Took my 7-year-old autistic son there for a walk-in due to a broken bone the bone had been broken a month before but was refractured, we were turned away and was told they would not see him unless they could have his medical records and make him an appointment. What is the point of walk-ins if you're going to turn away a 7-year-old child with a broken bone. Horrible horrible horrible will never go back do not recommend.

Neglected to call my boyfriend back for a week after his shoulder surgery. Rescheduled his follow up with no call or text on a confirmed appointment. No one knew why. Did not ask who I was when calling to confirm his new Appointment and gave private HIPPA information over the phone. Do not recommend the Johnson city location.

Dr. Parr is top notch, excellent surgeon and super nice. We made few trips to walk in clinic after surgery and Becky is definitely the best around! She and the PA Kendra were both very professional and you could tell they knew how to do their jobs!

I second guessed checking in after the initial encounter from the front desk lady. She looked at me like I had 3 heads when I told her I needed to check in for the walk in ortho clinic. Not exactly a welcoming front but I received quick and excellent care from the clinical team once taken back. Angela the PA was great and thorough.

Dr McKinney is a star. I've been to him for 2 issues and he quickly explained them and the necessary treatment. The staff are very responsive. The PT team is great -very competent.

Everybody. EVERYbody. I've been in contact with is absolutely top-notch! Staff is perfectly trained and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes at either office (Johnson City or Bristol). Polite, efficient and a real role model for the medical profession.

From the front desk checking in, to the nursing staff, to the visit with my physician/surgeon; the entire team at Appalachian Orthopedics of Johnson City was superb! Dr. Parr, Joanna Roberts PA, and Mrs. Wendy have been a professional, patient-oriented, perfect team caring for me during this orthopedic journey. Many thanks and much appreciation to all!

Very friendly and efficient staff. I saw Dr Brashear for pre surgical visit. He is excellent and answered all my questions. I was feeling a bit apprehensive about my upcoming knee replacement. He told me exactly what to expect. I left feeling almost excited to be having the surgery. DrBrashear is at the top of his game for sure. The best in his field of surgery in this area. I highly recommend him and his practice. He is very highly regarded by his Fellow physician's s as well. Stay tuned as I will repost after the surgery

My experience with Dr. Waldrop and his staff has been excellent. Everything regarding my care seems to be a priority to everyone. Dr. Waldrop himself has called me just checking on my progress was coming along after a shoulder surgery. They all explain any concerns I may have regarding my care.

Today was my second consultation with Dr. Holbrook. He spent the correct amount of time, answered all question and discussed all options in detail. The attending staff (front desk, nurse, x-ray tech, etc.) was excellent. Wait time was very brief and everything about my visit went very well. I trust my treatment outcome with Appalachian will be successful, too.
