Doylestown Family Medicine, P.C. was established in 2003 by Elliot H. Schnur, M.D. and is a solo family practice. Our office is located at the corner of North Street and Spruce Street in beautiful Doylestown Borough. We have a parking lot and there is also plenty of street parking available. We are accepting new patients and see patients of all ages, from infancy to geriatric. We provide comprehensive health care to our patients, emphasizing preventative health, management of chronic health problems, and acute care for many problems.

Dr. Schnur is a board certified family doctor and has been in clinical practice since 1991 and has been serving the Central Bucks County area since 1995. Dr. Schnur is a dedicated and caring family doctor, providing comprehensive, quality health care for patients of all ages. Dr. Schnur is originally from Long Island, New York.
We at Doylestown Family Medicine have been trained and certified to perform DOT physical exams helping to insure that drivers of commercial motor vehicles (CMV) are physically and mentally fit improving highway safety for all. The U.S Department of Transportation requires that anyone applying for, or with a, Commercial Driver's License (CDL), must pass this exam a minimum of every two years.
All adults should visit their health care provider from time to time, even if they are healthy. Even if you feel fine, it is still important to see your health care provider regularly to check for potential problems. Most people who have high blood pressure don't even know it. The only way to find out is to have your blood pressure checked regularly.
NOW ENROLLING PATIENTS FOR OUR MEDICAL MARIJUANA (CANNABIS) PROGRAM: Many patients have expressed interest in medical cannabis as a treatment for certain serious medical conditions. Dr. Elliot Schnur is approved to certify appropriate patients for medical cannabis as approved by the state of Pennsylvania.

I have been seeing Dr Schnur since moving to Doylestown in 2013. He is excellent. Very knowledgeable and very caring about me as a patient. He has been helping me reach my health goals. I especially love his staff especially Barb who no matter how many calls & requests I make she takes care of me with a smile. I highly recommend Dr Schnur and his team.

Dr Schnur is wonderful. He has been our family physician for 15 years. In fact we followed him when he left an overly large impersonal practice up in Plumstead. At that time I also took my kids out of a pediatric practice and he has been their doctor since childhood. He is confident yet cautious and has helped us through both major and minor health crisises. His entire office, spearheaded by the kind and wonderfully efficient Barbara- is lovely to work with. I strongly reccomend Doylestown Family Medicine.
