Be very careful when booking an appointment. They do not tell you who you are scheduled with, meaning if it is with the Physician or a Physician Assistant (PA). I had an appointment with a PA who looked at a bump on my skin. Without conducting a biopsy or any form of testing, she confidently told me it was a boil and offered to lance it. My instinct told me she was incorrect.

I visited another practice, where the physician conducted a biopsy. The bump turned out to be a form of skin cancer and if she lanced it, it would have continued to grow and would not have know it was cancerous. I would NOT recommend this practice to anyone.

Dr. Calendar always takes care of my dermatology needs; however, she wasn't available today to see me. I was asked if I would be willing to see Dr. Young instead. I had reservations because I love the way Dr. Calendar takes care of me. her gentle, caring, professional, and proficient medical manner or style, if you will. However, I said yes to allowing Dr. Young to take care of me today. she was friendly, caring and gently, very professional as well! Great experience with Dr. Young! Thank you!

This was my first visit to the cosmetic center of Dr Callender's practice and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. The facility was beautiful and welcoming and the service impeccable, even before I met with Dr. Callender. Once I met with The doctor she was very friendly and professional and was interested in what I had to say. she asked me what my goals were for my face, conducted a evaluation and made recommendations that made me excited that working with her I will look my best self.

I truly felt like this was a partnership in beautification journey. We did a couple of procedures and wow, I saw immediate results. She also recommended skin care products for my daily use at home to maintain the results achieved from the office visits. She didn't try to to sell me the most expensive products but just the right products to achieve my goals. I will be definitely be returning on a recurring basis. I'm looking forward to achieving gorgeous sin with Dr. Callender.

I've been coming to the Callender Dermatology & Cosmetic Center for over 20 years and every time I am in need of services they are impeccably expeditious with catering to get me an appointment quickly. And that is such a rewarding feeling not to mention my peace of mind for resolution with whatever I've needed. Everyone is professionally polite and courtesy. They exude a Family/Community vibe that's unmatched and so valued. Thus a Five Star rating is continually merited!

Dr. Callender and Young are really good doctors but the administrative staff is a different story. They hardly ever return calls and then screening calls when asked to speak to a doctor that I have been seeing for over 5 years about life changing situation. I called multiple times and left messages for 6 months and never got a return call. Left contact details asking to speak to the doctor about my situation that significantly affected my skin, still no response. Finally found another dermatologist who is really good as the doctors and responsive staff.

Very courteous. On time for virtual appointment. Very pleasant. Staff was thorough in obtaining information. The doctor acknowledge our last meeting.

Dr. Callender and her staff are awesome. Every appointment is met with a friendly staff member. My in office appointment was done without a wait time.

While the doctors are great watch your statements. They will over bill you and one minute agree they over billed (per EOB) and then the next minute claim that you owe them. You will never get a anything in writing. If they are over billing one customer how many more are they over billing - looks like fraud to me.

Drs Young and Callendar have always been very knowledgeable, and friendly and have always offered helpful solutions. That's why I keep coming back. The only problem is making an appointment- you are often on hold for over 20 minutes and the recording played about your wait time is inaccurate.

I have been going to Callender Dermatology and Cosmetic Center for over five years. Drs. Callender and Young have both seen me and are both very attentive to my skincare needs. I have recommended them to friends and family so they can have the same success that I have had.

This by far is the worst experience ever. Waited over an hour for a telehealth appointment because their staff failed to check insurance information and they never sent my prescriptions to my preferred pharmacy. Chased them around for a week and a half before giving up. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. Taking copays and payment for mediocre medical care with no follow up. Will never go back

Highly unprofessional; Telehealth appointments should not be 20+ minutes behind schedule without some notification. The fact I had to call the office after sitting in the virtual waiting room for 30 minutes to then be transferred to a receptionist who lacks customer service and adherence to the policies stated by the office is unacceptable. Collect the copay before the service is standard, but to have patients waiting without reason is ridiculous- if this were the other way around I would be paying a $50 cancellation/no show fee. No worries, will never get my business again. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

My situation is way to long to type, however, if you want to feel valued as a client/customer this place may not be for you. I agree with another review in that the CFO of this company is very rude and condescending! Part of being a good professional is not only to provide services for the company, but also to service the customer. Communication and good customer service skills is key to the success of many companies.

I will not support a business where I am not valued as a patient/customer. Far to often people in customer service forget how to service there customers. I also agree with another review that this company should read the reviews made about them. There is always room for improvement, regardless of how successful you are. Humility is very important! Also, they have extremely long phone wait times. Additionally, each time my husband or I left a message we did not get a call back.

The front desk staff. if things don't go as planned or "their way". That "nice nasty" shows real fast. Me and my family will not return to this practice. If I could give this business no stars I would!

I have been going to this dermatologist and cosmetic center for almost 2 years. I have had a positive experience even during COVID. My favorite is Angela. She is professional and takes her time with me. I have noticed an improvement in my skin. It has been a slow progression, but it is healthier because I added maintenance monthly. They offer a variety of services and have expertise in their field.

Against my better judgment I decided to visit this office for injections that I've received a million times at numerous other offices. Never have I heard that I have a deductible to the tune of 120 dollars. This is something you should mention to your patients before hand after you have them schedule a virtual appointment (waste of copay) since I knew that I would need to come in for my appointment.

Then I get there and the receptionist checking me in apparently was having a bad day, there was no greeting just asking for money. Money I wasnt prepared to pay since I've never paid it before seeing a dermatologist for the exact same procedure. I called my insurance to verify and they did not confirm what the office told me. No worries, I'll take my service elsewhere. If you want people to prepay for a service just tell them that don't make up rules that don't exist.

I just had a phenomenal 1st virtual appointment with Dr. Callender. I only waited 5 minutes for her to come online, she was patient, gracious, and very knowledgeable! She was able to tell me what was happening with my hair loss and spoke about the course of treatment that would follow for about 6 months, then she would reassess. Her office staff was also quite great! They walked me through the process and told me what to expect. The appointment was seamless!

Been coming for about 4 years now. Sitting in the office now. My appointment was 230pm. It's 315pm. I hate waiting and understand but damn. Not once have I waited less then 30 minutes to be seen. I give them 3 stars and keep coming back because I have a rare skin condition that very few doctors know about. They give me my prescription that works and I go.

Everyone is always pleasant so I have no issue other then the wait time. I'll definitely continue to come back because it took me years to find docs who understood my condition and able to treat it.
