I took my 4 year old son there tonight and the dr and all of the nurses were amazing! Dr Jacob was so great with my little guy. So patient and kind. And the nurses were amazing! They really went out of their way to make him comfortable.

DEATH TRAP do not go here for anything. My mother was in ICU for 4 days and was not given one bite of food I stayed with bed side for the entire time just to be told on the fifth day that should should have been eating this entire time and drinking water. 4 days without food or water and no IV fluids And very poor nurse and doctor support. Nurse do not know each other Very very bad place to go go to grants pass or Medford or Eugene for care

This is the worst hospital ever! Make the drive to Eugene or Medford. I went there and never even was examined. They just prescribed antibiotics. Well it got worse and now I'm about to do what I should have done in the first place and drive to Eugene.

Ive never taken the time to write a review. CHI Mercy Hospital on almost all levels needs help. I believe they are understaffed, not adequately trained, disorganized and under equipped. These issues are the result of mediocre treatment and service over time. This is seen as standard practice and accepted. Extremely long wait times, unanswered basic questions.

There is a unanimous lack of confidence in CHI Mercy from all long time residents of this county. The general perception that the staff lack empathy could be that they do not have the resources to push your question further up the chain of command because there is no chain of command. I believe most the staff genuinely want to help but cannot. They cannot get you answers, they cannot give you timelines.

They lack quality qualified doctors at the time of your visit. You will sit and you will wait. OR you will get up and leave, they have that system streamlined. If I were to describe CHI Mercy health to someone I would say: Its an absolute last resort, drive to Eugene if you are able.

Stephany told me to google it when I asked to set an appointment for a doctor. Then she hung up on me. I called back and she hung up on me 5 more times. I still haven't set the appointment and ironically I'm trying to get Anxiety medication! By far the worst experience I've ever had with a hospital!

I just have to say that Mercy Hospital is one of the WORST hospitals I've ever been to. The staff is insensitive and I had to wait 6 hours to be seen for a serious matter and when the doctor comes in, talking a million miles an hour, talks to me for less than 3 mins just to be pulled out for a phone call. When she returned she said I had to wait another hour to speak to someone who might be able to help me.

I decided I'd rather leave than spend one more second waiting for help. All the doctor had to do was set up a tellahealth call for me. And I was there from 5-11pm. A truly trash hospital. You're more likely to die in the waiting room than actually get help.

Apparently they need some competent help in billing! I keep receiving bills for things I have already paid. Literally show on my bank statement, but they cant find the payment. sent one to collections just so I could call and prove I paid it and then they dropped it. Be careful with them. Might be worth a drive to Eugene.

If I could give negative stars I would. If you need anything, including emergency medical care, you are better off rouging it yourself or driving to literally any other care facility. Have had multiple family members had information withheld from them to pursue proper care. Its like seeing a bad mechanic, they see something is wearing out, but they would rather see it break so they can charge you more for the broken part than a repair.

This rang true with an emergency surgery that happened some time in the past for us. Nonchalantly bringing up that they noted an issue years before, but never mentioned it on any records so the issue could be dealt with. Similar experience of a close relative who is currently in a different facility, failed to mention there were elevated levels of something that indicate his fears could be true.

The rejects of the medical field thrive here, they know you are trapped, and they will take advantage of you, just remember, they call it "mercy" for a reason. You will be begging for mercy to leave this place after dealing with their horrific "health care". To them, you are a dollar sign, not a life, a wife, a father, a husband, nothing.

For a hospital that is considered to be rural. I found the facility to be clean and up to date. the hospital staff and administrators were professional, polite and courteous. when the care needed could no longer be facilitated there due to high numbers, a higher level care was needed staff arranged a life flight with Reach. I was transported 4 hours away to Portland. I credit them for in part for saving my life from severe respiratory covid.

The hospital Admimistration here at Mercy Hospital is horrific! The doctors and nurses that worked through CV19 we're praised as heroes throughout this Douglas County community are now recognized only in the way if they won't take a jab! Mercy would rather kick their hard working employees to the curb. Nobody has the authority to walk on, or disregard others rights. We all have rights to choose what is best for us and our families!
