Many people suffer from allergies to house dust. This allergy can cause miserable nasal symptoms, but it can also cause asthma and eczema to be more severe. The severe nasal stuffiness can also precipitate sinus infections. In 1964, two Dutch scientists discovered that a microscopic pest is the main component that causes allergies in house dust.

I call to make an appointment and Kayla I think her name was, was very rude. Imagine someone's skin flaring almost 24/7 and you are referred to this clinic who then hangs up before you can finish a sentence. I called the first time and she said the coordinator had to check for my referral, so I left a message. I called my insurance to make sure it was faxed and they decided to re-fax it.
I call back to check in and get the same woman who now tells me to wait 1-2 business days until they receive it then the coordinator will call. Does that mean no one was actually going to call me back after the first call? I wasn't upset at all in the call and was trying to be understanding but I guess 3:30 is too close to closing because once I said ok and took a breath to ask one last thing I was hung up on. All I wanted was information and help.

VA beware, be sure to keep track of your authorization. You will not be informed it's expired and they will continue giving you shots. Until they send you the bill there's no way to know. I was charged for 2 shots I thought was covered by VA. Not a pleasant experience. On a positive note, the staff is nice and the facility is presentable.

First off this is a new patient appt and the person who made my apt. told me no lotions but did not mention no antihistamines for 10 days before apt. Now there will be another copay for another apt. and more time off work. 2nd when you walk in the receptionist has her back to you and turns around to invite you around to her desk. very cold and non personable.
When I told her I didn't appreciate that nobody told me not to take antihistamine for ten days she gave me a blank look. No apology nothing. 3rd There is construction all around this place and nobody mentioned or had suggested how to get into this place. You come in from the back and there is no sign on the building itself took me 30 min of driving around closed streets to find it.

When I called about a specific test they said "sure we can do that!" They also said they took my insurance. I went in for my appointment and the doctor refused to do the oral challenge I'd specifically inquired about and requested, tested me for a bunch of things I told him I had already been tested for, then sent me a bill for nearly 300 dollars.
Apparently "take my insurance" meant I'd be stuck paying two thirds of the charges. The testing they performed was done in an open room full of people taking their own tests, which doesn't seem particularly sanitary to me, especially with the increased risk of allergens being cross contaminated. All in all a bad experience, and a waste of time and money.
