about vaccinating children, mask-wearing, friendly customer service or free speech. Since they erased my previous review I am re-posting about my years-long experience as a mother of four. When my 11 year old went for his yearly scheduled check-up in April, they didn't have half of the vaccines in stock he was scheduled to take. Months later, they still didn't have his vaccines.
When I attempted to bring in my newborn for his first scheduled vaccinations in November they refused to let us in, claiming he wasn't eligible under the same insurance all three of my other kids have had since we first started going there. When I explained the delay from the insurance company in getting in his paperwork they still sent us away. Weeks later at our next scheduled appointment they again said he wasn't eligible and wouldn't see him or administer his vaccines.
When my husband and I offered to pay out of pocket for this, office manager Nicky refused our entrance again, telling us how expensive the vaccine was, that insurance was supposed to pay for it and that they've been "burned in the past." When we questioned this she interrupted us, told us not to argue with her and subsequently told us we were "disengaged" from the practice.
The last time we were seen in October at our son's first appointment no one in the office was wearing a mask, doctors included. We had to ask the doctor to wear a mask before handling our newborn. I'm so happy to have found a great new pediatrician who takes her time to get to know and understand each of my children and their health, unlike at BP. I've been in the Beaufort area for the past year and I have two little boys that I take to see the doctors at Beaufort pediatrics. Dr Holli is their regular doctor but I've also seen other available doctors for last minute sick appointments. The staff had always been helpful and nice to us. And we all love the doctors that we have seen so far. I took a off because the parking is a huge pain at times.
