We understand many women may be apprehensive or unsure at first about breastfeeding vs. bottle-feeding their baby. It's normal to have many questions related to breastfeeding. Our doctors are here to support you. La Leche League was founded to give information and encouragement, mainly through personal help, to all mothers who want to breastfeed their babies.
As a parent, it is your job to protect your child when riding in a vehicle. Using car seats properly helps keep children safe. But with so many different types of car seats on the market, understanding how to use them correctly can be overwhelming for parents. Visit the AAP Car Seat Safety Information page for guidance on choosing the most appropriate car safety seat for your child.

Nurses and providers are rude, lack bedside manner, have no flexibility and very little understanding. They don't seem to listen to parental concerns and seem quick to want to rx adhd meds for any behavior concerns. Then it's play the Arrive 15 mins early, but expect us to be late; if you're late, no exceptions will be made. It's shameful that one should have to fight to get proper medical care!

My kids see the same Dr. Lemme he is great as well as his assistant, which is the reason why I have not left. But phone staff are horrible, not all but most. I call to try to get same day appointment for sick kids and they are extremely rude, unprofessional, have no empathy whatsoever. On top of that they don't listen to anything you say, guess a baby having a fever is not important. But I'll definitely be changing office. Not because of the doctor but because of Inconsiderate staff.

This place is completely a shame. Some of the doctors there are great. Most of the associates are completely uneducated. They assume a lot and tell parents misinformation. The billing and records department have no idea how HIPAA works, are rude and slow at providing information. Like i said the doctors are great but that's it. They need to train there associates better.

I would definitely NEVER EVER recommend this office. If you can, stay away before your child is misdiagnosed or your given the wrong info. There's a reason why they have such a low rating.

Between my daughters, we have been going to Holyoke Pediatrics (South Hadley Office) for over 18 years. They have always been nothing short of amazing and have only gotten better over the years. Dr. Peggy Chien has been on my "speed dial" through the teenage years and always manages to calm me down when I am concerned. She even calls me after hours on a Friday night, sometimes. Unfortunately, my youngest is 19 and will be aging out soon. I strongly recommend Holyoke Pediatrics and Dr. Chien!

The amount of time you are spent waiting with small children for appointments that are made well in advance is absurd. I agree with another review that says staff is guaranteed to be unprofessional. I had two toddlers for an 11am appointment and went out of the room to inquire at 12:15 and was told by a nurse "you can go to the ER and wait longer if you want."

My daughter has been going here for almost two years. I am a single mom and I work full time. I've never missed an appointment up until recently for her 18 month check up. I had to work and it completely slipped my mind to call and cancel the appointment until later that day. I recieved a letter in the mail stating that I wasted their time and I took away from another patient being seen because I missed the appointment.

They also told me that they could charge me a 25.00 fee for missing the appointment. Basically the letter made me feel like a sh@# parent because I'm a human being and life happens. Mind u I was turned away 3 times because of insurance issues on their end, but I'm wasting their time. Like I don't have enough to deal with already I recieved this letter. Sorry for missing one appointment in two years. Next time I will try not to be such a crappy parent.

I have been going to holyoke pediatrics since I was a kid and have come to know and love the staff because they are so warm and welcoming So much so that I bring my now 4 month old son to them. They are always accommodating since I work full time hours and I've never had trouble getting an appointment when he was sick. Big thanks to the great doctors and nurses for taking such good care of my baby boy!

My son has been going to Holyoke Pediatrics for 8 years. I called last month to make his annual appointment for the end of December. I get a phone call the day before the appointment to let me know that they no longer take his insurance. I even offered to pay out of pocket for his visit and they said they couldn't see him and charge me because I have active insurance.

I'm highly disappointed that they couldn't tell me that the month prior when I made the appointment. Making me loose time of work. I work in the medical field and before we even book the appointment we verify insurance first. I will never go back to Holyoke Pediatrics. Thanks to them I lost a full day of work for nothing. And I won't let friends or family go there either.

Poor customer service skills. My girlfriend had a horrible sinus infection. I was told to stay in the waiting room then while in the treatment room Amy Gardner gave her attitude and was extremely rude because I needed car keys that were in the treatment room. Every time my girlfriend goes to any Dr. I go in the room with her, I live with her so I see signs and symptoms of her condition. Maybe we were treated poorly because it was 445pm. If you don't want to see patients at 445pm CHANGE YOUR HOURS OF SERVICE.

Been coming here for about 17 years and im just about had a enough.if it wasn't because a new Dr was hired Dr MIA chandler amazing Dr such a sweet, great listener and understanding person in general. ive would of been left.ive dealt with so much crap.from rudeness, disrespect, lack of professionalism and even felt racially profiled. triage nurses rude on the phone. ive been left waiting several times for almost 40 minutes.one time my son had a appointment and we showed up late exactly 4 minute and they refuse to give my son medical care.they don't keep up with referrals lab work or call backs. i think it time to look else where. im just not happy.they need Dr. who really care for there patients and have the best interest at heart.
