Dr Taub did prostate biopsy(negative) 05/18/2018 for elevated psa. almost immediately had issues, infection several oral antibiotics, trip to emergency room. Dr Taub could not seem to figure what to do about infection (prostatitis). After several office visits Dr Taub sent me to infect disease doctor."see you in 6mos for follow up". had infusion antibiotics 2 times a day for 3 weeks.ended up in hospital (08/2018)for 13 days. (low wbc and prostatitis). Dr Taubs office staff is terrible about returning calls.when you do finally talk to person, they transfer you around and around to a different person and never get a call back. Looking for new urologist.

I had prostate cancer twice.first in 2003 and a recurrence in 2008. The first time I had surgery and the second time Proton Radiation. I went to Dr. Taub for my follow up exams in 2010 after my cancer treatment. Based on my limited "after cancer treatment elsewhere" I found Dr. Taub to be knowledgeable and competent. I have not been treated by Dr. Taub for prostate cancer, only follow ups. However, his office staff is a pain in the ass!
They suffer from what I call the "Villages Senior Medical Treatment" syndrome.you are just a number and a "bother" to their routine. Bottomline, a good doctor.but watchout for the support staff.
