Dr. Victor is such an amazing doctor. My eyes couldn't have been in better hands. I have referred three close friends so far and told my doctor at Cigna how he did such a great job on my eye lids. Excellent doctor - I have already recommended Dr. Victor to family and friends - He started with my mother - she recommended him to me and I recommended him to my husband and he to his brother.
Dr. Victor is a board certified, fellowship trained oculoplastic surgeon with over 35 years of experience in eyelid plastic surgery. As a medical eye doctor and eyelid surgeon, he has completed additional training in plastic surgery as it relates to the eyes and surrounding structures. The skin around the eye is very sensitive and requires a specially trained surgeon who can deliver a natural, symmetrical and functional result.
When the upper eyelid droops down over the eye because of a stretched or weakened eyelid muscle, the condition is called "Ptosis." Ptosis can limit a person's central and/or peripheral vision, and also give a tired, heavy look to the eyes. It can affect one or both eyes, at the same time or at different times.
