Since 1996, Dr. Criscitiello, a fellowship trained and board certified orthopedic spine surgeon, has been helping patients live their lives with less back pain. He specializes in the treatment of spinal disorders and has been involved in the development of new minimally invasive technologies. He is on the committee pioneering The Valley Hospital Spine Center.
Dr. Mark Pizzurro is proud to join his father, Dr. Joseph Pizzurro, and his partners to carry on the long tradition of care at Ridgewood Orthopedic Group. Dr. Pizzurro is a fellowship trained and board certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in adult reconstructive surgery. Our use of cutting-edge technology, such as robotic arm assisted partial knee, total knee replacement, direct anterior hip replacement, Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), partial knee replacement, and advanced fixation technology has helped Ridgewood Orthopedic Group and Dr. Pizzurro to become leaders in joint care here in northern New Jersey.
Dr. Brief specializes in orthopedic surgery and adult and pediatric foot & ankle reconstruction. Dr. Andrew Brief is proud to bring his experience and expertise in orthopedics to the Ridgewood Orthopedic Group. He is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult and pediatric foot and ankle reconstruction.
Dr. Kevin Roenbeck is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in upper extremity musculoskeletal care, including elbow, wrist, and hand surgery. Dr. Roenbeck provides operative and nonoperative care for a variety of conditions, including fractures and injuries of the upper extremity, arthritis, tendinitis, nerve injuries and compression syndromes, tumors, etc.

Dr. Pizzurro was extremely professional and through. After a detailed exam with X-ray's and an MRI he was able to diagnose the issue with my knees. Unlike other Doctors I have seen regarding this issue he was not quick to recommend surgery. He gave me options that he thought would help fix/correct my issue, with surgery as a very last resort. I highly recommend Dr. Pizzurro.

Doctor Dizdarevic was everything a patient could want a doctor to be: investigated, understood and explained every detail of the problem, what was causing the problem, what could be done for the problem, even what had been done wrong in the past to potentially trigger the problem. He also listened, answered questions and spent as much time as needed for the patient, not a hint of any hurry. Cannot exaggerate how positive the experience was.

Had a pretty bad experience here. Went in for a shoulder issue and was booked initially with a hip doctor. When the staff realized that, I had to reschedule and come back later. After that, there was a mixup in the MRI preauthorization process, which caused a lot of back-and-forth and delays And they ended up doing the MRI of the wrong part. I tried to get them to resubmit and get another request to insurance but Dr Dalfeco's nurse doesn't return my calls and if I go to the office they just give me the number of the nurse and tell me to keep calling.
