No MDs at this location. Front office staff is rude. Appointments are a month out if not more. Location looks so run down and very unclean (stain on walls, trash outside). Do yourself a favor. choose a different provider.

I don't know why reviews say poor cust svc. Every time I call they are very helpful. I got Ingrid today and she was nothing but nice.

Poor customer service. I definitely was not satisfied. I moved to the area and wanted to set up a doctors appointment for my daughter I was assigned by and was on hold for 40 minutes waiting to get through. When i finally spoke with someone, I had to wait on hold again for another 15 minutes! Horrible phone service

I had a good experience here staff was very helpful understanding and welcoming. Doctor took the time to know hear problem. Took the the time to help me when other doctors would just not even give me the time listen. Thank you Doctor Ricardo Vega.

Somebody doesn't feel like answering the phone today. Been calling for the last ten minutes and they just hang up on you! Really?

Although the place looks shady/run-down from the outside, it's actually pretty clean and spacious from the inside. I would definitely recommend coming here. Brandy Ramirez and Melissa Galvez were super helpful and attentive to my needs. They answered all my questions, made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, and educated me about my concerns without being condescending. Will definitely be returning to them.

I've been a patient of Juan Montes since 2014 and I can honestly say I've never had a problem with him or any of his staff. I've recently been seen by Marlene Chavez and she's made my visits very welcoming! I love these 2 Doctors! I'd highly recommend! I forgot to mention at one point we lost our insurance and Dr. Montes told my husband to still come in for his appt. and he waived the fee and still treated him! Who does that? Very caring, well mannered, professional Doctor who cares for his patients. Thank you for all your years of dedication

Had my 3 month follow up and the wait was fast. The doctor Melissa Galvez did great, made me feel comfortable. And the nurse Brandi took my blood and it was painless and fast on too of her having great people skills. Location close to my house and very relaxed.

I definitely do not recommend this place. The front staff is rude. Dr. Montes is a great doctor but the staff at this facility is horrible. I did not like the way they attended me or my baby. I gave them 3 opportunities and I just couldn't take it anymore. I'm still seeing the same doctor but at the Whittier location. It's more of a drive for me but the staff is nice.

When you call them hold wait times can be long. Depending on who you speak too on the phone they can be rude when you call. I called to ask if they offered COVID vaccines awhile back and the person seemed angry I even asked. Today I phoned to asked if some lab orders might be emailed to me rather than snail mailed? The person wasn't friendly about my inquiry.

At the end of the call I said ok, thank you, and I was abruptly hung up on. No have a nice day or anything else we can help you with? Another problem I believe is labs are treated here. If a lab is within a normal range there is no further need for further examination, according to many providers here. Labs can be within range and can be high normal or low normal.

This can be misleading because there generally is an optimal range for most people when it comes to lab results. The result can be within range but not an optimal level for that person. Both labs and symptoms need to be looked at. I don't think they are purposely mistreating patients. I don't think they have the time to spend on each patient. I'm thinking of just paying out of pocket and going somewhere else.

If I could I would gove 0 stars the staff is unprofessional. They don't give two ficks about what is wrong with you. they are all there just for the paycheck and not for the people. They will file authorizations a week to two weeks after seeing the dr. When u call to find out they get mad and just give you attitude as well as leave you on hold just to be spitfull. Don't go here I will be changing dr.s today and filling a grievance with the ins. Company about the medical office and staff.

I must say when I first saw this place I was skeptical about it but once inside it was great. I've never had to wait long for any of my appointments! They r friendly and easy to communicate with and I liove the appointment reminders via text! This place is like a diamond in the rough and my Dr Melissa Galvez is amazing! She is not only very sweet she is really good at explaining medical procedures and medical diagnosis! Def recommend her she def goes above and beyond. She is better than any other doctor I have had I use to have a ppo with Kaiser and she is way better than any of those private doctors I am so lucky to have her

He is a very good doctor but customer service is terrible I've called all week to try to make an appointment phone just rings and rings and rings, I could never get a hold of anyone, The answering machine says to leave a voicemail and they will call you back, five days later still no phone call! looks like I'll be changing my daughters doctor really sad about this but we have to do what we have to do!

Very good experience, better than my previous doctor! Everyone is so fantastic. The receptionists in the front make me feel so comfortable, they both are so sweet! They're always so cheerful. Ms. Galvez is such an amazing provider answers all of my questions, never rushes me and is attentive. Would recommend this place.

We had a great experience for first timers. The staff was really nice and Melissa was attentive and took time to explain my dad's condition. I would recommend this place.

Awesome staff at this location! My whole family comes here for care and we are always looked after. The staff is super friendly and very informative. I really like how there are many doctors and nurse practitioners that you can see; so if a doctor is booked you have the option of seeing someone else. Also, they don't accept walk ins but they have an awesome clinic called Be Well it's like an urgent care.

At the Be Well clinic they have all your info since it's part of the Montes Medical Group. All in all this is an awesome location to come here in Norwalk and like I mentioned before their system works way better than many other doctor offices.

I have known Dr. Alejandro Montes for a period of 10 years now. My daughter was a patient of his and now my son is as well. I have always like the service Dr. Montes provide, the details he provides in each visit, however, it has been with time now that him and his staff are very disrespectful towards their patient's time. It is very upsetting that as patients, we are expected to keep and arrive to an appointment on time, however, as providers, they do not hold the same respect to us by keeping up with those appointment times.

It has been time after time now that my son's appointment is delayed, drastically. I can understand a delay of 10, 15, 20 minutes but to have to wait 1 HOUR (without exaggeration) is just absurd, ridiculous and disrespectful. The worse part of all is that even after formal complaints, nothing is done about it! Nor the medical staff, office staff or Dr. Montes himself care to even improve their service. No patient and/or parent should have to deal with this. There are WAY better doctors and offices out there. I do not plan to ever return to any of his offices!

Dr Juan Z. Montes has an excellent bedside manner. I feel that he listens to me, takes time to answer my questions and works with me on my wellness plan. I am very pleased with him as my primary provider.

The Montes Medical Group staff is friendly, professional and welcoming. The location is very clean and nice inside. The wait times are very quick during productive schedules, which I am very grateful without leaving anything out. The doctor's take their time to listen and are very thorough. I feel the Montes Medical Group is better than other offices I've visited with lots of people waiting and long in the room wait times. Less wait and awesome customer service. The doctors there are great. But you can't ever get an appointment short notice and they don't leave time open for walk ins. So unless you can see the future and know a week in advance that your kid will be sick you're pretty much fucked.

I gave 1 star because I couldn't give negative stars. I can write a novel but basically I DON'T recommend this place at all. I never met Dr Montes nor Dr Tran in the 3 plus years with them. I would go to the Norwalk office although I live in Whittier due to their lack of organization, be ready to spend hours waiting to be seen. I would specifically ask for Nichelle Nurse Practitioner, she is great. Dr Eastman (Norwalk office) treats patients and her staff the same, HORRIBLE!

I was 1 minute late so couldn't be seen. I had surgery 3 weeks prior and took a Uber. I am now in the process to find a doctor that actually cares what she/he about patients and treats staff professionally. I did try to make a appointment prior to surgery as I had a very high fever and didn't know what was happening. Went to ER and had a emergency surgery. Negative 5 stars for Montes Medical Group

I've read the previous reviews, and I have never encountered a problem when I give the office a call. The ladies at the front desk are super nice and always answer all the questions I ask. Dr Nichelle is amazing, she's super understanding and listens to everything I have to say. She always makes me feel super comfortable during my visits. And Vanessa the MEdical assistant is amazing as well! She's very patient and understanding as well. They both make my visits there fast & very efficient

One of the worst doctors office I have been to. Given the fact that it's a "medical" group it lacks a lot. They lack customer service. They do not prioritize patients. The front desk staff is very friendly however, once you step into the back everyone is in a bad mood and rude. The medical assistants look like they are forced to work there. The PA rushed through our exam and at the end didn't ask if we had questions, we had to tell her that we had questions as she was walking out the door.

The MA told us one thing she noticed that needed medical attention and when we mentioned it to the PA she went back to confront the MA and came back to basically make it seem like we were lying. A lot of tension between the staff and very unprofessional. For over a year we have requested that they obtain medical records from another facility and till this day they have failed to do so.

Now for sanitation, when entering the office it looked like it hasn't been cleaned. It looked dusty. The front of the office did not look like an medical office. The place needed a lot off repairs. Once in the room we noticed that the pillow case hasn't been changed and we were the first patients of the morning. The room was very small and also needed repairs.

When seen by our provider they did NOT wash their hands or use hand sanitizer before and after our visit. Unfortunately because of our medical group we have to stick to this PCP. It's sad to see that they are partners with PIH because they do not compare at all in any way.

I don't understand these bad reviews, I have never had a problem getting my calls through. They are always friendly. The triage line is a great resource. Nichelle was able to listen to my concerns and symptoms and I felt so much better by the end of the call. The providers are very thorough, I particularly wait for Amy, PA. She's great!

Literally the worst medical care I've ever been subjected to! In 3 years I've never even met the actual doctor. They keep me waiting for HOURS and one or two times after waiting for hours the med assistant didn't even show up. I was informed I'd have to reschedule after waiting for TWO HOURS at the office! If you are 1 minute past the grace period hey will not be flexible and see you despite how far you've traveled and t raffia beyond your control. But I've litrtall NEVER MET THE DOCTOR. that can't be legal!

I chose this centre for a a new PCP. As few other reviews, you wait one hour or more despite an clear appointment. You need at least this time to fill a 15 pages of docs about you that they are even not going to read. The doctor does not listen to you and if you know what you need or wish a specific exam (MRI or CT Scan) to figure out immediately what you think you have, he simply refuse it with no justification. just to demonstrate you that he knows better what you need when he does not know you.

Of course you have to pay for what he want you to pass. If you accept (as i did), you will wait for the exam more than 1 month to get an appointment that they never took for you when they did say they will. at then, i call that liars and not professionals. Conclusion: you are easy money, a stupid customer they can took your money and your insurances money => abusing about a bad healthcare system. you are obviously not a suffering patient.

Do not go there. As a reply, this physician told me, if i have a crisis of pain, i just need to go to ER. obviously, it is not him who is suffering and he doesn't care. And does not care about the cost neither. I suggest do not consider this place.

I have to admit I like the Dr. and his feedback and services which is why I have both of my Boys going to him. HOWEVER, it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to make an appointment. When I call I am always put on hold and no one ever answers, Or when I leave a message and I never get a call back. when I attend my sons appointments I always have to wait an hour or sometimes more to actually have my kids seeing. again Dr. Montes is awesome with his patient's but I really wish they would do something about the phone situation and having to wait an hour even though you schedule your appointments.

I been a patient here for the past 2 years. The staff's professionalism mixed with the office cleanliness and Mr. Vegas thoroughness makes me really love this place! The clinic moved back in march and I am really liking the new location. It's now located on 4545 E. 3rd st, which is right across from the King Taco. I recommend this place to EVERYONE especially if you need help with applying for Medi-Cal or Covered CA they have insurance coordinators on site.

Last Friday 12/11 was my first visit here and so far so good. The registration was fast and the wait was short. The staff was very friendly and the doctor I saw was Ricardo Vega who is a physician assistant. Dr. Vega was kind and he took the time to hear me out and answered all my questions. I like the fact the staff including the doctors speak Spanish because I at times understand things better in Spanish and finding doctors that are bilingual is kind of hard.
