Friendly local office that treats you like an extended family. Some things aren't so modern(no emails, paper mail billings) but it's a welcoming and reliable practice. Appreciate their amazing service the past 3 years. Definitely breathing much better thanks to the immunotherapy. It's a true life saver. Enabled me to maintain an active lifestyle.

I saw Dr. Gupta 12/12/18 because I thought I might have developed a shellfish allergy. I had seen him several years ago for allergy testing for a tree nut allergy I had developed. When I saw him this visit, during the "consultation" I had to recap my previous visit/testing/results (I guess they no longer had my file), and I explained to him that I had a severe allergy to cashews, have had several reactions since being diagnosed, and the last two reactions landed me in the ER.
We continued discussing the purpose for this visit and he said he would just run a full allergy prick test. He asked if I wanted to be tested for nuts, and I told him I did not (anyone with allergies knows that the more times you are exposed, the more severe your reactions will be). His nurse did the test, and during I could tell I was having a reaction to something.
When he came back in after to assess my reactions, he said that I had in fact been tested for cashews because he "forgot to tell his nurse not to test me"! And he wasn't the least bit apologetic or concerned. On the drive home my tongue, mouth, and lips started itching so I ended up having to take Benedryl. I can't believe how careless he could be when he knew a patient had a severe nut allergy.
My bill came at the beginning of February and I paid it, knowing full well I would never go back to him again. Fast forward to the beginning of July (SIX MONTHS after my visit) and I received ANOTHER bill for $50. Apparently, his staff is just as careless as he is because they hadn't initially billed me for my full visit. It's irritating enough to get a bill so long after a visit, but when you received such poor treatment, it's even worse. And they had the nerve to write "Please pay ASAP" on it as if it wasn't their own fault that the bill was outstanding.

Dr. Gupta has been my primary Dr for the last ten years. Staff is always kind and courteous. Dr Gupta is extremely patient and knowledgeable. Appointments are always prompt. They schedule appropriately and I always seem to be able to book a same day when necessary. I will continue to see Dr Gupta as long he will have me.

I've been a patient of Dr. Gupta for over a year for my debilitating allergies. From a treatment perspective, I can truly say that I now feel great. I find Dr. Gupta to be a very pleasant, humble, yet tremendously knowledgeable physician. He has been very attentive and thorough in my care. His office staff is also very personable and warm. Since I go in for shots once every two weeks, they have certainly become a very pleasant part of my life.
Although I only have two thumbs (on my hands), I don't hesitate to give this practice a clear three thumbs up! Don't wait one day longer if you need to be seen for allergies. Give Dr. Gupta's office a call.

I was referred to Dr. Gupta by my primary care physician. I had trouble finding their office and called to let them know that not only would I be a couple minutes late, but that I needed some help finding them. The receptionist was incredibly rude, and when asked said she did not know if the building she worked in was on the North or South side of the street.
Despite this bizarre response, I asked her if they were East or West of a nearby Jiffylube (turns out they were three buildings East), she replied in these exact words: "I don't make it a habit of memorizing oil change places". So after receiving ZERO help from her I eventually found the office. The Nurse/Dr's assistant was very pleasant.
But the incomparable & shocking rudeness of his receptionist continued. I had not yet put my new insurance card in my wallet, and so did not have it on me. So she refused to process any of my paperwork without a fax of my insurance card. Which she wanted my wife to do at that very moment. Because no one has anything better to do than deal with this woman's snide attitude and unhelpful behavior.
My not having my insurance card is entirely beside the point, as it could've been sorted out later. I've been to MANY different doctor's offices, dentists, specialists, etc etc, and I've NEVER encountered someone so rude and so committed to driving away new patients. Which is exactly what happened, as I walked out without even seeing Dr. Gupta.

Dr. Gupta has been our family physician for many years. He really listens to our concerns and is an excellent diagnostician. I like that he does not overreact. He is good at explaining medical conditions and treatment options. His office staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend his practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gupta since 1990. He is very patient and caring and never gives you the rush job out the door. Appointments are easy to make and he will even see you same day if you are sick. In the early years with him, sometimes I would get a second opinion about a diagnosis. I no longer do this because he is always spot on. Now, if he tells me it's Easter, I start coloring my eggs! Dr. Gupta practices the kind of medicine that is hard to find these days. Caring, compassionate and competant.
In 2008, I moved 45 miles north of his office. I make the 90 mile round trip to see him for my annual physical and when I'm sick because I trust him and don't think I could find a better doctor! I highly recommend Dr. Gupta. Melvin J. Chikato, Acton, California.
