Broomfield Family Practice, founded in 1958, is a family practice clinic providing personal medical care to individuals and families of all ages. Our staff is comprised of Board Certified Family Medicine Practitioners and Certified Physician Assistants.

Services
Our operator is on duty from 8:00 am to 5:oo pm to take your call or to direct you to the proper number. Our triage nurses are available from 8:00am to 1:00pm, and 2:00pm to 5:00pm to answer questions concerning your health care needs. If you call with a health care problem after hours, on weekends or holidays, we have a physician on call who can help.
We realize patients may need to change their appointments; however, we require a 24-hour notification of cancellation of your appointment so we may offer that time to another patient. If you fail to cancel your appointment in a timely manner, you may be billed for the scheduled time. Each time you visit, please bring your insurance card for verification and eligibility.
The invoice number will be telehealth. If you need the amount owed and it is not on your insurance card, please contact our office. This needs to be done no less than 1 hour before your appointment. Make sure your phone is connected to WIFI. If you have an iPhone you need to check your app settings and make sure that you are allowing the app to access your cellular data or the call will not go through. Take advantage of the online services offered by our practice with the assurance that all of your information is encrypted and stored securely.

The front staff have always been friendly and nice to me. When I call, I am always greeted and helped. I love Darcy Connelly and Moe, and Dr. Blair and Sue. They treat me like I am important to them. They take the time to answer my questions and concerns. I couldn't ask for a better Doctor or PA for myself or my family. Thanks Broomfield Family Practice.

Don't bother with this office, they don't care about the patients only the money. My 65 yo mother just tested positive for covid at home she is pretty sick and has to take care of my father in poor health (who also has Covid btw) and we called to see if we could get the equivalent of Tamiflu for covid and were told they would only prescibe that after seeing her.
What more are they going to do that the at home test didn't - other than risk exposing others? Icing on the cake is that the receptionist was rude and generally unhelpful. Not to mention the poor treatment my father received under their care that ultimately led him to switch offices, but that is a whole other can of worms.

Broomfield family practice used to be so good. But have definitely gone down hill. Trying to call the office you can expect a long delay to get in touch with an operator. Pharmacy said they sent refill request in yet BFP says they didn't receive. Getting updates on your blood work is very slow. Before Dr Essig retired I would get calls from her nurse right away. Not any more. I truly hope they can get there issues resolved and it will return to the top notch facility it used to be.

This facility has gone downhill ever since the good doctors retired. I had a disagreement with the folks about getting on their scale. Silly, I know, but the scale is always 10 lbs heavier than my scale at home, which when I put a 10 lb weight on the home scale it weighs exactly 10 lbs. We politely parted ways that day as they told me me they could not see me if I did not get on the scale.
Well I could not get an appt for a month going elsewhere so I made an appt with them a month out. When I arrived they told me my appointment had been canceled because of last time. Nobody called to tell me this even though they have my #, I had been coming here for 17 years. If you could give negative number reviews I would. If you have a choice, you should go somewhere else and let your friends know.

Edited/updated-BFP used to be our "go to" place for us and our kids, but we haven't been back since our favorite doctor left years ago. We recently went because they had a same-day appointment available with a provider that we had seen before. The current staff (that we saw) were rude and impersonal. We felt unwelcome, uncomfortable and weren't able to speak with anyone about concerns (including co-pay questions), and didn't see the provider we asked for.
As a result, we told them we were not staying for our appointment and left. Unfortunate experience and we will not return here. *Update that I accepted an opportunity to voice my concerns to Dr. Hill. I appreciate the opportunity and her explanation of some concerns. Other facilities provide information up front to help avoid surprises or uncomfortable situations. Regardless, I still feel that their staff's customer service needs work as they should be treating patients with respect and kindness.

Just made the move to Broomfield Family Practice & have nothing but good things to say so far. Had a heck of time these past 4 years trying to connect with a doctor's office & definitely feel like we've found our spot. Been recommending a ton to friends who are also looking for a better doctors office.
