Horrible, like a low class clinic the dr the office the staff the receptionist has a bad attitude if you ask a simple question like where is restroom! I'm busy ok an I'm sick AN don't want to throw up on the floor, on to next subject has been my primary been there a few times just needed somewhere to have as all around primary, to keep all info from specialist, well I call an request him to call me in some nausea medicine or tamiflu, he won't do it unless I get a ride in the mist of throwing up diarrhea just want to sleep AN feel better don't want to be seen or leave just rest, (I just seen him within a month ago AN had blood work ) so I just needed tamiflu he refuse, LIKE I ASKED HIM PLEASE I WILL COME IN TOMORROW IF NOT BETTER CAN YOU CALL IT IN TODAY LET ME REST, HE SAYS NO, WHO WANTS TO GO THROUGH LEAVING WHEN SICK AND A MOM AN JUST WANT TO FEEL BETTER, I WOULD HAVE HAD MY KID GRAB MY SCRIPT FOR ME SO I COULD BE SICK IN PEACE, BUT BY FAR THIS IS NOT THE ONLY REASON JUST THE LAST STRAW!

DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!i first came to Dr. Raul estaris's office due to complications with my skin. New to the Metairie and eager to get healthy again, I took the 1st Doctor I saw. AGAIN, BIG MISTAKE. The receptionists and nurses were very very rude. They wouldn't even talk to me (though I made an appointment through and confirmed this over the phone) until I called my insurance company and confirmed that I made dr Estaris as my primary doctor. Dr. Estaris, in his defense, was very kind and light hearted.
He took a look at the abrasions on my skin FROM AFAR and suggested a blood exam. I went to schedule an apointment and the ladies there are NOT Organized and have 0 people skills. They asked for my previous medical history and they asked me to contact my old doctor and I did( even though my old doctor told me ONLY A DOCTORS OFFICE CAN ASK FOR MEDICAL FILES TO BE TRANSFERED FROM ANOTHER OFFICE OVER THE PHONE) I scheduled for the following week. WELL, I came and upon arrival I asked if they had my medical history because there were some medications I took Pryer to moving that my other Doctor prescribed to me that I NEEDED.
Not only did they lose my paperwork, but they were aggravated with me because they lost it and TOLD me to call my doctor AGAIN because apparently they sent their request for my file. I called my old doctor and they said THEY NEVER EVEN GOT A FAX OR CALL FROM MY NEW DOCTORS OFFICE. These people have a copy of my social and license. I don't trust them with something so vital to my existence.
Then after I got my blood test results DR RAUL DIDNT EVEN TEST ME FOR ANYTHING THAT HAD TO DO WITH MY PROBLEM! A complete waste of time. I went in again and tried to show him I got another abrasion and it got seriously infected (sorry for the tmi) he didn't even look at it didn't prescribe to me any antibiotics. He said he will send a note to the front office to recommend a dermatologist to me.
I took the note called the number they gave me the wrong number. I FOUND the dermatologist name on Google and guess what? DIDNT TAKE MY INSURANCE even though I asked. Just a CRAZY WASTE OF MY TIME.
