Jefferson radiology has a responsibility to the women that seek mammograms at there practice to warn them about the UNACCEPTABLE wait time for a mammogram to be read. Last year I had the same bad experience with a protracted time to find out I had an abnormal mammogram. The CEO Ethan Foxman the CEO attributed it to COVIS. Fast forward one year, dame experience. Protracted wait on pins and needles waiting for my mammogram report.its been 21 days and it staill has not been read!
This company apparently does not recognize that anxiety of waiting that long for a result. I saw a comment from someone in the community that worked in an OBGYN office and she said that has always been a problem with them! Jefferson should have to have women sign a waiver up front that they are aware of the extended wait. I will find a breast center that values women now.
Oh and don't bother trying to get to the corporate office to talk to someone, or ask for a manager - they just tell you they will call you back or put you in a VOICEMAIL FOR COMPLAINTS! they must get a lot of complaints if they have to use a voicemail. As a registered nurse I will be sure to tell everyone of my colleagues how bad this experience has been. I will warn them all to go somewhere else.
