Though medical practice has changed considerably throughout the years, I continue to strive to achieve a balance of traditional and current philosophies when caring for my patients. The same challenges - whether it be infertility, high-risk pregnancy, surgery or caring for the elderly - are as rewarding today as they were at the beginning of my career.

From my first visit at 5 weeks pregnant to delivery, doctors in this office were more than professional and efficient. Staff is great. Doctor George Ajjan was my first obgyn ever! I'm 30 years old and he made me feel respected whenever I had a visit with him plus he delivered my baby I couldn't be happier that it was him! Words will never be enough to be thankful to this group!

Went to this practice for my first pregnancy and so glad I did. The doctors and nurses are super informative and make you feel comfortable when asking questions. I was alway worried due to it being my first pregnancy but the staff was always there to answer all my questions. I'd be happy to return for my routine care and future care.

Been going here for as long as I can remember; unfortunately am now thinking of switching doctors/location due to their lack of care. No one returns your phone calls, they make you wait in the exam room for about an hour till the doctor finally decides to come in, they give misinformation. It's unfortunate because I like only one of the doctors there; Dr. Shah, but she is never available. My question is what happens if there is an emergency? Good luck.

Everyone is so lovely here. I was going to an obgyn in wyckoff and actually felt like a burden every time I had to call if I had a medical issue. (I would actually try not to call because that's how nasty the front desk staff were on the phone) Dr. Lee and the entire staff here made me feel so welcomed. I had an issue that I had been prescribed the wrong meds by my previous obgyn office and they weren't able to fit me in for an appointment anytime in the near future.
I was so nervous to even attempt to call and make an appointment here because of how my previous clinic treated me that I was just going to try and take the meds they gave me. I am so happy I called. They were so understanding and they were able to fit me in sooner even though they didn't have to because I wasn't a patient. Thank you guys

I started seeing Dr. Lee since last year, she was wonderful, answered all my questions. It was more the nurse. For my yearly I just had a few concerns and the nurse answered my question but answered it as if I asked a feebleminded question. I came yesterday for a few concerns and she did it again. I told her if I should just go home and not waste my time since she answered my questions and my concerns were not a big deal in which she took back her answer.
I think she just steps in to boundaries she shouldn't, I'm here to see the doctor, if you're here to obtain my chief complaints please don't be a doctor and answer it. She makes my whole experience uncomfortable, twice.

I went here for my second pregnancy. The only problem I had was with a rude nurse who acts like a boss and shows a very bad attitude. I had gone through a lot of stress every time I visited the office. My appointments were rescheduled to her own convinience for some and or the other reason and she informs me a day before. Until one day when I complained and said I didn't want to see her anymore, things were pretty good. Wish they had good staffs to continue to see the doctors here they are really good.

Today was my first visit with Dr. Nicole Palomar. The office staff greeted me warmly when I arrived. I was 30 minutes early for my appointment so I could fill out the required paperwork. I was called in to see the nurse before my 11:00 appointment which is nice. Dana, the nurse is delightful, personable and knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable while she was taking my stats.
I had read very good reviews about the office and Dr. Palomar. Dr. Palomar is warm and welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. She immediately put me at ease while she was going through the exam. It is difficult going to a new doctor but especially a gynecologist. I give the office staff, Dana and Dr. Palomar five stars!

This review is primarily about the way i was treated in the rutherford location. I have been Dr ajjans patient in teaneck for 17 years. No problem. I made an appt for today in rutherford. The receptionist was nice. I waited 15 min and was called into a room. Dont know if the woman was a nurse or assistant. She was so condescending. She said you havent been here in 2 years like i did something wrong.
She asked why i wanted to see the Dr. I told her i had rear bleeding.constant urinating.and a blood test stating i had a kidney problem. I asked if they could do a urine test before exam. She looked at me and told me to see a urologist or a nephrologist not dr ajjan. It isnt her job to tell me i cant see a dr i have seen for many years. I asked her how long she worked there.
She said 2 years. With annoyance and rudeness on her part i wasnt going to beg to see the dr. I left. If this is the way womens health has become i no longer want to be their patient. I really thought the dr would have called to hear my side. Guess they dont care about patients.

Patient since 2015 and always a great experience - through 2 pregnancies and childbirths and beyond. I love that they are affiliated with Holy Name and it was great to be admitted during labor and have the babies delivered by people ive gotten to know and trust! highly recommend - one of the best decisions ive ever made

HORRIBLE experience. I started going to this office last year and noticed the first appointment that my concerns about a situation I was going through seemed to be brushed off like there was nothing to be concerned about.mind you this is with no test being done. A year goes by and I still am going through issues so I decided to make another appointment and this time I make it so I get looked at. Dr. Shah seemed to again brush my concerns away and said I was fine but sent me to get an ultrasound.
The tech at the ultrasound said I could call tomorrow to Dr. Shah and get my results. Needless to say I've been calling for a week straight leaving messages and had only spoken to an answering machine lady. ONCE. Today was my last straw I called and the staff member that answered at the front desk was extremely rude and tried to go back and forth with me on how many times they have called.which has only been once because I have kept a log and was at work at the time when they did call. I have yet to speak to Dr. Shah about my results and a concern that I had and am never going to this place again. SO UNPROFRSSIONAL.

Horrible horrible place. The staff is rude and not well trained. They never follow up or call you back. I went in for a routine check up. I paid for the visit with my debit card. The lady at the front desk told me that the lab fee was included in the total I paid that day. A few weeks later I received a bill from Quest stating that I owed them money.
Soon after, I reached out to Women's Health Care Group several times about this. I was told the one lady that handles things like this was out and would call me back. She never did. Time went by and the bill was in collections. I reached out again. After a lot of back and forth, without any apologies, I was told that they were not responsible for the bill, so I had to pay it. The staff id rude, unreliable and not well trained. It's a sloppy practice and I will never go back. I suggest to go somewhere else, especially if you're pregnant.

I've been a patient for four years but have ultimately decided to go elsewhere. I'm giving one star for Dr. Shah, as she is smart, kind, and thoughtful in treating and diagnosing. However, as other reviewers have mentioned, the staff is absolutely terrible and the reason I am leaving. In four years, I've been incorrectly billed three times, received the wrong test results twice, and have always had to follow-up multiple times for test results or prescription renewals. Women's healthcare is too important to suffer through such incredible incompetence. Would strongly recommend going elsewhere.

I came here after seeing two previous gyno's while pregnant - the first was pretty rude and the second was amazing but she doesn't deliver babies anymore. She recommended WHCG as she worked there before opening her own practice. Everyone there has always been extremely nice and helpful and I was completely confident in their abilities - even though I'm OCD and it was my first pregnancy and I needed a C-section. That's saying a lot!
I gave birth (well technically I was cut open but whatever) at Holy Name Hospital, which I also recommend. Maybe those who had negative experiences weren't there for prenatal, I don't know. I certainly recommend WHCG though, especially Dr. Shah :)

A little history - this place has been around so long that one of the doctors here, delivered me! So my mom and I have been going here for years. They staff has always been - eh. They aren't very friendly, always seem annoyed and always take long to get back to you. Now as a small business owner I get how that can happen. But when it comes to URGENT help or perscriptions that need renewing, I kind of expect a call back soon. I've always delt with it beacuse I figured "whatever", but I'm over it at this point.
I call up about a couple of weeks ago after the pharmacy wouldn't refill my perscription and said after many calls - my doctor's office has not called them back. I get a "night service" that answers and in the middle of me explaining they cut me off and say they are going to leave a message and ask me prompts of questions. She was rude, and made me feel like I was ruining her night by calling.
When we get to the part for the pharmacy's phone number I mention I don't have it. This woman litterarly thought I was an idiot, she goes "can you ask the person at the desk?" in quite an annoyed tone. That's when I got nasty myself and said "well, I pulled AWAY through the drive-thru after they said they couldn't refill it" then she goes "well I don't know what to say", so I say I'll google it on my phone. which didn't work because I was on the phone.
At this point now were both annoyed. I finally say I'll call back at a later date. She realizes I'm mad and then I proceed to say I've been going there for 10 years, they probably have my pharmacy on file but I'll call back later. That's when she goes "Alright, in that case then, I have the message for you and I'll make sur ethey get it" - I hung up right after.
After speaking to my one friend about a place she goes, it's much easier for me to get to, much easier to get an appointment and much friendlier staff. I've already called to switch over ASAP.

Very nice OB/GYN location. Tried here recently via a recommendation from my amazing pediatrician (to be fair, he recommended MANY OBGYNs in my area, but they were one of the few who took Aetna. The nurses are serious about their jobs (and don't dick around), the doctors are nice and knowledgeable. The amount of time you wait varies. If you're going as an OB patient, there are special times when they are only seeing OB patients and you are "seen" faster.
I haven't been here during a non-OB time, but my wait time has varied between a few minutes and half an hour. The doctors are nice and seem very knowledgeable. Special shout out to Dr. James for having this awesome energy/vibe. I've only seen her once, but I plan to try and schedule all my appointments with her from now on! They also have awesome free samples and displays from the emfamil/similac vendors, free bottles, free coupons, etc. Oh, and they accept Aetna, which a lot of places are currently not.
