Crossroads Medical Mission

This mission is dependent on volunteers both on site and behind the scenes. We have been blessed with many "angels" who joyfully give their gifts, time, and prayers to enable the mission to operate effectively and efficiently. Quite simply, the volunteers enable us to focus our attention on providing health care. The mission would not be possible without these wonderful people.

Crossroads Medical Mission is a Primary Care Physician's Office and does not provide dental services. Crossroads Medical Mission does not charge for the services we provide*. We accept walk-in patients at every daytime site. Please review our schedule and sites to find out the best location and date for you.

Our mobile clinic, affectionately named "Big Cat, " is a 43' diesel-powered mobile clinic with two exam rooms that are well-equipped to provide primary medical care. We also have an SUV that allows us to visit sites when taking the Big Cat is not an option. We can help with the management of routine medical problems, chronic diseases and other requests that are ordinarily addressed at a family practice physician's office. The main difference? Our office is on wheels! Screenings for common medical problems such as diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol.

The costs of the mission average $2,000 per day or $100 per patient. The major expenses include staffing, prescription medications, laboratory testing, medical and office supplies, professional fees, insurances, vehicle-related costs, and office-related expenses. We do not charge patients any fees, nor do we bill insurance.
