Our incredibly talented staff is here to make your experience at Flatirons Dermatology the best it can be. Leanna started at Flatirons Dermatology in November of 2020. Please check-in 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time so we can get you checked in and confirm any important information. For lengthy appointments (generally 1 hour or more) or higher priced procedures (generally $500 or more), a deposit of $100 is required. We understand unexpected complications and illnesses arise, however, an appointment is a promise between our providers and you, the client. With the time constraints of our providers, ample notice is required for rescheduling appointments.
At Flatirons Dermatology we perform Eyelid lifts (Blepharoplasty) on the upper eyelids to correct a tired and drooping look to offer a more youthful appearance. The eyes have a large impact on the way your face looks, so for those with excess skin or fat around in that area, an eyelid lift may be an ideal solution.
Injectables and dermal fillers are minimally invasive procedures to restore a youthful appearance. A soft tissue filler is injected into the skin to fill in facial wrinkles and create facial volume. Dermal fillers are FDA-approved injectable treatments designed to reverse structural volume loss from normal aging.

I live a five minute walk from this office so would like to have them as my Dr but it is so difficult to get anyone on the phone to schedule an appointment. I have tried multiple times in the last six months. I've left voicemails with no call back. I've used other options on the phone selection to get to a person then get transferred. Today I finally got a hold of someone and they said they would transfer me to the front desk to get scheduled.
A few minute later they got back on to tell me no one could take the transfer and to call back in a couple hours and maybe someone would be available. This is basic customer service to pick up the phone. With a history of skin cancer I can't be with a practice that has no sense of urgency to get people scheduled. So now I drive 30 minutes to an office that is responsive.

Dr. Aksut was awesome, she took the time to talk with me about my options and she was honest about what she thought would and wouldn't work for me. I've had several negative experiences with dermatologist's in the past so I'm very picky about my providers now, and this was a really great experience! All the other staff (front desk and medical assistants) were great too!

I went to Flatirons Dermatology ready to solve my hormonal acne problems, but was left disappointed. I received a bill for a telehealth appointment for an outrageous amount because they never processed a claim with my insurance. my acne was never resolved and I left with more problems than when I came in. The receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful throughout this whole process and the doctor rushed every appointment I had. Will not be returning.

Dr. Smith and PA Megan are both great to work with. Megan is awesome! Unfortunately, my son's experience with the male PA (Dan Green) was not good. He was really rude to the assistant helping him and openly critical toward Megan's treatment file to a point where my son was uncomfortable. My son refused to let PA Green treat him. (How is this acceptable Dr. Smith?
Other reviews complain about Green's attitude as well. You need to manage your staff better - cost you 2 stars on the review.) Anyway, great office otherwise. Terribly busy. Avoid the male PA and you should be in good hands.

I've been going to Flatirons for only 5 months now and have only had 2 appointments so far. I had contact dermatitis on my eye when I originally went in for acne so we did two separate appointments. Meghan was great with my eye appointment and I felt heard, that day was actually her last day and I was bummed. I went back in for my acne and Dr. Green attended me.
I don't know how I felt about it honestly. It was super quick, and the last thing he did was look at my face. I felt like I could have used an online service and had more attention to my actual concerns, but because I'm desperate and just need the treatment the Dr. almost didn't matter. I'm going to keep going and see if I feel like everything improves.
My face is improving but I wouldn't say I walked away ready to recommend this place. Reception staff is super kind and friendly, and they try hard to be safe so points for that.

Love the staff! Dr Smith and Daniel are exceptional. They finally have found a medicine for my eczema. Seriously, I've had it all my life and Daniel knew what to do. Dr Smith has done so much to help me. The staff he works with are all just as helpful. The docs actually spend time with you for your appointment. They really get to know you and take all the time needed to listen

Dr. Smith, was so personable and kind. Today, I called and the website was down. The staff was very understanding that my paperwork was not done in advance. When I arrived the paperwork was printed, and ready to go. I appreciated the attention to detail, the review of the plan, and the compassion from the Medical Assistant and Dr. Smith. After my appointment I ran into friends, who also had nothing but amazing things to say about Flatirons Dermatology! Worth the wait for the appointment!
