Bone & Joint Group - Richard Rubinowicz

I was very pleased with my son's appointment and the doctor. However a couple of weeks after his appointment I received a very very large bill in the mail. Naturally I was very upset and tried to explain that to the billing office but they couldn't really help me much. I finally spoke to the office manager and the same day Dr Morris called me himself.

He apologized about the billing confusion and told me I do not owe them a penny. I could have cried I was so relieved. Dr Morris went above and beyond and I will definitely use Bone and joint group in the future.

I was referred to Dr. Starkweather due to severe pain and limited use of my arm, it got to the point I wasn't able to do normal every day to day tasks and I needed relief. He did the Tenex Health procedure and explained the whole process without all of the big medical terms. The entire staff at the Bone and Joint Group is amazing, sweet and friendly, they won't treat you like you're just another number to them. Dr. Starkweather and Kristi also won't waste your time and have you do something that isn't going to work, they are definitely a no nonsense group! If you're looking for a doctor's office that isn't going to make you feel uncomfortable and make you do unnecessary things definitely go see them, you won't be disappointed!

I went in with a boxers fracture and did not get a chance to see Dr Stark worth but the office was very clean the nurses were very polite helped me fill out paperwork because I couldn't write.

Dr Starkweather has operated on me twice. Once for my achilles tendon and thee second time for a carpel tunnel release. I am very satisfied with his level of care and commitment to my well-being. I would strongly recommend Dr Starkweather to anyone needing orthopedic surgery. His staff is also first rate and very helpful.

Unfortunately my wife had Dr starkweather butcher her twice, the last time for a year her leg couldn't bend more than 45°, basically she was bed ridden for a whole year, knee replacement therapy didn't work, shots and 2 hospitalizations for knee manipulations did work, I think he did more harm. We finally went to Nashville Tennessee the southern joint institute and the doctors were amazed at the bad placement of the knee replacement, so they had to take all of Dr starkweathers work out and redo it, her legs can bend at 89% not, we wish we would've gone to Nashville first, sorry I wouldn't recommend Dr Stark to anyone

The office staff I have interacted with have always been very friendly; kind; & helpful to the max! I 100% recommend them if you're in need of an Ortho!

I loved the PA I saw. The office staff was extremely rude every time I was there or called. Wish I would've gone somewhere else. I'm editing this because of how AWFUL this place is. It's a shame because I like the Dr. and PA. Their office staff truly is rude and terrible. They have no idea what they're doing. They lied to me about my MRI and never scheduled it and then laughed at me over it.

I had to wait a month and ended up causing such a fuss they finally scheduled it. On top of that, my father tried to pay my bill since he's the primary on my insurance and they wouldn't let him. Now they have the nerve to send my bill to collections?!?!?!? Really?!? He was going to pay it IN FULL and they wouldn't let him. Sorry excuse for a business. NEVER going there again. STAY AWAY!

Took my kid here. The doctors are skilled but It was a rushed experince and I was billed a huge amount of money with insurance and this office still will not bill my kid's visit correctly. Therefore im getting full price, messed up insurance bills even though my kid has insurance. The insurance company has said they will pay the full bill if this company will ever bill it correctly. We're still waiting. If you want to be harassed to pay cash for a full visit even though you have insurance, then be my guest and go.

My son and I had an excellent experience here. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. In a scary situation, they made us feel extremely comfortable, answering all questions in a personal manner. Dr. Stanton was just simply amazing. He drew pictures for my son to show the severity of his break with honest friendly answers to address all of our concerns.

Bone & Joint group is highly recommended from my family to yours. Excellent Care! To add to the above, after reading another review, I would like to say that I am a Self Pay patient. The staff as well as Dr. Stanton went above and beyond to help in any way shape or form. I feel like we were treated the same as if we had the best insurance possible. They were up front with costs and worked with me to get my son CT scans and surgery as fast as possible.

Dr. Stanton was amazing. My daughter broke her ankle and they were quick to make a same day appointment and schedule her surgery for the next morning. This was after another Orthopedic office gave us the run around for almost a week. I couldn't of asked for a better experience or for a better staff.

This office actually refused to make an appointment for me based on my being a self pay patient. Actually denied me services based on the fact that I would be paying cash for my visit. Unbelievable. Evidently The Bone & Joint Group discriminates against people who are not offered insurance through their places of employment, or like me, are self employed.

I was told, "we are not accepting any self pay patients". As if I was some sort of indigent trying to make an appointment with their Foot and Ankle Specialist. When I asked for an explanation I was told it is just their policy. I wonder how they collect their co pays. I am sure cash is happily accepted on those payments. Shamefully, what you can't pay cash for in their office is the right to be treated with any respect by The Bone & Joint Group.
