I sustained a torn labrum and damage to my AC joint in my right shoulder while at work. I was referred to Dr. Mora and couldn't have been in better hands. Dr. Mora was respectful, knowledgeable and accommodating. He made the entire process stress free. More importantly, I received proper treatment and was able to undergo surgery in a more than reasonable amount of time.

Since the surgery I have made a more than full recovery from before my injury in an unexpectedly fast amount of time. I would absolutely refer Dr. Mora before any other orthopedic surgeon.

I have Fibromyalgia and due to an unfortunate system lots of allergies to just about every medication which can assist me with comfort and or inflammation. I also have a lot of tendon tearing issues so most of my surgeries have been repairs. I saw Dr. Moras profile one day and scheduled an appointment to see him regarding a knee problem. It turned out to be a meniscus tear.

He performed a meniscus repair and although I am still recovering I am very happy as I am hopeful to start my long walks again. But, the most important thing was Dr. Mora is so patient, full of positive energy that you can't help but want to go out and kick your heels. I truly believe through his skills, experience in and out of the operating room he really understands a patients fears and issues.

I saw Dr. Mora for a pec major repair and couldn't be happier. His staff is also wonderful and handled my workers comp case with ease. I am 6 months post surgery and very pleased with the whole process. Dr. Mora is engaging and a great teacher which helped me with recovery. Best of all I have a hidden scar and a symmetrical chest wall again.

First of all I had to wait two months to get an appointment whit this doctor finally when I was waiting for the doctor in the waiting room he go inside and he was very rude he has no respect when he was talking to me he also told me that he wasn't going to do the surgery but he doesn't even took me any x-rays and he told me to stop looking for other opinions and he sent a report to my insurance and because of him my insurance doesn't want to send me to see another doctor I had a terrible experience.

Dr. Mora did my left knee root repair of the meniscus. Sometimes people believe it's not repairable. However, Dr. Mora's attention to detail, excellent follow through, great staff and physical therapy, mine is repaired and strong. Thank you Dr. Mora & staff!

Dr. Mora surgically repaired my ACL and miniscus in October. His bedside manner was phenomenal and his explanation of the procedure and his plan gave me great comfort being in his hands. Not to Mention his staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The recovery was better than expected as well. He used an regenerative therapy (amnio injection) called ClarixFLO that I believe assisted significantly with my pain reduction post surgery. I stopped taking my pain meds 2 days after surgery! Highly recommend Dr. Mora and will go back to him if any sports injuries occur again (let's hope not).

I am writing this review on behalf of my father who is a patient of Dr. Mora's. He has had multiple treatments on his knee in the past from other doctors. However, he continues to have knee pain even after these treatments and have to continue to take pain medication. We discovered Dr. Mora through Yelp and after root repair surgery on my father's knee from Dr. Mora, the knee is now pain free and we are very satisfied with the results. We'd like to fully recommend Dr. Mora to whomever might want to consider getting surgery on their knees.

I had a vaporized ACL and a bucket handle meniscus tear all in my right knee and felt like the bottom of the barrel but with the expert help of Dr. Mora, I feel like I never even had the injuries in the first place. It was definitely a rough and rocky recovery but I couldn't thank Dr. Mora enough for making this a smooth as possible journey. He was not only straightforward and clear when it came to his diagnoses but also courteous and down to Earth in his responses.

Not to mention his masterful work in the operation room either. I'm back to working out and have had an even faster than usual recovery thank you his help. I would highly HIGHLY recommend this place if you have had any injuries similar to mine.

Dr. Mora saved my career. I have had multiple shoulder surgeries in the past, one which required a labrum repair where metal anchors were used to tie done my labrum. I was going to my original doctor, (name withheld), who said there nothing I could do and he sent me to a pain specialist with a message get ready for a shoulder replacement in the coming years.

I couldn't accept their diagnosis and felt as though this big medical outfit that treats pro football/basketball etc really cared about me. I learned of Dr. Mora and his forward thinking through the mma community. Dr. Mora took a quick look at my mri and X-rays and said one of your anchors has worked it's way to the surface of your joint and is creating some major damage.

I thought that's awesome but I thought wow the other doctors had me rehabbing on this which led to more damage. Dr. Mora said not to worry I can clean this up by drilling the anchor far down so it wouldn't intrude with my joint. After the surgery I had immediate relief. He followed up with three PRP injections to the shoulder joint and I can say I am feeling great one year later.

I am back to full strength, I can box, lift weights and most importantly I can work and keep myself protected. From the start to finish Dr. Mora cared and put his heart into my recovery. I gotta say the preop was like a spa experience as well, great nurses and anesthesiologist prepped me for surgery. I was kept comfortable and calm. Don't hesitate to consult with this great doctor he has your interest in mind. Dr. Mora also has the greatest socks in town. God blessed this doctors hands.

Dr Mora performed surgery on my son in law shoulder I was very impressed with Dr Mora. He was very thorough took his time and did the surgery on him. That night he personality called to check on his patient. Dr Mora is a great doctor and very professional I highly recommend him. We travel far to come to see him. And the best medical care. And his office staff was very helpful and very nice. A week later he called check him again. I'm really glad we chose Dr Mora he really cares about his patients.

Dr Mora and his team are amazing! I went in with severe shoulder pain and limited mobility. With his council and YouTube stretching exercises I made tremendous progress. Ultimately avoiding surgery! Thank you Dr Mora!

Dr. Mora did my shoulder surgery last year and I feel 100%. He advised me everything that he was going to do and an estimate time of recovery. He was spot on. I would highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr Mora by a fellow coworker. My problem was a torn meniscus. My first appointment with Dr Mora was very positive. He thoroughly explained what the procedures were and what the plan of attack was going to be to repair my knee. Dr Mora is a very positive person always squared away and ready for the appointment. He would review the records and would let me know the procedures before and after the surgery.

He was very clear with things that I had to do to have a successful outcome. All the required items that I would need after the surgery were there in the recovery room. He and his staff did all the work. I never had to contact the insurance company. Never had problems with referrals. The only thing I had to do was pick the physical therapy location.

My knee is getting better slowly and I can do a lot of more things than before. I really appreciate Dr Mora and his staff. True professionals dedicated To getting you back to living a normal lifestyle. STAY MOTIVATED

After 2 yrs of recurring knee pain/meniscus tear and doctors who made me uncomfortable. I found Dr. Mora! He performed an arthroscopic surgery on my knee, and when I let him know I was most comfortable being awake for the surgery under local anesthesia versus general, he was happy to do so! I watched the whole surgery happen on a monitor in real time and Dr. Mora and his team were amazing.

I went to see Dr. Mora for a root tear & medial meniscus repair (knee surgery). And he and his team made me feel so comfortable during the entire process. Dr. Mora was so kind and informative, he took his time to really explain to me what happened to my knee and exactly what was going to be done. I had shoulder repair surgery (for rotator cuff and labral tears) by Dr. Mora. I knew after he plated my sons broken collar bone that he was wonderful but then my opinion was solidified when he did my surgery. It's been 3 months since my surgery and today I can say that I am pain free and well into recovery. I didn't do physical therapy but I did watch Dr. Mora's videos on YouTube and did the exercises religiously. Dr. Mora stressed to me how important it was to start moving my shoulder ASAP and he was sooo right. Friends that have had this surgery (by different surgeons) are shocked at my progress.

I can't recommend Dr. Mora enough, he's amazing! As you can see in my photos, I have almost all of my range of motion back. Before surgery I couldn't lift my left arm up further than my chest without excruciating pain and I couldn't put my hand on my waist either! Total success but YOU have to put in the work too! I saw Dr. Mora for my recent shoulder injury-proximal humerus fracture. Based on the interview and X-ray, Dr. Mora explained and presented the facts to me and my husband, then he clearly stated medical input that the best option for me is "No surgery needed, give the body time approximately 3 months to heal on itself". Afterwards, he personally used ACE elastic Bandage wrapping horizontally around my chest and arm to provide extra support and further reduced movement of my injured shoulder and I immediately felt a big relief on my pain and soreness. I truly appreciate Dr. Mora who is honest and genuinely looking out the best interest of his patients. a breath of fresh air in today's healthcare environment.

Dr. Mora is the man! He is a very smart and well qualified physician. The man truly cares for all his patients well being and recovery. I'm extremely frustrated with Dr. Mora's office staff. I put a blame on being too busy and having too many clients. Perhaps that's a good thing? But in my case it was detrimental to my needs for follow up. I have left roughly 5 messages over 5 business days. My nurse case manager has left about the same and started 3 business days prior.

My workers comp medical reviewing doctor left 2 messages over 2 consecutive days, prior to my nurse case manager and myself calling. But no calls were returned. Therefore my request for additional PT was denied because of a lack of a medical report that needed to follow the request. Perhaps it would have been denied anyway, but I had back up from my treating physical therapist and the nurse case manager but with out a report on why the additional need, it was denied. Based on the above info, I've decided to leave Dr. Mora and go to another treating orthopedic.

I liked working with him, but I can't wait 3-4 weeks for reports and requests to be submitted for follow up treatment. As far as Dr. Mora goes, seemed great, knowledgeable and I had an overall good experience. It's unfortunate but when I need follow up and additional PT or additional services, I would like the request to happen in a timely manor. Perhaps the office staff is overwhelmed? I wanted to leave this review to help others if the services they seek is immediate. Dr. Mora may not be the right Doctor.

I had a major tear on my left tricep muscle, which for me to date was the biggest injury I've had to date. He was beyond informative and helped reassure me throughout the entire process that with time and his guidance I'll be back in no time. I'm now a year out, post surgery, and feeling very strong. I'm happy to have him and his staff on my team during this sensitive time. Thank you Dr. Mora!

Dr. Steve Mora is an excellent surgeon. I saw Dr. Mora due to a torn meniscus that had been bothering me for years. During the initial consultation, Dr. Mora took his time explaining what was wrong with my knee and what he was going to do during the surgical procedure. He was very thorough and easy to understand and answered all my questions. On the day of the surgery, Dr. Mora made me feel comfortable and at ease.

Dr. Steve Mora is the best. I needed miniscal surgery and I chose him due to the great reviews. My surgery was two days ago and I am recovering as I write this. The whole surgery experience was very pleasant. His staff was very helpful and took great care of me. I went to see Dr. Mora to get a second opinion on possible surgery to repair a torn meniscus on my left knee. Another Orthopedic Doctor had said surgery was the only option to deal with my pain. Dr. Mora ordered a new MRI to verify my issue. He concluded that surgery was not necessary at this time. Instead, Dr. Mora injected Celestone in my knee. I have had two injections in six months and have been completely pain free since then. Dr. Mora is a caring, competent specialist who really takes the time to treat each patient according to their individual needs.

Dr. Mora is a great Doctor. Reasons: He is very attentive, great communicator and comes across that he Cares about his patients throughout my visits with him. He performed surgery on my torn meniscus on my knee that we re-tore after another doctor performed surgery on my same knee, which that other. Doctor failed. The day after my surgery Dr. Mora called me from his cell phone to see how I was doing/ check on me, how AWESOME is that!

He could of had his assistant or nurse call. Anyways you should really look into using him, he knows his stuff and keeps in real and his a great guy and most of all a great surgeon if you need that done.

Dr Mora is great! I took my daughter to him for a second opinion on her knee. We had been told by another Dr that her knee was fine after months of pain and swelling we went to see Dr Mora. He ordered a new MRI but told me even if the MRI comes back normal he was going to recommend scoping the knee. He said he prefers to listen to his patient not always the test.

She ended up having a large meniscus tear as well as a torn ACL he did surgery and she was up walking the same day. He was very attentive and made my daughter feel very comfortable not to mention validated

Just Superb! Dr. Mora treated my father for scoliosis. He took a lot of time evaluating my father's condition with a thorough physical examination, gait analysis, and x rays of both his knees, spine and hips. Dr. Mora fitted my father with a knee and back brace, taught him some exercises to improve his mobility and prescribed him orthopedic shoes.

My father felt like a different person after the treatment. I can't express the gratitude and appreciation I have for Dr. Mora in treating my father and I highly recommend him to any patient with orthopedic problems.
