Great eye exam, finally someone nailed the correct prescription. Seeing clearer for the first time in a long time. Very professional, large selection of frames. Got my glasses back in a week. So far everything is great. Eye doctor suggested better eye drops for my allergies.

Dr. Gaye is outstanding! A few years ago I was having some strange eye issues and went to see him. He let me know what was going on and was very proactive about taking care of the issue. It took some time to figure everything out but he was very concerned and made sure everything was healed and my eyes were healthy. I know it's a doctor's job to do theses things but Dr. Gaye really went above and beyond for me and I'm sure he would do the same for you

Great place. I usually have trouble with progressive lenses. No trouble at all with my new glasses. Didn't even need a few days to adjust. Entire staff is kind, considerate and know exactly what they are doing. Highly recommend.

The office staff are friendly and courteous. However, somethings that should have prevented. My appointment was 21 June 2021. 1st set of lenses made for my frames. I got a message saying they were in and ready for me to pick them up. When I got the glasses, they were supposed to have Transition lenses with brown tint. When I put them on and walked outside, (a bright sunny day) they did not change.

Come to find out they can not put brown tint in polycarbonate. They did refund the money I paid for polycarbonate. But instead of informing me, they just let me find out. I don't know who dropped the ball, but someone should have known. 2nd lenses, the bifocal was crooked, and too high. I took them back for a third try. On 16 August 21 I went in to get the lense put in the frames.

The left lense bifocal is still crooked and is closer to the nose than the right, but not as bad as it was. I will live with it. Just beware: I don't think it was the office staff making most of the mistakes, but the lab they use seems to be incompetent. In 50 years of wearing glasses I have had problems, and things happen. However the lack of communication and quality control is unacceptable.

What a great place. Almost a hidden gem so to speak. They were on time, every person in there was friendly and helpful. Doc was very patient with my children, Mom and I. He proposed a few things to help out some concerns we had. After putting to practice what he recommended, we have noticed significant improvements. Thanks Acuity!

Absolutely stellar Service, they took the initiative for assessing the quality of one of our lenses and sent it back to be fixed because they weren't satisfied with the quality They kept us notified during the whole process and our 3 pairs of glasses came to us absolutely perfect. We highly recommend them for your eye care needs!

Absolutely the best staff you'll find. Welcoming and very friendly. You will not find a more comfortable laid back place. Dr. Gay is an excellent doctor. He was prepared with knowledge of eye drop safety for a nursing mom when even my general doctor even doesn't know. I'd highly recommend this place.

In fact, I'm so impressed with the quality of care here that I drive more than 7 hours from the U.P. for my annual appointments (their contact shipping policy is top notch, too).
