The practice has evolved considerably over the past 22 years to it's current form. I still love what I do and have no plans to ever stop. Over the past 39 years, I have had the privilege of being able to provide the entire gamut of Ob/Gyn care for thousands of women and newborns in our area of Michigan, from delivering their babies, to getting them comfortably through menopause, cancer, bleeding problems, and pain, essentially all the aspects of medicine involving the female reproductive system. Over time, and with very mixed feelings, I gave up certain aspects of the practice, and now I am down to the point of having 2 major goals.

Unlike hysterectomy, which removes the entire uterus, endometrial ablation removes most or all of the uterine lining using heat and electrical energy. It is a relatively simple treatment that can be performed with just some pain medication and local anesthetic in the comfort and convenience of our office, eliminating the need to go to the hospital and making it easier to schedule.
Incontinence and Prolapse problems can afflict women of any age and cause significant life style impairment. Childbirth, abdominal surgeries, certain types of heavy activities, or lack of appropriate exercise can cause weakening of pelvic support structures that keep the pelvic organs in place. The result is what is referred to as prolapse.
