My doctor sent me to Atrium Cabarrus concerned that I may have a blood clot. My husband and I waited 3 hours before a triage nurse saw me. Some of the other folks waited for up to 11 hours still have not seen a doctor. They then made an announcement that anyone not seeing a doctor had to leave. That did not go over very well with my husband and I.

Then the police came into the ER making sure that no one seeing a doctor had to leave. There were 4 police cars outside the ER. I have had some serious health problems this year and was not going to sit in the ER by myself. I needed my husband with me. We both left. This was wrong. Just wrong. I was scared and needed him for support. I was in severe pain and in tears.

My husband knew the pain I was having and when we got to the car he commented that he was glad I made the decision to leave he said the place was a "shit hole". The care and compassion with health care has declined so much it truly is upsetting. If I could rate lower than a one star I would.

They are so messy. Everytime we bring someone here to have a colonoscopy, they always put someone ahead of us. They do not have a reason why they continually doing this. I wish that I could give them 0 stars. The wait time is horrible.

I don't have any concerns about the treaty but to say thank you for your kindness. Amazing customer service, support and kindness that I receive by the providers at Atrium Health Union! Thank you so much!

The ER staff were kind, attentive and always kept me informed. I am so glad that I was assigned a room on the 3rd floor! Rachael my day nurse was amazing. Trina my daytime nursing assistant, was so helpful and the nutrition staff member, Mickey, was a bright, happy spot in my day. April, my night nurse, was kind and considerate. And my night tech, Sid, was supportive, very efficient and made me feel so well cared for. Thank you to everyone on the 3rd floor! You all treated me very, very well.

My mother is currently in ICU for severe pneumonia. They transported her out of ICU for one night (way too early in my opinion), and then she had to be transported right back to ICU due to worsening pneumonia and in respiratory distress. I have talked to many nurses and doctors at this point and while the nurses seem to be nice and helpful, the doctors don't seem to care that her pneumonia is worsening and will not change their course of action.

She is currently receiving the same antibiotics she has been since she got here a few days ago, yet her condition is getting worse. I asked politely if we should try a different antibiotic or something else and they insisted to give it more time to see what happens. I'm not understanding why they can't try something else or add something else to her plan of care to see if she gets better.

But if something happens to my mother because they waited around too long not trying to help her, I will be contacting someone about the doctors who have been in charge of my mother's care. This kind of care is unacceptable! Really wanting her to be transferred to Matthews because of all of this.

I was a patient on 2nd floor the nightshift charge nurse Erin was racist and came in my room making racist comments to me I told the floor manager Patricia Wallace and nothing was done and Erin was allowed to come back into my room when she didn't need to. I had a nurse Erin didn't need to come in my room to bring me coffee or anything. I will go to the media and expose this facility.

I'm a police officer in NC and licensed EMT. I had planned to progress my EMS training to the paramedic level but I'm being prevented by Atrium Health. The college that I would be attending for paramedic training does NOT require a covid shot but part of the training takes place at Atrium and they mandated you take covid shots. I am not amused with the Healthcare system.

They claim everything is covid because they have financial incentives for treating it. I see thousands of people waiting in line to be tested for it at the pop up testing sites. I imagine they have some sort of referral fee from the hospitals. I know big businesses probably love all these covid restrictions and stimulus because no one forced amazon or walmart to close down but all sorts of small places have been destroyed by restrictions.

I do not trust these hospitals one bit and I know I'm not the only one. God bless the nurses or anyone who's not involved with the hysterical scheming that goes on nowadays in Healthcare

As a mentally ill covid patient I was treated like an inmate not a patient. the staff for the most part was horrible and non-responsive and not the least bit helpful especially one of the head ER nurses not sure her name but she had short gray hair.

The nurses on the 4th floor are amazing! Compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. They are the SEAL Team 6 of nurses. Of all these great nurses, one did stick out with an overwhelming positive attitude during the busy times. She made me feel like I was her only patient although I knew she was very busy. I could go on and on about how awesome she is but I am limited on space so just let me say this. Thank you, Ivy! -Ed Stanton
