I was not to happy with this latest appointment. They took x-rays, took me back just after, updated chart and the doctor came in, (wait was not long). She looked at x-rays, said it looked good, stretched my leg. Pressed in areas that I had pain, told me I shouldn't have constant pain after 7 months and recommended a deep rub therapist. Bye and reschedule with Doctor who performed surgery in a month.
I waited longer on hold to make an appointment than the doctor visit. Was not worth being referred to ANOTHER therapist that charges $50 for a 30 minute deep rub and not covered by insurance. My doctor bill will come out three times more than the time was worth. I may be looking for a second opinion elsewhere.

Adrian never calls back and now that I think of it the appointment was originally set up by Adrian and she knew the reason for it, although she didn't know Dr. Ian's attitude she never informed them or made a note of the reason of the visit which would've removed probably the whole visit and the anxiety that came with it. and the medical assistances lied for the weirdest reasons.
After my review I got a notification on my portal from Laurie stating "Dr. Ian did not complete STD paperwork", even though she left me a voicemail on Friday stating that she had prev faxed the completed paperwork on that Tuesday. I'm unsure for that reason but if it trickles down the top totem pole of miss miscommunication and your care is at stake, go somewhere else.

I had an appointment with Donald Morganson today. I thought he was wonderful! Very thorough, very caring, and made sure that all my questions were answered. Because we had to put off my surgery for unexpected reasons, he was able to give me a cortisone shot to keep me pain free until the surgery itself.

Dr. T. Olsen shows that he care. He ask questions about my pain and how I'm feeling. He hears and listens to what I'm saying. He takes the feedback and we discuss possible best options available for me, because everyone's different. Dr Olsen is always pleasant, you never feel like he's rushing the visit just to get to the next patient. I feel like he really cares.
In the beginning of each visit you're greeted by one of his assistants who are always pleasant as well. I appreciate that! I'm glad that I found out about the Core Institute.

This afternoon my wife brought in my 18 year old son in for an appointment regarding pain in his arm. After already accepting payment for the appointment, the receptionist was rude to my wife for not having a mask on. My wife and son were made to wait over a half hour despite all of the questionnaires and paperwork being completed a head of time. Then, when my son was brought back for an X-ray the representative rudely refused to allow my wife to come as well.
At that time the receptionist told my son, away from my wife, that he would not be seen unless she put a mask on. My son is 18 years old and payment was already made so there was no reason to refuse to see him plus it showEd complete cowardice to confront him with it instead of telling my wife. We will not be coming back for any future visits. My wife does not deserve to be treated so rudely Just because the staff want to power trip!

The Core Institute is a fantastic solution to your orthopedic needs. Just had extensive shoulder surgery, and Dr. Amini is so good at his job that within two weeks after surgery, the shoulder felt better than it did the weeks prior to. He has an experienced, deft touch that will allow you to get your needed surgery and begin healing almost immediately. I will be going back to him for any other orthopedic needs.

We had our first post surgery appointment at the Core Institute in Gilbert this week. Upon arrival there was a FULL waiting room with standing space only, and a check in line out the door! Naomi and Sara were the amazing employees at the front desk, handling all with kindness and patience! Not all of the clients were nice, but I wanted to give these two credit for their amazing professionalism!

I saw a PA at the Mesa office twice, then a Dr. the Gilbert office. I knew immediately that I wasn't getting an objective opinion from the Dr. when he kept referring to my useless visits w/ the PA. Who's more trained here -- I wanted a doc to make an objective opinion on his own. This is the same PA who shrugged when I described my symptoms, said to me about my initial observations of pain, "Well that has nothing to do with it." and answered some of my questions with "yep" or "nope".
When I continued asking him questions he responded with, "Well we could do surgery." which I knew was his attempt at baiting me for more extensive unnecessary treatment. A more professional response of the PA would have been to LISTEN and discuss my observations and explain which situations they did or did not fit. So when the doctor refers so highly to the immature responses of the PA, I am suspect.
I wish he would have viewed the MRI images w/ me, not just the report. The hand people could not believe that the PA didn't recognize classic pinched nerve symptoms, and now the nerve people can't believe the hand people don't recognize my classic hand symptoms. I know that the PA and the Dr are thinking I'm nuts, but it appears that everyone else is nuts but me. Two stars because the doc's nurse is nice.

I recently had 2 back surgeries performed by Dr Hirsch. I made a mess of my lumbar over many years. I am not a surgeon, but I know these were not easy surgeries! I am very grateful to him for seeing me on the road to a better future. I am improving each day and my follow up with Dr Alonzo have been very positive also. Thank you Core anyone who needs a back surgery or joint replacement, go to Core! They truly help keep life in motion!

Dr. Lundberg has no compassion and is fortunate never suffering pain or hardship. He lacks empathy doesn't listen to your medical history. I have an autoimmune disease which causes painful flares. I'm pleased I no longer need daily pain meds but I am very tolerant to pain meds after being on Buprenorphine. I used to have a PCP that if I needed surgery.
He knew how to convert from Buprenorphine to an opiate if I had a scheduled surgery. I was followed on a weekly basis and drug tested. Dr. Lundberg refuses to consider the facts of my case. The first time I experienced the tolerance was when I had peritonitis. I needed emergency surgery but had to wait three days for the medication to clear. My blood pressure was skyrocketing.
Finally a BSN nurse advocated for my pain needs and I could eat and sleep. Recently I was in a serious head on collision my front tire blew out. I called the MA at CORE that I was still in severe pain with the current prescription. She told me I could fill the med in three days. I filled the med when she told me to. So I ran out of medicine one day early.
After a head on collision accident my memory is not the best. I suffered a crushed and dislocated patella and tibia. I have one more surgery to get through. This man has no business being a doctor. His obsession with the amount of opiates a severely under medicated trauma patient needs demonstrates he is better suited to police officer than a healthcare professional.
I still faces more surgery and Dr. Mengele expects people to live in pain so he can feel in control. I have a crushed limb. He has absolutely no empathy. Such a lack of compassion from a healthcare provider makes one feel worse. Today I am angry at his inability to understand humanity. He only cares for conformity and control. One day he will be old and need healthcare. I hope he is fortunate enough to have a Medical Doctor who understands pharmacology and human pathophysiology. Not the undereducated police in a white coat.

I love my Physical Therapy Team of Rebecca, Emily and Bryce. They are all super awesome. Friendly and they listen they do not hurt me. I've had to have 1 session with the other team there and I went home bruised and couldn't walk for 2 days so for me they were no bueno. Also the redheaded receptionist is super unpleasant, she's argumentative, says she does things that she definitely didn't do, can't seem to grasp simple concepts and in the past has cancelled all my appointments when I specifically said I only wanted to cancel 1 specific day, then didn't apologize and had a huge attitude about having to reschedule them as if somehow it was my fault.
This location also doesn't seem able to use their own portal for doing any of the things the portal is supposed to do so I'm not sure if that's the portals fault, poor training or laziness but it's extremely unhelpful for people who want to get things done online rather then make phone calls (the call center is full of people who don't seem to understand medical conditions so it can be interesting)

Dr. Myerthall replaced my knee 3 years ago. It was the best experience ever! He was so attentive, the staff was caring and informative. He told me step by step information on what to expect and he was spot on. He did the surgery and I was able to walk within a few hrs. with a walker! Healing was almost pain free, and they stayed on top of everything for me.
I couldn't have ask for a better surgical experience and Dr. I cannot believe that my knee that he put in has given me my life back! I can hike, climb up mountains, and do anything that I want thanks to my new knee and Dr. Myerthal l! He is the best!

I can't comment on their care, because I have yet to receive any. I had an telehealth appointment for 8AM today, and as of now (9:35) I'm still waiting for the doctor to join the Zoom call. I have also been on the phone with their scheduling number for the past 52 minutes. They pop in from hold every now and then, and say "sorry for the wait". Unbelievable.
What is the point of an appointment? I get that doctors are busy, but so am I! I blocked out an hour for this appointment at work, and it's been almost TWO hours and I have yet to be seen by the doctor.

PA Kaylynn Corby is great, but their test scheduling department is awful. Anything out of a normal scheduling appointment that you can do yourself online is impossible. You always get a voice mail message (nothing to do with COVID - has always been this way). And they don't call back so you end up in a proverbial phone loop black hole. Especially annoying when in pain.

I went to Dr Myerthall for left knee surgery, because I have a very rare liver disease I am on several types of medications one being for pain. The problem is after surgery it was discovered they didn't know how to treat for the pain while I was taking my regular medication. It took 3 days of NO pain relief the Dr. to do what was called a block.
Finally relief. 18 months later it was necessary to do surgery on the right knee. I had an in depth conversation with Dr. Myerthall about my fear of a repeat. Dr. Myerthall assured me a block would be used again. After arriving at the hospital, all prepped and ready to roll into the O.R. the anesthesiologist came to visit and we talked about the method of pain relief.
I told him of my talk with Myerthall and after he spoke to the Dr I was informed he would'nt be using the block we agreed upon. I was so confused rolling into the O.R. in extreme fear of the pain I was about to experience. For a second time. Just as I had imagined the pain was excruciating and it took 4 days to find a solution. Here I am years later having a great deal of recurring knee pain and to fearful to do anything about it. I felt like it was an assembly line and Like others have said it appears to be about the almighty dollar.

BEWARE! Inexperienced providers that have misdiagnosed my condition multiple times. Unprofessional behavior by several Physician Assistants. Received painful injection by poorly experienced Medical Assistant. Asked two Physician Assistant to call me back about my condition and did not receive a call. Hippocratic Oath eludes these " health care providers." Have signs in office about commitment to excellence in healthcare. They are significantly sub par!

I normally don't do any type of reviews on yelp because sometimes I think people just get angry and upset but I have to share this. This place is unbelievably careless and don't care at all about patients. I was left in the x-ray room for 30 minutes before I had to get out and tell somebody that I've been sitting there and that somebody said I don't even know who you are! What a bish. they had me sit in the lobby again and then put me in another room and waiting I've been waiting here for over an hour why do we have appointments

During today's appointment front office person was wearing a mask under her nose. When reminded it should be over the nose she announced she was asymptomatic which means: Someone who is asymptomatic has the infection but no symptoms and will not develop them later. She then announced she was has the antibodies, which means: If you have a positive test result on a SARS-CoV-2 antibody test, it is possible that you have recently or previously had COVID-19.
There is also a chance that the positive result is wrong, known as a false positive. This is so wrong in a medical office. Office staff in general in uncaring. It was that way 8 years ago when working on another family member and have not changed as of today.

Not one office staff member is wearing a mask during AZs highest levels of Covid-19 infection and deaths. Just heard a staff member say that they are going to make us wear masks soon. Quote from staffer: "Why do I have to wear one I'm not sick?" I thought these were trained medical personnel and they should know in the very least that you can be asymptomatic and carry this disease to others or pass it to them to carry to their family members. Totally irresponsible! Physicians and assistant did put in masks in exam room. 5/7/2020

If I could give a zero stars I would. I've been going here for over 5 years, I had an a accident which caused me to need pain meds, after 5 years I was tired of being on them, they didn't work any more the dr. wouldn't up my dose so I'd take more then what I was supposed to. The meds were taking over my life and I'd had enough.
So I go to my dr., Dr. Daftari/ Mark triplet and explain my situation and was honest with Mark Triplet about everything and told him I'm done with the narcotics I don't want them any more, I tried to get off them myself but the withdrawals were so bad I needed help. So Mark Triplet was going to help said he would send over something to help me but after I left he consulted with Dr. Daftari.
I tried to pick up my meds that I was told I would be getting and couldn't find them, so I called back and asked what happened they told me that Dr. Daftari said that they were dropping me and wouldn't be helping me. So now I sit here having withdrawals like you wouldn't believe. I am completely blown away at the fact that they just drop a patient who has been on narcotics for over 5 years, who is seeking help to try to better there life and get off the narcotics. Dr. Daftari is the worst doctor ever, I would not recommend him to anyone, he is only in it for the money not to help people.
