I'm sure this review doesn't matter, but the nurse practitioner Amanda and Dr. Resyk (sp?) have no interest in healing anyone. It's all about the colonoscopy, and bullying people into getting one, no matter what the patient thinks. Even after going in person to cancel an appointment, I get a text message asking me to confirm the appointment I already cancelled.

Never got a call about a different test I took either to let me know they had my results. Health care in general needs a big overhaul, but I would stay away from this office for sure.

Dr Richardson is the best! Bed side manner is GREAT! He listens and cares. His NPs or nurses not sure are also great. Been going here since 2016 no problems

I will never go back here. Dr. Garretson was very dismissive, demeaning, arrogant and had the worst bedside manners I have ever experienced. I'm a registered nurse and was absolutely disgusted with him as a professional.

Do not go here. I was late because of this office's negligence, there system provided me with the address via text. I went to the address from the text. when I arrived I was later told that I was at the wrong office. so I went to the correct office arrived about 6 minutes late. and was told that I wasn't able to be seen the doctor refused to see me and that I'd have to reschedule. I told them that wasn't my issue. and they need to fix they system. so I'll go some where else. and the office is not professional

Dr. Shah and Dr. Richardson are very good, most of the PAs are young and slightly airhead like except Carson who is plain rude. The front desk is incompetent. You can't call without holding for 20 minutes before speaking to someone at the front desk. Good Lord this place is a hot mess.

I was referred to them after experiencing difficulties following surgery which required temporary opioid use. I was first seen by a nurse practitioner. Instead of asking me what my problem was, her first words were, "When was your last colonoscopy?" When the Doctor came in, his first words were, "When was your last colonoscopy?" These people don't seem to care about your specific problem.

They give the impression of being a colonoscopy factory, just so they can bill your insurance company. I have no problem with colonoscopies. I just wish they showed even a little concern for my immediate problem, before moving on to the procedure.

Old, dirty, rundown. Horrible doctors. Apparently, their goal is leaving and causing patients great pain if they go to the ER. You should definitely question their diagnosis as I have had a few and still suffer. Dr. Garetson is the absolute worst Doctor there with no bedside manner at all, in my opinion. I have seen 3 doctors there. Well, really you mostly deal with the PA's.

It is a shame that they are the only Gastroenterologists in Rock Hill. Oh well, I can travel. I highly recommend my surgeon, Dr. Malhotra in Chester. Though a surgeon, he is by far a way better GI doctor; compassionate, great staff and bedside manner, he gives you accurate diagnoses and best yet, he does not leave his patients in pain when they are in the ER in excruciating pain. I strongly suggest listening to the 1 and 2 star reviews. Go at your own risk!

Don't rely on GPS'ing "Digestive Disease Associates". It'll take you to the Endoscopy center down the road. Because of this I ended up being 5 minutes before my appointment and had to reschedule. Another issue is the lack of information before an appointment. They have no way to fill out paperwork online which would have prevented this issue. The systems and the way they handle things here inadequated. Literally THREE other people had the same issue as me when walking in. I hardly ever give reviews, but I'm not trusting them to look into my issue. Wouldn't advise.

Dr. Pennington is kind and professional. He explains things so well, and makes me feel comfortable and relaxed during my colonoscopy. My husband had just as good review of Dr. Richardson. Staff have been very kind and professional.
