Long wait time, you're lucky if you're able to get in and out in an hour. Some of the doctors aren't very good/nice in my opinion and I've even dealt with some young girls at the check in desk that were kinda rude and wouldn't answer a simple question or call someone that could. Glad I switched to a new doctor

Definitely not the best and could do a lot better. Translators are rude and quick to the point that we can not ask questions after. Also, they take a while giving your requests, I asked for counseling and they finally gave me one after 4 months when I already had one in Greenville because pediatrics was talking too long. I could've did something to myself during those 4 months.
They also gave me a wrong appointment. Some of the nurses are also careless and make sly comments to their patients. For example, one of my friends was having their yearly check up and the nurse kept asking my friend if they were anorexic which is not acceptable, especially since they were just a teenager.

I have always had good experiences with Washington Pediatrics but I had to take my little girl in today for an ear infection and it was the worst experience I've ever had. We saw Mark Karpinski and he was rude and talked to me like I was absolutely stupid. He would ask me questions and then interrupt me before I could even finish answering them and then was rushing out of the door before I could ask my questions! I will definitely ask to never see him again.

I've had an amazing experience here so far. after the initial records transfer experience. Everyone there has been kind and down to earth and the doctors even listen to what I'm saying. I don't think I've ever felt this great about my kids doctor before I moved down here. Previously going to a sub-practice of a renowned affiliated hospital, I was nervous about the doctors and the treatment and care we would all get. So thank you, and keep up the amazing job you all do.

Absolute horrible place to send your child! My 3 month old son has been going there since birth and has so many problems! He was diagnosed with reflux and given medicine, after a month I called and said it needed to be increased and they said they couldnt. He had breathing problems and started habing episodes of not breathing and turning red. After just showing up they doubled his reflux medicine and saud he was perfectly fine.
I took him to a new pediatrician who changed reflux medicine to something stronger (something they said the could not do), diagnosed him with RSV and gave him a nebulizer for his breathing. If he does not get any better he will have to be admitted to the hospital because of struggling so hard to breath for the past 3 months. Now why they did not see this ill never know! Not to mention in all of his 10 or so visits, he never saw the same dr twice! So livid with this pediatrician and would NEVER refer anyone to go to them!

I requested to have records transferred on my son to eastern pediatrics after calling with concerns of my sons breathing to ask for a pediatric pulmonologist referral which they wouldn't give me. I'm a nurse and they act like I don't know what I'm talking about when I call about concerns about how his breathing sounds. Also when I asked to transfer records they went ahead and cancelled his appt for the following Monday without contacting me for his 6 month check up and they lady in medical records was rude.
I asked to speak with office manager or assistant manager and no one was there. This office is rude, they Dont give you updates on appt changes, they don't make follow up appointments to check up on symptoms. Wish Washington had another pediatric office!

If i could give 0 star's i would. The staff up front is an absolute mess. I'm surprised they haven't fired most of them especially the Hispanic lady. I have never in my life met such rude people. I'm not sure if they hate their job or life? No respect towards the patient. The next time i get disrespected will be the absolute last. I have had doctor's make my children cry, i have had front staff ignore me as I'm in front of them, question my judgment on my children's sickness. I don't recommend this office to anyone.

The receptionist could've been kinder and more professional in telling me that Dr. Cook would not see me because I arrived 10 minutes late for my toddlers appointment due to NC rain. I came in with one my 2yr old, as my husband was getting out of the car with my 12 month old, signed in for 2:01 (appointment time 1:50) and sat in the waiting room for a littler over 5 minutes.
The receptionist calls me up to the desk to tell me she has to check if the doctor could still see me. Maybe she took another patient, understandable even though I'm the only one in the waiting room. I'm willing to wait, after all I did haul my entire family here in the rain to make this appointment that we desperately need due to overdue vaccinations.
The receptionist picks up the phone makes a phone call and then starts what seems to be a personal conversation due to the giggling and laughing which I deemed very unprofessional, all while I'm still at the desk waiting for an answer awkwardly looking at her. Very disrespectful. I took a seat because she obviously needed to talk more about her day.
She calls me back up and tells me the doctor won't see me today. In my head I'm thinking 'For 10 minutes! In the rain! After the extra time it took for you on the phone!. Then she tells me I can come back on January 31st, a month and a half from now for an appointment that I just waited 3 months for. At this point I just start tearing because I feel defeated.
Especially because this doctor seemed like a woman who wouldn't go above and beyond for her patients and I was supposed to trust her with my child's health and wellbeing. I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because the nurses were fantastic with my youngest child at his appointment (which was the next day because they have a policy of not booking siblings on the same day which is ridiculously inconvenient). BTW they gave my two boys different doctors WTH! I will update to see how our next appointment goes.
