Services
Every patient must be referred to our practice by a physician outside of our office. This includes, but is not limited to, primary care physicians, surgeons, or another specialty physician. We place a strong emphasis upon communicating with the referring physician, and will work with both the patient and other caregivers to provide the best consultative services possible.
Please bring a complete list of all current medications, including strength and dosage. If you are unable to do this, you may bring all your current medications in their original containers. Please contact your physician to assure that all patient information has been forwarded to our office. This may include copies of test results, office notes, x-ray reports and other materials. All HMO insured patients should contact their primary care physician to be sure that a referral has been made to this office.
Our receptionists or medical assistants can handle appointments and answer most general questions. Our office policy is to have our experienced nurses discuss routine medical problems. They are in communication with the physicians regularly. Please try to make all non-emergency calls during our scheduled office hours.

I was referred from my primary care physician for a colonoscopy. They sent me paperwork that contained three other peoples info names DOB procedures address etc. I was shocked and called they told me it must have been from their mail machine that malfunctioned and that's why I received other peoples info which is a patient privacy issue. Needless to say, I lost confidence in the practice and I don't want to become a patient of Digestive Health Associates. Now I'm looking for another referral from my primary care physician. Unfortunately I may have to become a patient I order to have the procedure.

The entire staff at Digestive Health has always been kind, compassionate, and listened to my healthcare needs. I see Dr. Weick and would highly recommend him. He always listens to my concerns and answers all of my questions; I've never felt rushed in an appointment. He's also always been willing to alter a treatment plan and/or order additional testing to best treat current symptoms.

Dr. Carroll is one of the best physicians I've met in my entire life. She is what every medical professional should aspire to be like when they take on the medical field. The nursing staff at digestive health center was absolutely phenomenal and helped me so much, their ultimate goal is patient care and I am so grateful.

I had an appointment on March 23 2021to follow up a procedure. I could not make it, so I called the appropriate 24 hours in advance, and was told that there were no appointments available until April 29 2021 So I took it, *edit to add there were in office appointments earlier, but I wanted a teleconference because my kids can't come in with me, and wasn't sure I'd have anyone to watch them, again.* and was told that I would be put on a waiting list.
I put the appointment in my watch, but didn't put the time. So, I called today to check the time. I was told there was no appointment for me on the 29th, that I was marked as a no show on my March 23rd appointment, and now because their receptionist couldn't do HER JOB and put my appointment down, I am stuck waiting until JUNE to discuss my ulsers.
My PCPs plan of action is to "deal with it" until I talk to my GI. Which I thought was in a few days. I highly DO NOT suggest this place, on account of their front desk staff are incapable of doing the MAIN TASK of the position.

A few years ago, while still in my thirties, I had the most challenging experience of my life with an unknown illness presenting as a variety of things, that dragged on undiagnosed for months. After many tests and sorting through the medical community I found myself truly exhausted and beaten down - and at the door of Digestive Health - and it was THE turning point and truly life-saving.
Great staff, a compassionate physician (Dr. Goldman), quick and efficient scheduling, and within a couple weeks the answer to my medical challenge - colon cancer. I could not have asked for a more honest, caring, quick response and plan of action than I received with this group. I'm eternally grateful for the expertise and persistence of their team.
I'm forever a fan of Digestive Health! Thank you for your excellent staff, training, and the high-expectation for performance for those who represent your group. Always grateful to know you're there should my family or I need you again.

I have seen many, many doctors in my lifetime, and Dr. Goldman is in my top 3 that I will always remember as a bad experience. Quick to walk away when you have important questions, callused, and his attitude to me, was very uppity. I'm just a normal person going through some health issues right now, and he definitely didn't make me feel comfortable. I feel that it's important to be professional, but also have some bed side manners, it never hurts to have a little compassion.

I have been a patient of Digestive Health Associates for close to 30 years and a patient of Dr Antinozzi's. The staff has always been empathetic, warm, and caring. I feel my concerns are taken seriously. I've had Crohn's since 1978, with multiple surgeries, perforations, abscesses, fistula's, infusion therapy, etc., etc. They are the best in their field, I highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of a Gastroenterologist
