Perfect Finnish Med Spa

Having never had a facial before in my life, I was a bit unsure of what to expect or feel. Yet from the beginning the place had a warm cozy feel to it. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and I felt treated so well. During the facial, I was explained what each step was and its purpose. Can't say enough good things of this place. It made me believe in facials, even for males. Definitely recommend this place.

Not honest. Unreliable. Unprofessional. Recent new owner doesn't understand how to run it successfully. Hours are not what they advertise

Please DO NOT go to Lorena for laser hair removal. ESPECIALLY, if you are a person of color. I suffered a second degree burn and multiple first degree burns as a result of her treatment. Red flag #1: When I called to schedule a consultation, I asked the receptionist, Jennifer, if they used a laser suitable for darker skin tones. Jennifer was not able to answer my question and stated that she would have to check.

I had to explain to Jennifer that not all lasers are safe and effective on darker skin tones which is why I was asking. Jennifer stated that she had never heard of that before. How do you work in a medical spa that offers laser hair removal and are unaware of that? She calls me back the next day and simply says "your good to go". I asked what type of laser they used and she didn't know.

I told her it was fine, and I would just come in for the consultation. I had already saw it on their website, but hoped it was up to date. Red Flag #2: During the VERY BRIEF "consultation" with Lorena she basically just tells me laser is very effectives and should only take about 6 treatments. She did not go into how it works or the risk factors. I had already done my research but found it odd that she didn't take the time to thoroughly educate her client.

She did make sure to tell me that her machine "REALLY HURTS", so at least she was honest about that. I asked her if I should shave prior to treatment, as I didn't touch the hair so she could examine it during the consultation, and she said "no, that's how I like it". She applied lidocaine to the area which she barley left on for 2 minutes before beginning treatment.

It literally felt like someone taking a lighter to your face while sticking you at the same with a sharp, electric needle. She asks me if it hurts, and I tell her YES, and she says, "Well your not screaming". Apparently, people scream in her chair during laser treatment. She gets to my upper lip and I can barley tolerate the pain. I'm squirming in the chair in tears and she's laughing!

After the torcher session, she walks me to the front, and tells me I may develop a burn but just put some Neosporin and it'll heal. My face is still burning on the ride home, and after a few hours I notice one side of me chin is super swollen, and my skin is weeping yellow fluid. I called the office and Lorena asks me to send a pic. I get a call 20 minutes later from Jennifer, and she says "You have a burn just keep applying Neosporin".

Three days later Lorena responds to my text and says "Yeah. I'm sorry. There was a lot of long hair. It created a burn. Keep applying ointment." Mind you, I asked had asked Lorena if I should shave the hair down prior to her staring treatment, and she told me "no, that's how I like it". So either you knew you would "create a burn" and didn't care, or you're completely incompetent. I'm praying I don't have permanent scarring or hyperpigmentation from the second degree burn. Please, if you are thinking about having laser hair removal, find someone else!

So, so impressed. and embarrassed to think that San Francisco or San Jose or Palo Alto, Pleasanton, Livermore, or even Walnut Creek I thought were the *real* places to go. Perfect Finnish has all the services you would find at the best and most expensive places in Palo Alto, Los Altos and Los Gatos, plus 100% of the charm and the extra benefit of easy parking.

From the minute you walk in the door, everyone is kind, welcoming, well-informed and genuinely delightful. The decor is fresh and classy while, at the same time, welcoming and homey, with homage being paid to the early 1900s, giving the eyes beautiful treats and allowing patrons to feel more as if they're visiting a friend's beautiful home rather than a sterile medical environment.

Truly a lovely experience. The non-surgical cosmetic procedures are performed with a precise hand and artistic eye by an extraordinarily gifted registered nurse, ensuring that clients leave prettier, not with a "done" look. Best of all is that wrapped in this beautiful, clean environment with top-notch professionals is that they are ethical. They are not in the business simply to take your money, performing services just to get your money.

No duck lips, no overly plumped cheeks and no startled looks leave from this place. When "more" is not the answer, they will gently tell you "no." You will leave Perfect Finnish a prettier you. Be aware, bookings fill fast.

Let's say by saying I've gone to many med spas from Blackhawk to Los Gatos and this place has been it. And to say it's 5 min away from me just makes it amazing. No need to drive to get Botox done. She did a phenomenal job! And I am going soon to do fillers for my lips- and maybe under eyes as well.

It was by chance that I learned about this hidden gem and I'm thankful I did. Lorena's approach is caring, sincere, and straightforward. I had a consultation for skin rejuvenation (I am 40 something) because I was looking tired despite a good nights sleep. Before my consultation I thought fillers where the only option to treat the area under my eyes, however, Lorena educated me about Platelet rich plasma (PRP) and I immediately opted for that treatment.

For those who don't know, PRP is derived from your own blood when it is drawn from your arm and spun down to separate out that liquid gold. It is then drawn into a syringe and injected into the desired treatment area with a tiny needle. What I love about this treatment is that because it's your own blood there is no risk of rejection or side effects like with synthetic fillers.

As a matter of fact I only had the tiniest bruise that healed in a matter of days. I swear Lorena has a magic wand! I am attaching a before and after. As you can see I am not wearing any makeup and the lighting is essentially the same in both pics. I can't get over how good my eyes look! If you are ever interested in skin rejuvenation but fillers make you nervous, opt for the PRP, you will not be disappointed.

Olympia is amazing. She is just the sweetest person. She really listens to your concerns. She has helped my skin and my daughters acne prone skin. We having glowing complexions now.

I went in for a facial, that was performed by Breanna, and it was absolutely amazing! From the customer service I received down to the stem cell facial itself, my whole experience was excellent! Breanna was so knowledgeable about ways to improve and maintain my skin. I am now going back every 5 weeks to see Breanna for a facial, I'm hooked! The receptionist Jennifer was so nice and professional.

She really made me feel welcome and I even had an awesome conversation with her. She really made my experience there even better just by being so down to earth and genuine. While I was there I ended up getting lip injections as well that was preformed by Lorena and I was very happy with the results afterwards. I was so nervous but both Lorena and Jennifer calmed me down and helped me get through it. This place is a hidden gem and I want everyone to know how amazing it is! If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Thanks girls!

Been here twice and have been very satisfied both times! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean environment and great communication about appointments and services!

Had an appointment for a laser treatment. Arrived on time, waited 20 minutes, taken to the back, sat down in treatment room, told the laser was being refurbished and won't be back for another week. Left. Total time wasted: 30 minutes.

My experience with Lorena Berhmann was incredible. She gives great advice and has terrific follow up. She keeps it very real and I appreciate that so much. I highly recommend a consultation if you have questions about a variety of new techniques she has brought to this med spa.

Had my first facial here today with Olympia and I must say I'm very impressed and will return every month. She was very thorough and informative with her findings of my skin assessment. Very professional, clean and relaxing atmosphere. My skin is glowing and looks refreshed and youthful. Can't wait until my next service!

Very nice staff and environment. There NP that did my injections, was very good, I definitely am coming back here, and would recommend.

I just had a facial, massage and body scrub. The treatments were good sadly it was an emotionally damaging experience. When I arrived they had me fill out two extensive questionnaires. The lady who did the facial took me to her room and had me change. Then to my horror went back upstairs and proceeded to have a 5 minute extremely rude, belittling and unflattering conversation about my health, body shape and size with the receptionist.

This conversation was extremely upsetting and had me in tears. I finally yelled up the stairs that I could hear them and did not appreciate what was being said or called fat. It was so completely inappropriate, demeaning and made me feel horrible. Ruined any chance I had at a positive experience. I should have left and started to but needed to relax.

After I stopped crying I got the treatment because my boyfriend got it for my birthday. Clearly a poorly managed spa as I was the only customer on a Saturday. The place is clean but holy cow. such a violation to have that info openly discussed in the middle of the spa. It will take some time to feel good about myself again. Hard to believe adults can be bullies too! So do I recommend this place? Not even a little.

It was my first time at perfect finnish medical spa. I was nervous because i had some bad experience with hair laser. But as soon i walked in we had warm welcome and consultation with dr. was easy and quick. I forgot dr name who did my laser but she was extremely knowledgeable and sweet. She made the treatment seem less. And thank you for the great deal as well. Going back in 6 week again.

Michelle is AMAZING! I wish I had more stars to rate her service. She made me feel super comfortable and I knew she genuinely cared about my skin care concerns. I have had some horrible experiences with facials in the past, but I finally found an Esthetician that understands me! Thank you Michelle for making my skin GLOW. The service at this spa is amazing as well and everyone is so friendly! Hope to try another service next time I come.

I've had Botox 2-3x here and a bikini laser hair removal. I dnt knw WHY they don't offer numbing cream for this. Maybe on your face, under arms or legs okay I get it, it dznr hurt that bad. But on s bikini line.:: I actually WANT to get a full Brazilian front and back so I just tried the bikini first and there is Nooooooooooooo wayyyyyyyyy I could ever get a Brazilian w/o numbing cream. Lol Ginavuve (I'm sure I butchered her name/SORRY hun) is VERY knowledgeable and is on top of her game! She won't have you her something that you do not need. I can't wait to get the deep peel.

So I was a little hesitant to come in after Olympia left, but I was overdue for a facial. I met Michelle, Olympia's replacement, and she is amazing! She walked me through everything she was doing, and gave me great skincare advice. She is super friendly, and I felt totally comfortable with her. I ended up adding a back facial too, which was also amazing. On top of all of this, she even made an effort to help me find a makeup artist for my graduation! Definitely recommend her!

I went for a free consultation and felt the ladies cared about my skin issues and came up with a game plan to address my concerns. I have a treatment coming up for a peel on Saturday. I'm confident given the attentiveness and high quality atmosphere of the salon the treatment will go well. I look forward to Posting before and after pics

The staff and doctor are so helpful and genuinely concerned about all the clients it makes you feel at home, safe, an comfortable. The doctor is great every pain or discomfort I've had has been more bearable do to the doctors advice under his care. Verdia Nix

I have been going to Perfect Finnish every since they opened in Tracy. Gun is awesome for your make your look beautiful lips. Olimpia gives an awesome facial - she clearly knows how to assess your skin and determine what facial will best suit your skins needs. She has a sweet, polished and professional demeanor that is welcoming and lets you know you are in good hands.

Olympia is Amazing! I have struggled with acne and dark spots since I can remember. I have gone to her a couple of times now, she is a great listener i tell her all that i don't like about my skin and she always gives me great advice on what not to do, and to do! I get the Micro done as well as a facial, she takes her time and always asks if I'm doing okay.

She is super sweet and always makes my face feel amazing before i leave. I have never been able to walk out of the house with out makeup on, and now i have enough confidence to do so after going to her for my facials! I love her she does amazing work! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
