We strongly recommend that all our patients 5 and over get this vaccine as soon as possible. We are seeing all well visits in-person. If possible, we still ask that only ONE parent and NO siblings accompany the patient in order to prevent additional exposures. We continue to ask that all children 2 years or older and all accompanying adults wear masks at all times in the office.
If your child is due for their check up, please call the office to make an appointment or schedule online. All of our offices are welcoming in-person Sick Visits, with same-day availability.

Services
Helping parents raise healthy, thriving children is a privilege. My practice philosophy is to support all-around health and wellness by providing personalized, compassionate, up-to-date guidance to families. As a pediatrician, I see myself as a partner with parents to help their children achieve and maintain good health.
Primary Pediatrics is a pediatric medical group practice in Maryland with three convenient locations in Laurel, Bowie, and Silver Spring; we are affiliated with Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring. Our skilled team of 10 Pediatricians and 1 Nurse Practitioner delivers exceptional comprehensive primary care for infants, children, and adolescents.
To make sure there are no delays in care during your first visit experience, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to ensure your registration is complete before meeting with your new provider. In an effort to respect the time of all of patients, our staff strives to stay on schedule so that other patients do not have to wait.
Note: You should always check with your Privia Medical Group provider to verify plan and product coverage as this is not an exhaustive list, and plans change frequently. We encourage patients to keep a credit card on file to make the checkout process easier, faster, and more efficient. You will no longer receive statements from us, but you will continue to receive your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance carrier once your claim has been processed, detailing the charges and payments made on your behalf.

You will not regret bringing you child here. You're always greeted by their lovely front desk staff. Every provider is equipped with empathy and compassion for what they do. You'll leave the office informed and happy! They don't rush when it's your turn either and it's worth every bit of the wait! Thanks Primary Pediatrics for all that you do!

Very very poor customer service. The front desk people don't have any I deal about customer care, My appointment was 11:10, I told to sit and called by 12:10, no one cares about kids on pain or you have appointment or not. I personally like Dr Anderson, that's why my kids stick with this place. Specially the silver spring branch office is horrible. I don't recommend this place for anyone.

I have been taking my children to this practice practically since birth. Love, love the doctors, especially Dr. Inas Anderson. However, communication while making appts or during appointments with the front desk are terrible. Erroneous information was shared which made the virtual visit pretty much worthless. Will have to now reschedule another visit for my kids in-person even though that is what I had asked for in the first place.

My kids have been going to these pediatrics last 8 years and we love all the doctors especially DR. Mimi, DR. Anderson, DR Bland, they are very sweet and carry, very friendly and most importantly they take their time as much as possible to connect with parents and with our children. We moved out from SS but still keep going back to this location.

If I could give them 0 stars I would! I am going to keep this short & simple. If you love your children and require excellent medical care this is NOT the office! The staff is uncaring, rude and extremely inefficient. Dr Anderson is wonderful but her staff is also a reflection of her and unfortunately we will not be bringing our preemie back there.
She contracted RSV because they have not done there job or followed through with getting her Synagis injection which is crucial for a premature infant. This is a life threatening illness for our baby and we are currently seeking legal advice from an attorney regarding this practice! DO NOT take your kids here. they are the least bit concerned for the well being of the child, it's a puppy mill run practice

We love Primary Pediatrics. Been taking my son to Silver Spring office since he was 6-7. He's now 19 and still appreciates the care he gets as an older teen, transitioning into young adult. The nurses and Dr. Bland have always treated him warmly, and I can always reach them by telephone with follow-up questions, or for paperwork within reasonable timeframe.
Not hard to get quick appts scheduled if you're flexible, and then the appts are not rushed! For this reason, I don't mind the wait. Just prepare your child. (All docs have a wait.) The SS location has changed only once during our 12+ years, to accommodate the huge growth in the practice. I appreciate that they stayed close to previous office location, upgraded the interior and gained much more office space and parking.
The appts go much more smoothly now. Bright and comfortable waiting areas. Haven't noticed a lot of staff turnover, which is nice for him to see familiar faces. (I just wish they could also upgrade the Laurel location to a nicer/newer bldg. Location was convenient, same great doctors, but just a crowded space. We live between the two offices.)

Our first visit was great, especially the Dr. Anlage is very friendly and welcoming. However, the stuff at the front desk was very unprofessional. We had to leave the office before seeing a Dr. on our second visit. I personally do not recommend this place if you care about how people treat you when you just walk in. If you chose to do so. expect to take it what ever he flame you are going to receive.
