For over 2 months, I have tried to make appointment after appointment for myself and my daughter. My husband actually had to go in there IN PERSON last month due to the fact that when I call to make both our appointments I am redirected to the front desk. Last month, when we had our appointments (on telehealth) we were promised by both of our doctors, that the staff would call to make our appointments.
Not only did no one call again, but I have been calling everyday, just called AGAIN, asked to speak to the director of outpatient AGAIN and get directed to an answering machine to who even knows. This hospital should be looked at closely. My daughter is a minor, and without her medication would no doubt be inpatient. I have worked too hard to get her where she is today.
No one at this hospital cares at all about anything but a paycheck. We should not have to go out of our way to drive to the hospital to make appointments. The secretary staff at the clinic needs to be fired. This has been an issue for too many years. And we still have no appointments.

This hospital is terrible. Doctor Palmer never returns your call. The social worker Chloe and chris also never call back and give you little information when they do. You have to call a day in advance to make an appointment to see your loved one, but how when I call on Monday and I didn't hear back from them till Thursday. Now that they call they said the patient is going to be released.
When asked what the evaluation and diagnosis is they give me no information. This hospital is one of the worse I have dealt with from the nurses all the way to the doctors. Very disappointed that this is where our loved when went to get treatment.

The improvement here with the operators/front desk/greeters is amazing. After many years of using this facility and always being greeted by a sour staff who always seemed annoyed to answer and then transfer any call, the new team is friendly, upbeat and very helpful. This is always a stressful situation, and that goes miles to calming things down and starting things off right.

Mixed feelings. This is the second time I've been here with a special needs child needing a psych eval. The intake folks and nurse Lou were great. But why, oh why does it take 3-4 hours for a psychiatrist to come see the kid for 15 minutes. They were very slow tonight. He was medically cleared in under 30 minutes. 3 1/2 hours later still waiting. The trip is traumatic for a child!

The testing site was extremely organized and the staff were very friendly. The whole testing process was completed very quickly--I did not have to wait at all. I got my test results back within a few hours, which is the quickest I have ever experienced when it comes to COVID testing. Thanks for keeping our community safe and informed!

I uploaded all documents required in order to schedule my appointment. I never received a QR code, but did schedule. When I showed up they had no record of my appointment and I had to upload everything again. This system was timely and frustrating. The person signing me in was extremely pleasant and obviously had no fault. When I was able to get tested it was swift and easy.

I just read Bonnie's review regarding Covid testing. My experience was similar to her's except that I tried calling and emailing both New Bridge Medical and NavusHealth (which is a lab processing those tests) to find out when I can expect the results so I can go back to work. Every time I was informed that the results are still pending and the test is being processed.
Test was done on Sunday and today on Friday I got this email: "Hello- thank you for the email. Unfortunately, the lab was not able to process your test sample. We apologize for the inconvenience and are open for testing on Sunday from 9a to 11a if you would like to retest. Bergen New Bridge Medical Center 230 East Ridgewood Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652" Do I really want to go back there for retesting? Absolutely NO and if any of you reading this can avoid this place - do it. It is not worth your time and aggravations.

If I could give zero stars I would. In fact it would be negative stars at this point. Please tell me what kind of hospital hangs up on patients family after giving them attitude. Being lied to that social workers are remote, meanwhile they are walking around the building. Holding people against their will. U can only hold a patient for 48 hrs or legally they need to be released unless a judge states otherwise.
This place with keep you for days and threaten and coerce you into signing your rights and life away. Even during a covid outbreak they will keep you detained. Go to any other place if u value your life.

This center was super easy, no lines, and accessible. It is easy to get to. However, getting results is a different matter entirely. It has been 5 days and we have received nothing. If we are positive, well, we have no idea and are spreading freely within our house. What's more, our kids are allowed to go to school as we have no proof to keep them home.
There needs to be a covid exposure-with documentation- for them to have access virtually. We had to just take several absences to be safe. The lack of response from our testing is both unsafe for our family and in direct contradiction to the safety of a community. This is unacceptable. I will not use New Bridge in the future. I have since gotten an appointment with a doctor facility and had results in 30 minutes.

Went for drive-thru COVID testing this morning @ 10am. Was a little apprehensive with all of these negative reviews, but I was in and out in about 30 minutes from when I pulled up. Everyone was very friendly from the guards to medical staff. Could have been slightly quicker if they weren't funneling everyone through one line, but happy I was able to get an appointment with one day's notice.

Well organized COVID testing center, no significant wait, appointment was confirmed with a QR code 10 min before. Friendly volunteers will electronically confirm your identity with your registration and give you options for which test you prefer. I would improve the road signs guiding you towards the testing center. Overall, easy, friendly, convenient! Stay healthy!

What an awful experience! The news was reporting that New Bridge had partnered with Ramapo College for COVID testing. However, the links provided to sign up (pre-registration was required) did not work. I called New Bridge and was given an appt. between 9am - 1pm at their Paramus location. I arrived at 7:25am figuring it would be busy. There were about 20 cars in front of me.
At some point, I was asked if I was a county or hospital employee and advised that "this line is for them only and not open to the public until 9am." i was then told I had to move to the back of the line. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she told me I had to move to the back of the line. I did not ask nor expect to be taken before 9am but felt it was my right to arrive as early as I wanted to.
There was no signage indicating the line was for county/hospital employees only. They very reluctantly had me pull over to the side and promised to "get to me". All told, I was there for just over two hours. I was advised that my results would be posted to the portal within 24 to 48 hours. They are still not there! I called the hospital and was told there is nobody for me to speak with until January 3rd (5 days after the test). I get they are busy, but seems to me, they could be and should be a lot more organized. They're dealing with people's health and well being.

Absolutely awful! Registered for an appointment for COVID testing and received 3 different emails from Bergen Regional confirming the date, time and location. The location given by Bergen Regional/Novus Health was completely wrong and after emailing them explaining that there was nothing at the given location they responded by giving us a completely different location and telling us they wouldn't be there much longer. By the time we arrived the county sheriff informed us that they had packed up. Totally inept and irresponsible! BEWARE!

I made an appointment for Covid testing and went there about 10 minutes before my scheduled time. I waited in my car in the line for over 2 hours after my appointment time. After 2 hours and 15 minutes past my appointment there were still 20 - 30 cars ahead of me and I had to leave. Extremely disappointed in the wait time as a county resident who made an appointment and registered in advance.
Also realized as I waited in line that a nose swab PCR test is $70 out of pocket with no choice for insurance. I will not be going back to this location for Covid testing ever again.
