We made a bad decision going to Dr Hiatt. He botched my wife's tummy tuck. Without weight gain her stomach was back to the way it was within weeks. 3 years later we are still dealing with stitches surfacing and infections.

I would recommend you do your own research but my experience with Dr Karl B Hiatt was the WORST! He came to me highly recommended from a friend of mine. I went in for a liposuction consult and ended up going through the procedure. First of all, I woke up in the middle of the procedure and he was performing liposuction on my abdomen and remember being in pain and seeing another medical assistant other room nodding her head in disgust.

After the surgery he wrapped my stomach and sent me home. That night I got extremely sick and broke out in a fever. I tried to see what was going on with my stomach and realized he put the surgical tape directly on my skin. When I tried to take off the tape my skin was literally coming off with the tape. My stomach was BLACK! I called Dr Hiatt immediately and told him what was going on and he gave e me a very uncompassionate answer and replied "So what do you want me to do about it" and did nothing. Looking back years later, I could have died from the infection that set in.

After seeing other plastic surgeons about this, they told me it was a botched procedure and my skin would never be the same. I would NEVER refer this Karl Hiatt to anyone! Horrible experience!

Dr. Hiatt performed an ear-tuck surgery for me and it was fantastic. Dr. Hiatt and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The surgery and recovery went great. It was the best decision I ever made. When one of my ears continued to push out a few years later, I went back in and Dr. Hiatt quickly put in a stitch to help with it at no additional cost. Great service!

Dr Hiatt is patient, kind and respectful. Answers all questions with such clarity and confidence. The surgical experience went better than expected and recovery easy and eventful. Anna, his anesthesiologist, made sure I was comfortable. First time I have not had nausea after surgery. His staff is also wonderful. If needed I will come back again. Best surgical experience of my life.

I had an immediate need and wasn't sure what I was going to do about it. Went in to Dr. Hiatt's office for a consult but was feeling a little hopeless. The staff was so warm, welcoming and very encouraging. When I met Dr. Hiatt he had some great suggestions and was willing to help and do what it took to correct the problem. Having had negative experiences from previous surgeries I was very hesitant.

He and the staff listened to me and calmed my fears and reassured me how they would handle those concerns. It was a VERY positive experience. I felt good really fast. I healed so quickly and really well with very minimal (almost none) scarring. I love this office! I love the staff! I love Dr Hiatt and would recommend them to everyone!

I used Dr Hiatt MD after dealing with cancer and needing reconstruction. Several years have gone by and I got notice My implants were recalled. I hate the way my breasts look and without even an examination he told Me my insurance would not cover because I had gained too Much weight he was absolutely the most unkind non caring doctor I have ever encountered.

I have gained 11 lbs since the first survive many years ago. My insurance had changed and they never asked for that information. Basically he did a crappy job and I would never ever send anyone his way again. I just did not want to feel Worse than I already did. But guess what! He made me feel Worse!

I had a great experience with Dr. Hiatt and his awesome team (everyone is super friendly, I really enjoyed my entire experience). To preface this, I have worked with doctors for over 15 years. so I let tell you, I am SUPER picky about the doctors I choose for my own health and wellness care. I can always tell right away if it's a doctor I want to work with or not.

I chose Dr. Hiatt because he is not only super professional, but also super caring. He has a great sense of what you need and is very efficient, not only with his words but also with his scalpel. He put me to ease right away. I felt he went above and beyond understanding my needs and desired outcome. It is no wonder why he is the most sought after plastic surgeon in Arizona (yes I did my homework before calling him).

I definitely plan to go back and see him again. He made such a positive difference in my life, already. Give him a call, he does free consultations. see for yourself why he's #1 :)

I am not the best with words, but I would recommend Dr. Hiatt to everyone that I know. I appreciated his relaxed nature, his gentleness and his respect for my privacy. If I had to sum up my overall experience I would have to mention the last thing I remember before going under for surgery, and that was Dr. Hiatt holding my right hand assuring me that I would do great, and my anesthesiologist and nurse standing at my left side with confidence and compassion radiating from their presence.

Every member of this team took their time to answer every question that I had and never made me feel like they were in any hurry. I did not want to have to use the after hours service, but I did. Dr. Hiatt never made me feel like I was interrupting him. He was as gentle, relaxed, and confident as usual. As a health care professional with over 15 years experience, I know what to expect from a provider and a practice, but as a patient I also know how I want to be treated.

After considering other surgeons for my procedure, I chose Dr. Hiatt for his experience, professionalism, and humanistic character. I am very thank for him and the entire staff.

First and foremost if you can look past his hard demeanor at first, Dr. Hiatt does warm up to you! But let's be honest here, we're not paying for an interaction. We're paying for a service and I'll tell you what. He exceeded any expectation I had! I am so thrilled with my results and would recommend him to anyone. The staff were awesome! They all were so extremely friendly and were able to answer any question I had. 10 out of 10

I came to Maria after a doctor recommendation for a laser treatment. Maria was amazing. She took a good care of me, was very professional and paid attention to each area I needed and even did the laser around the area I was suppose to be treated with no extra charge. She also gave me a sun protection for the skin for free to use after the treatment.

The treatment was painless and two weeks after I have to say I'm really pleased with the results. I definitely going to come back to this place whenever I'll need another treatment. Thank you.

I am not embarrassed to say I had a mommy makeover even though I am now a grandmother. I am so pleased with the outcome my results surpassed any expectations I may have had, If there was only one regret it would be that I didn't schedule it sooner. I have had 2 procedures by Dr. Hiatt and have been extremely happy with the results! I had somewhat of a complicated re-constructive surgery after having mastectomies. His attention to detail is amazing and because of his expertise in making the most of what you have, helped me feel like myself again after chemo/radiation. He's also kind and compassionate and puts the needs of his patients first and foremost.

He has a state certified facility to do his surgery cases so need for hospital stays. The staff is helpful and they care about their patients. I highly recommend Dr Hiatt and have complete trust in him! Book a consult and see for yourself. He's worth the wait if he's busy! A busy dr is a good sign. KF

I have had a few procedures done with Dr Hiatt. Very happy! Getting ready to go in for an eyelid consult. Nice staff, clean rooms, very professional place.

I loved my outcome! I had a 104lbs weightloss all naturally. Dr. Hiatt gave me a beautiful tummy tumck with muscle repair and lipo of the hips and flanks. I love the way my new body looks I'm very please with his work. He had incredible bed side manners I felt completely at ease before going under. I would definitely go back for any work I might want in the future!

I had my first initial consult on 12-10-15 for a Breast Augmentation which was supposed to be an hour or at least that's what I was told when I made the appointment. I was in and out within 15 minutes, the staff was rude and talking about previous patients they didn't like. The office was not welcoming at all. Dr Hiatt was a jerk and didn't even know what I was there for.

He Didn't have any implants on display and I didn't even try the sizers on like in my other consults. I'm not sure why people like him. I left his office as fast as I could; I even threw the "cost estimator" sheet he gave me away as soon as I was out of that office.!

Well I only went for a consult and that was enough to tell me I won't be going to him for any surgery. I asked how long a consult would take when I made the appointment. I was told to allow an hour. Well that's because I had to wait 20 minutes to be taken to a room. The doc came in and was very vague about the procedure. Luckily I research breast lift and had a consult with another doc earlier so I knew what to ask.

I was interested in a breast lift and wanted info with and without an implant. SO he tells me to put on a gown and he would be back. I waited a few minutes and I could hear him with another patient! After 10 min I opened the door and asked if he forgot about me. The girl apologized and he finally came in. Looked at my breast, didn't measure or do much of an exam, told me he could do it either way I wanted and he could use saline or silicone whatever I preferred. Needless to say he was not very informative and did not explain everything like my first consult.

So the hour visit was because he makes you wait because he sure isn't taking time with his patients. I Saw Dr. Patti Flint and her office was wonderful. I am going to her for my surgery. Check her out first before you make any decisions about plastic surgery.

Dr. Hiatt is a superb physician that gives great care. He has come to my family's aid for numerous injuries requiring his expertise. Dr. Hiatt has great bedside manner and his staff is kind and knowledgable.

This was the worst decision I ever made in my entire life. Dr. Hiatt performed on me a tummy tuck leaving me with a big and deep indentation of 2 inches long where the stitches go in the middle of my abdomen and a belly button that is too high. I also had liposuction on my neck, jawline and arms. The result was significant irregularities and depression of the skin as a consequence of Dr. Hiatt inattention to detail.

The unevenness, lumpiness and disfigured neck and lower face made me very uncomfortable to be in front of people because they keep staring at this area. This last procedure it really changed my life for the worst and I wish I never had it done. I consulted the best plastic surgeons in Orange County and Beverly Hills with the same results: There is nothing they can do to make it look better. No a day goes by that look at myself in the mirror and cry. Dr. Karl Hiatt ruined my life.

I have had two separate procedures from Dr. Hiatt. First was a breast augmentation in the Summer of 2010 and then a tummy tuck in the Summer of 2011. It goes without saying that I wouldn't have gone the second time if I wasn't thrilled with my first experience. Although kind of on the quiet side, he was extremely patient, understanding and helpful.

His staff took their time to answer any additional questions, called to check on me and made me feel like they truly cared. A couple of days after my second procedure, I developed what I thought was some unusual swelling and rapidly increased drainage. I called Dr. Hiatt's office and he called back minutes later. Although this was around 10pm on a Saturday, he and his wife (who is a surgical nurse there) met me at the office 30 minutes later to rule out any serious problems and were prepared to do any procedure necessary that night if anything was needed. Turned out to be nothing, but his compassion was clear. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hiatt!
