Services
Glendale Pediatrics initially opened in downtown Glendale, CA in 1989. We have been in our current location in the Lee Hughes Medical Building, across from the Glendale Adventist Emergency Department since 2012. We understand occasional circumstances prevent you from keeping your scheduled appointment. Please notify our office in advance if you are running late or a minimum of 24 hours prior to your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Telemedicine lends itself well to visits that don't require much of a physical exam. Some visits are more appropriate for an in-person visit. In the event that your child has a rash or something visible on the skin, we will ask that you take photos with your phone and upload them to the portal prior to the visit.
Is your child ill or having an issue that you're not sure how to address? If you're still not sure what to do, please contact our office. If it's non-urgent, please call our triage nurses during regular office hours. We always have a physician available to answer urgent questions that can't wait until the morning.
Choosing the right pediatrician for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make. By selecting Glendale Pediatrics, you can feel confident and comfortable that you have made the right decision. We are located in Glendale near the 134/2 interchange, near the emergency room at Adventist Health Glendale.

100% recommend this place to anyone who asks for pediatrician recommendations. I think very highly of them and I am not just a mom but a medical professional as well. They are timely, efficient, understanding, responsive, to parents and healthcare providers alike! While Dr. Bursch is our favorite you can't go wrong with any of the doctors here, from the most senior to the most junior. My kiddos and the parents I know that go here are treated with the most respect and I love that!

My family has been a patient of Glendale Pediatrics since 2013 and have had exceptional services provided for us. Sure there have been times I've had to wait, but that has happen no more than 4 times. Also the doctors take their time with each patient, not once have I felt rushed out or hurried. I appreciate their genuine care and attentiveness toward us.
Since we have been with Glendale Pediatrics for several years now we have met with most of the doctors, even though we do consider one of them our primary, we have been grateful for the other doctors who have been available to see us right away. Highly recommend!

I was interested in finding a long term ped for my 6 month old son. a couple friends of mine recommended Dr. Saavedra. I wanted to ask her a few questions about her stance on sleep training, solids, view on breastfeeding & nutrition etc to make sure we would we would be the same page. it's not out of the ordinary to interview a pediatrician however the front office told me i could "look her up online" and that they "don't do that". SO impersonal!

What would I do without Glendale Pediatrics? Their depth of knowledge and kindness has been crucial during the first year of my son's life. They helped me out and know what a mama needs. But they also know exactly what my baby needs. Thank you for such high standard of care that I'm not sure if I'll find anywhere else.

I'm super surprised at the negative reviews. We've been coming to Glendale peds for 6 years with two kids and have had nothing but amazing experiences. We've seen nearly every doctor in their practice and had great experiences with all of them. We even keep a PPO vs a much cheaper HMO, specifically so we can keep sending our kids here.
I appreciated all the doctors counsel when I had newborns - got me through some tough times. And I've referred people here who've reached out to thank me for recommending Glendale peds. Sometimes you do have to wait but I always appreciate the amount of time the docs are willing to spend with me. I've never felt rushed. There are few recommendations I give as emphatically as Glendale peds.

Glendale pediatrics is the very best pediatric office! My son has had a number of medical challenges - unfailingly the doctors and nurses have been fantastic in helping us through every issue. They are incredibly caring, will spend as much time we need answering our questions, explaining treatments and developmental topics at every wellness check or sick appointment. Dr. Henry is our primary - he is an incredible doctor and I feel much more confident as a parent with his guidance.
We have also seen most of the other doctors in the practice for urgent appointments and they are all excellent. They have very knowledgeable and kind nurses that are available by phone during office hours to answer any questions we have - such a great resource. When our child is sick or injured, the nurses always call a day or so after we have visited or spoken with an on call doc to see how they are recovering.
Incredible service - I wish my doctors cared enough to check up on me when I'm unwell! Having Glendale Pediatrics in the Children's Hospital network is a great benefit for continuity of care between them and ER or specialist visits. I cannot say enough good things about the practice, and can't wait to have our second child under their care. I know many families have been with them for decades, that's how we first heard about them, and I'm sure we will be one of those families! Thank you to everyone at Glendale Pediatrics for taking care of my family, we couldn't do it without you all!

The entire office from front desk to nurses to the doctors are gems. We've been with them for 24 years (oldest graduated, middle is about to, youngest has a few more years) and they have had amazing staff retention. My 3 sons have been with Dr Feuille their entire lives. He is so knowledgeable, attentive and caring. He has always been spot on and gives us options when available and tells it like it is when there shouldn't be an option.
He always asks about self checks for teens and mental health for all ages. His communication with us has always been incredible, especially considering how many patients he sees. He even called us on a Saturday when there was important testing being done so we didn't have to anxiously wait until Monday for results. Their after hours call back service is fantastic.
There is an emergency and non-emergency number. For emergencies, the online doctor will call you back within 30 min. That's the number we called a few times over the past 24 years we've been with Glendale Pediatrics to find out if it's an emergency room situation or if could wait until the morning. For situations that could wait, they've given us appointments first thing the next morning.
They don't take walk ins (otherwise it would be unmanageable and scheduled patients would have to wait extra long), but they always leave open slots in their schedules for emergencies and they have a separate sick room check in so you don't have to worry about catching anything during a well child visit. Billing, accessing records, and communication are super easy with their new online patient portal.

We love Dr. Henry, so this review is on office management and the front desk. This office is terribly run. Our average wait time is an hour between the lobby and exam room - consistently. These are children (some of them are sick!) who are made to wait a long time because adults can't do their jobs right. The front desk staff is rude, and in reading the other reviews, I'm not alone.
So now I'm appalled that the doctors would allow this staff to represent their brand. There are major systemic issues in that office that I accepted for over 10 years because we love Dr. Henry, but it got worse and we just couldn't tolerate it any longer and left. For everyone who loves the doctors but hate the staff, would you eat a filet mignon off a trash can lid?

I love the doctors hate the front desk staff. This review is for the staff and I hope Glendale Peds works on improving their staff because they've been rude and not even attempt to be accommodating or act empathetic to situations. I clearly remember scheduling an appointment with my normal pediatrician for my daughter only to get a text that it's with a different doctor.
When they called to confirm and asked about why it was with another doctor they stated I was told this because our regular doctor wasn't available until October - for the record I was not told that because otherwise I would have scheduled with another female pediatrician. I tried to see if I could schedule with anyone else to which they told me no other female doctor was available until mid September.
At this point I am already upset and unhappy, to the point the point I have no choice but to accept to which she just confirmed and hung up. I get you're a doctors office but even some form of empathy or ownership of miscommunication on their end too would have been appreciative but it was just like a cold call. I hate that I put up with it because I love our doctors.

The staff is always so nice to my toddler. I love the fact that they care so much about their patients that they have a well room and a sick room. I had not picked a pediatrician for my daughter when she was born but in comes Dr. Bursch. The way he answered all my new mom questions and never once made me feel dumb. I told my husband this is my daughters doctor.
I had to make sure my insurance would take him. I switched my insurance even if I had to pay more I didn't care. He has been my daughter dr for the last 2 years. He always tells you the truth and is always giving you advice based on the history of your kid. When he isn't around the other Dr are also very nice and knowledgeable. I would be willing to pay for better insurance to make sure my daughter has this level of care. Thank you Glendale Pediatrics.

I really love doctors here. They are really nice and professional. They will take their time to explain and listen, and give an advise. At 5 am we call to the emergency line. They contacted us less than 20 min and they did video call with my son. They are really good! thank you everyone in this office.

We left here two years ago, and thank god we did! Discovered that my daughter has had an ongoing underlying issue for years and needs to have surgery we never would have known unless we had left the incompetency of Glendale Pediatrics. I cannot stress enough DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE! Unless you're on medicaid or an HMO and this is unfortunately, your only option -- for all parents for your sanity and your child's well being please find a better pediatric clinic.
We saw every doctor at Glendale Pediatrics and they all seemed like they were intellectually challenged or suffered some bi-polar disordered- for the pediatricians that were assigned to my children they were never available and I never saw them-that should tell you all you need to know!

Dr. Henry is an amazing pediatrician. But what happened to the rest of the staff? Why are the nurses so mean? Why do they ask you to undress your newborn and make them wait in the cold exam room for 45 minutes before the doctor arrives? Why do they call you to tell you there's been a cancellation and come early and only to tell you once you've arrived that it's not in the system? It makes me wonder. Is it me? Did I do something to offend someone? I guess this is just one of this indignities of being a parent no one tells you about.

I've had a positive experience here with ever doctor we have seen. We especially love Dr. Heur. All the doctors take their time with your visit and really educate you on what's best for your kids. Dr. Heur has been so amazing with both my kids. I also like how they have a separate section and entrance for well kids and sick kids.

This office has to be the WORSE peds ever! Management definitely needs to reevaluate every single girl working at the front office! There's absolutely no compassion or professionalism from the staff. I transferred my baby to another peds office this morning. Please believe these reviews, I didn't until I experienced it myself. Discriminating/Raciest office! I would fire every single on of them ASAP! Don't go here for the safety and well being of your child.

I would like to warn all parents that go here to chose another Pediatricians office. This office is incredibly rude, unprofessional, and extremely lacking in their compassion. This poor rating is especially for Brenda Hernandez at the front desk. She is suppose to be the representation of all the good and kindness this office should exemplify but instead she shows poor communication and inappropriate behavior.
She should not be speaking Spanish with her coworkers while patients are present and waiting patiently to be seen by professionals. We all know some patients are there to see different physicians or just have nurse appointments for shots but this does not give staff the authority to chose who she can and cannot send in right away and discriminate.
As far as the nurses go after administering vaccines should help console the crying baby and ask the parents if there is anything she can do before so neglects her duties and storms out of the room leaving the baby to cry. Where is the nurturing compassion that your nurses should naturally carry especially while working with babies and children. Very disappointed and will not be recommending any family members here.
Also to mention one of the other receptionist also had stated for a parent to go and "stand in the corner" this was her wording to show how they implement their social distancing rules which came off especially sarcastic. Educate your staff on what it means to have compassion and customer service skills this does not seem to be the right fit for them.

I've brought my three kids to this practice since 2003. All the doctors are wonderful and caring. Their facility is clean and cute. My son have had Dr. Henry since his birth. He is a fun loving caring doctor, so glad to have found him. We will miss him very much when my son no longer see him. Dr. Fabris is another doctor that my daughters see. She is very sweet and caring doctor. My daughters have trusted and loved her over the years. We will miss her too when they no longer see her.

I have attempted to make a payment of $63 for the last few days. The office line keeps saying the office is closed during hours of operation. I got a hold one time of a woman in the business department, provided her with all information she needed and she couldn't find any info and took forever on the phone. Mind you, I am a new mom and don't have the luxury of calling an office 7x to make a payment.
The woman left me on hold and when I tried to call back 3x right away she let my call go straight to voicemail again. So I still have not been able to make a payment. I prefer to pay online but their instructions make you call first to set up a patient portal. Guess, I can't do by phone or online. Horrible service from the business office. Would never recommend this group to any new moms. Not worth the hassle and frustration.

This place is the worst! Do not bring your children here! Incompetent nurses and front office staff. You can never ever speak to a docotr when you call and you can never reach the nurses you get their voicemail and will have to hope you are near the phone whenever they are able to call you back from 30 minutes to 7 hours. Who knows? There is no continuity with doctors.
It is also terrible should you need to bring your child in for a sick visit- We have waited hours and hours to be seen. It's an embarassment to the pediatric profession. Avoid Glendale Pediatrics like the plague!

We were given horrible medical advice from Dr. Iyer and we will never go back. We took our 2 week old baby for his first visit with a local pediatrician (he was born out of state and had seen other pediatricians there.) He was 9lbs and Dr Iyer told us he was overweight and that we needed to reduce his intake significantly. As brand new parents, we were very concerned; worried that we were over feeding or setting him up for an eating disorder or something. So, that night we tried cutting down his food. Needless to say, he cried and cried because he was hungry!
It was devastating. The next morning we had a meeting with a professional who works with babies and she was very concerned, and said she had never heard of restricting food for a newborn. We also asked a friend who is an ER pediatrician and he said the advice we got from Dr Iyer was "bananas." Our new pediatrician was also APPALLED by another Dr telling new parents to restrict their newborn's food.
I cannot imagine what would make Dr Iyer tell us that our 9 lb baby was too large and to basically put him on a diet. It seems like her medical philosophy is outdated and potentially dangerous. All other medical and child professionals I have asked have said, emphatically, that you feed a newborn on demand. Our current pediatrician is very pleased with how our baby is growing. He's healthy and happy, no thanks to Glendale Pediatrics. And, to echo other reviewers, the office staff sucks.
When I called to cancel the follow up appointment that we made at the end of our first appointment, they had absolutely no interest in knowing why we were going to take our business elsewhere. You'd think would want feedback from patients, but nope. If they had let me explain our reasoning to them directly, I wouldn't have written this review, but they left me no other option.

We picked a doctor here from a recommendation from my wife's obstetrician. When my son was born, Dr. Fan visited my son at Glendale Adventist. She was kind, gentle, and caring with my son. My son's first office visit was with Dr. Bursch. He was very friendly with a great sense of humor, something that lightens up a doctor visit. We all know that we get sometimes get nervous visiting doctors. Dr. Bursch performed my son's examination with great skill, all the while providing my wife and I very useful information.
A week and a half later, our son was back at Glendale Pediatrics for his circumcision. To be honest, I was nervous about this even though the procedure wasn't being done on myself. We once again met Dr. Fan and she put my mind at ease as she explained in great detail how the procedure was going to work. My wife and I chose to stay in the room while the procedure was performed and we had zero worries about our son being in Dr. Fan's hands.
After what seemed like an hour (it honestly was probably more like 10-15 mins), our son was returned to us and was examined one more time by Dr. Fan. She explained in great detail the aftercare for our son's procedure. Her calm demeanor is priceless when you're worried about the well being of your child. The staff has been nothing more than helpful and friendly during our two office visits. I will be choosing a pediatrician at Glendale Pediatrics for my two daughters as well.
