I've had good experiences here with dr leymaster and dr yaw for the past 3 years. He sees both my children and answers all of my questions to my satisfaction. I'm always able to get an appointment quickly when I need one and the nurses are always available to answer any questions on the phone or call me back promptly.

We had been taking our daughter here for over two years. We recently had twins and had our first appointment for them with Leymaster. We had the second appointment after their lunch hour. After waiting 55 minutes to be seen, a nurse + 1 other entered the room. The other started taking our child's vitals. After measuring him incorrectly (said he was 12 inches long not 20), we learned she was a student.
She had no permission to treat our child. After waiting 15 minutes more, Leymaster came in late with no apology for his tardiness. He began his exam. He did nothing from the umbilical cord down (nothing under the diaper for our male child), which makes it an incomplete exam. He then, on his way out, gave us a pretty severe misdiagnosis and left. We immediately sought on a second and third opinion by real neonatologists. He is awful. I would never recommend this place to anyone who cares about their children.

I have been bringing my kids here since they were born, and my oldest is now 9. This place went way down hill after Heather McConnell NP left, but I kept giving it a shot. The new NP is full of herself and you are just a number to her. She introduces herself and gives me the same speech EVERY time I take my daughter in there who is only 8 months. Uh yeah, I know.we were literally just here.
I realize they see a LOT of kids, but she clearly doesnt remember we were just there a month ago, or care enough to look at the chart to see that. Today was the final straw. I wont go into details, but let's just say any medical concerns you have are not taken seriously because they're doctors and know better than you. Take your kids elsewhere.

Dr. Yaw is great but their Billing "manager" (Teela) is awful. She is rude, incompetent and lazy. She refuses to resubmit claims "you can't tell me what to do" and also does not inform patients when insurance is needing additional info to process claims she "doesn't do handholding" then sends you to collections for claims that have not even been processed.
Also accuses you of being snappy when asking questions and will proceed to hang up on you. Sad to say my children and I will never be coming back nor recommending anyone to this practice again after being patients there for 8 years. Also the office manager seems to lack the ability to care about how her staff treats patients.

I have been coming here for over ten years. Their previous nurse practitioner Heather was absolutely wonderful. The one they replaced her with is condescending and not very nice to kids. The newest doctor has terrible bedside manner. When checking my autistic son for his knee reflexes, she told him she was going to hit him on the knee with a hammer.
I only continue going for Dr. Wodarcyk. She is amazing. The only one that usually sees my son but she is probably about to retire. When she leaves, I will be gone. (I would give Dr. Wodarcyk a million stars if that was optional. The two stars I gave in this review are not regarding her but the new people that they are hiring.)

This place was our primary pediatric doc for the oldest since she was born, we never had to deal so much with billing or office staff until recently where we were 25 min late for an annual visit on a Sat early morning appointment. We were asked to pay 40 dollar no show fee, in spite there were no patients waiting in the lobby (no cars parked outside); actually part of the delay was waiting on the receptionist who is busy on phone making appointments.
It is not the 40 dollar fee that upset us, instead accommodating us or hearing our situation the receptionist was trying to make another appointment. We have moved on from this practice and started new care for our two kids (older and the new baby delivered on same day), especially noticing no personal relatable approach towards families. It is ironic that they have lost more money being commercial and charging nickel and dime.
We are not against the no-show fee, which is a good policy to hold accountable, but it is about staff and their approach. Billing department (or may be the billing person) is hard to work with, never return calls or respond to voice mails. She sounded apathetic and not much help either. We had multiple charges wrongly billed for flu shots that are fully covered by insurance as a preventative care for kids. If you do not call or question them you will most likely end up paying them.

My son has been going to both office since he has been born. The doctors are all very friendly and loving. The best part are the nurses Kim and Becky my son loves them both and they are excellent nurses. They are both caring and loving and know what they are talking about. So thankful there are still nurses out there who care. Definitely recommend both nurses!

I could not be more thankful for the care at Westerville Pediatrics for my daughter and son, 2.5 years old and 6 months. Dr. Wodarcyk is always very thorough during appointments, listens to my concerns, and I love the way she interacts with my children during the visit. I never feel rushed. I have also had a couple of appointments with Dr. Yaw and cannot say enough great comments about her.
I was very worried about my infant son later in the day on a Friday. With no problem, she took us for an appointment and handled everything in office. This office has a nurse line during open hours so you can always talk to someone. Cheryl, one of their "call-in" nurses has helped me so much in my journey of motherhood. She has given me sound medical information, guidance and reassurance when needed.
