I am happy that you are here. The secret to good health is creating the healthiest child all the time; therefore, when your child does get an infection, he may recover quickly before another infection takes over. I consider my self a 'holistic pediatrician.' This means that I try to use every therapeutic tool at my disposal to create your happiest, healthiest child.
In order to minimize waiting time, patients are seen by appointment only. Emergencies, of course, will be worked into the schedule as needed. When you call for an appointment you will be asked the nature of the visit. This information is important to determine the length of the visit; again to minimize the patient's waiting time.
A fever is an increase in the body's temperature to assist the body to fight viral or bacterial infections. A fever is the body's temperature at or above 101.7 °F. Studies show that children do not feel sick or tired from a fever until the temperature is over 102 F, yet some infections make a child tired and quiet whether they have fever or not.
The flu is a contagious illness caused by a respiratory virus. When someone with the flu coughs, it can be inhaled by children nearby. It can also spread by touching contaminated surfaces, like door handles, then touching your face or mouth. Because the flu is a virus, it cannot be cured with a medication.

Have been taking my kids to see Dr. Dana Hogan and Mrs. Gretchen for several years now. When we were interviewing pediatricians before our first was born, we easily made the decision to go with Sunshine. Dr. Hogan has always been very kind and professional. It really feels like she listens and will give holistic options for many of the struggles our kids go through.

The week after my first way born, she called us to check in just to see how we were doing, since she knew we were first time parents. I was so touched by her thoughtfulness. My kids are very comfortable with her and Mrs. Gretchen and will chatter their ears off during appointments. They are superb with them. Everyone from Kylie to Tabby have been great to us, and I recommend Dr. Hogan to many new parents looking for pediatricians.

I have never had trouble scheduling a same-day appointment when needed. The new office is a bit smaller, but the large amount of parking and lack of traffic congestion is a welcome change. Highly recommend. We adore Sunshine Pediatrics.

Our time at sunshine was anything but sunshine. The visit with the doctor was cold and border line rude. When asked what hospital we delivered at she rolled her eyes at it and the information we as new parents where given by them (the hospital). It was a cut and dry visit that left a new mother with even more questions then she came into with. Then days later when trying to call to ask about something with our new born we were told that the doctor had closed the office for no apparent reason and that we would not be able to reach anyone that day.

This again lead to questions and concerns that we weren't giving our daughter the best. So in wanting to do that we choice another doctor who has already seen us, called us, and loved on us. I write this not out of anger, but out if hope that things would be better!

I absolute love Dr. Hogan for my two girls! I had wanted to try a different pediatrician for my child back in 2019 because I did not feel listened to. I am a "helicopter" mom and usually call over the smallest things, but Dr. Hogan is spot on, respectful, and actually listens to you. Dr. Hogan will sit down and really hear your concerns without dismissing your feelings.

She is very insightful, gives good advice, gives referrals where necessary, and is very quick to get an answer for your concern. She is always smiling and her energy is amazing even if you call 10 times in one day! Kylie is absolutely wonderful with working around your schedule while being patient and understanding to each patient and situation. I also feel like Kylie uses her time to better the practice by developing interpersonal relationships with parents and patients so check out is very quick. Kylie is very friendly, always smiling, and my girls love her! Dr. Gretchen is wonderful as well.

She is extremely talented and works with my child/children to where my toddler no longer has a fear of doctors all because of Dr. Gretchen! The doctors both utilize their skills to understand each child as an individual and work around their personalities so we have the best experience every single time we go! I recommend Sunshine Pediatrics to anyone who is looking for a very practical and more of a holistic approach to the practice of pediatric care. (Back & Front staff is also amazing & take their time to sanitize and make you feel comfortable while you visit with friendly faces!) Thank y'all so much for all you do!

I have enjoyed the front office staff and office manager. However Medical Assistance Shannan is rude, uncaring and has no business working with children. She barked orders at my toddler and then scratched him with her incredibly long/sharp fake nails (that have no place in the healthcare setting) Dr. Hogan was curt, brief in her interaction with my son and spent less than 5 minutes in the room during a well visit.

No going over growth, milestones etc. Prior to this experience my child was given a medication that he was allergic to by the NP and was not caught until several hours after we were sent home. I feel that this practitioner simply has no time to be bothered by the children that are her practice. Unfortunately I will be looking for a new pediatrician for my growing children.

I've had primarily excellent experiences w/Dr. Hogan & her office staff. She always calls back in an emergency and has alway taken time evaluating my children. I like that she gives treatment options as well. Joan, the office manager, is especially wonderful at putting families at ease with any part of a visit. I also really love PA Gretchen & the Nurses in the back.

All of the staff seem to work very hard to take the best care of my kids. I feel this office genuinely cares, putting the children first and that this is number one priority.

Dr. Hogan and her staff are as close to perfect as they come. Dr. Hogan was there for us during our daughter's cancer diagnosis, and six year later she still eases my fears. She is great with kids, and amazing at encouraging parents. My children love her and her nurses are the sweetest! I often joke that if she were to ever move, we would follow her. There is just no one like her. She is so precious to us!

I use Dr. Hogan for both of my children. She is amazing, caring, and doesn't make me feel like my questions are invalid. She listens, which is nice. I like the office staff and environment, and the fact that I have never been rushed through an appointment. I drive an hour and a half to take my children to her, and it is worth every minute in the car for better quality care for my children.
