When you call, you will speak to our receptionist or office manager who will direct you to the appropriate New York House Call Physicians health care provider. New York House Call, Physicians will also need your address and some basic demographic information for our electronic medical record and for scheduling purposes.

Back in 2005, there were only a handful of medical practices and doctors doing house calls in New York City. While completing his residency at Overlook Hospital in 2004, Natan Schleider, M.D. received a call from an established patient, a pleasant 70 year old gentleman who lived across the street from the hospital where Dr. Schleider's family practice called Dr. Schleider. The gentleman went on to say When I was a boy, my doctor used to do house calls. I remember having strep throat and scarlet fever.

Dr. Schleider has been a huge help to me and my journey to becoming a better person. I started this a few months ago when I realized to fix my relationship, I need to work on myself first. He quickly worked with me to understand me as a person and my needs. He has worked around my hectic schedule, of working two jobs overnight. To provide the best care possible. First Class Physician who cares deeply for his patients. Dr. Schleider actually sits down, takes his time and listens, addresses every single question and concern that I have, and always makes me feel comfortable. Dr. Schleider is passionate about his work and you can confirm that with the magnificent professionalism he provides. Immaculate office, and an incredible staff, Richard his office manager is a very nice gentleman. It is difficult find such a great doctor, I highly recommend!

I've been going to Dr Schleider for a few years now. He's always been great. He's super responsive and helpful whenever you reach out to him and he checks up regularly. You can tell he's a good guy and genuinely cares about his patients which sometimes I think is hard to find in fast paced NYC. His office is also a really great environment with drinks and antique decorations. I highly recommend.

By far the best Doctor I have ever visited. Dr Schleider is a genuinely caring individual who has his clients' best interests at heart. He is thorough in his evaluations and assessments and his disposition always puts me at ease. The staff members in the office are also amazing. They are caring as well and explain all paperwork and insurance policies in a concise and easy to understand manner. To sum it up, the best Doctor's office in town!

Great doctor and staff, the thing that sets Dr. Schleider's practice apart from your standard GP is the personalized care and accessibility. If something comes up you can call in or text 24/7 and someone will get back to you usually within an hour with an actual solution for whatever is going on, with other doctors you get a call at the end of the day to set an appointment for later in the week which isnt helpful.
He's also certified to treat multiple conditions so you can see him once rather than having to go to 3 separate doctors - as far as insurance goes I've had different providers over and even when he's been out of network they were able to figure something out, easiest thing is probably to just call and let them deal with your insurance.

I've been seeing Dr Schleider for the last 15 years and even though I no longer live in NYC I still go back just to see him. I work in healthcare and know what the average experience at a doctor's office is like as both a professional and a patient. The experience you get at this practice is far superior in term of both quality medical care and a great caring physician and staff that actually make everything for you the patient easy. This is the way medicine should be practiced!

Best medical staff in the country hands down no question. Dr Scheilder is a world class professional who has and continues to assist whatever ailments afflict me physical or most importantly mental. He is supported by a great staff lead by Richard Collaguazo who is an experienced emergency medical technician and who knows you need to refill your meds before you do. All in all you won't be able to find a better medical office then doctor in the family, they truly mean that you are part of the family.

Dr Schleider is caring and professional. He treated me for anxiety and during the visits he always gave me enough time to explain my problems and clearly told me his suggestions. He explained to me everything I need to know and answered questions. I feel like my issue was all under control. His staff is also good. They charges me 0 since I am in network

This guy is strange. He doesn't take insurance and charges $650 a visit. Gives you a prescription for a few weeks and says to come back for more when he charges another $650 with no insurance. He gives the impression of being very caring and concerned but I grew skeptical, particularly when he gave so much medication it made sick. Check out his website that includes some very odd information, like a picture of himself at age 6, toothless.
