What a rip off Hidden fees I will never recommend this doctor to anyone I know This doctor was my ob/gyn when I was pregnant. I recieved a letter from their office saying I owe them $260 I called them and asked them for extension because it was during the pandemic. I was told not to worry and I have time to pay. Then I recieved a letter within 2 weeks of that phone call I had made that I owe them $380 or so.

I called the office and I was told they had never said I have time to pay. I have called them numerous times for them to send me the original statement so I can make the original payment of what I owed them. Its been a year. I never heard back from them and NOW I recieved an email saying I owe them almost $600. I will not let this doctor make extra money off of me. I WILL NOT PAY THIS DOCTOR $600 SEND ME THE ORIGINAL STATEMENT, SO I CAN MAKE MY ORIGINAL PAYMENT

IT's almost TWO years I'm not going to this office and on March 2022 they send me a bill for your recent visit! How many time charge a patient for a visit? At 2020 I went there by insurance and the front desk Arpi said because my insurance has deductible I have to pay the full amount ( like a cash patient ) on front and then wait for the refund from billing, so the office charge my credit or debit card AND my insurance, so at the end of the year instead of 813.76$ the billing office sent me a check of near to 500$, the funny thing they negotiated to give the money back ( just few example how they did; for the visit that I paid 138.16 in office, I had to pay just 6 dollars after insurance!

For a visit that I paid near to 240$ I had to pay 17.30 and many others like this) you can send me bills as much as you want but I'm not gonna pay even a penny! Not recommending, be careful everyone, watch your pocket and insurance because this is a routine for this office, there are many good other doctors with clear billing system.

Dr. Tahery was recommended to me by a friend and I am very happy he was. I had a few complicated issues, however he always took the time to address any of my questions and concerns. During my surgery, there was a minor complication however Dr. Tahery was incredible at handling the situation and reassuring my husband that everything was under control.

His professionalism and superb knowledge was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend Dr. Tahery! I would also like to thank his wonderful office staff, specifically Arpi for always keeping me up to date in regards to my surgery date and any other issues that arose!

Dr. Tahery, is a really good doctor but the office policy has unprofessional manners. After being a patient for many months, I have been informed the day prior to my next visit (scheduled months ago) that my insurance was no longer part of their network. Those things happen but it would have been professional to notify the patient before it takes effect.

As a matter of fact, I was in a middle of a treatment and needed a follow up visit with the doctor. Now I am offered to pay through my out of network deductible or cash to meet the doctor one last time. Nobody is willing to help, they just keep repeating it is the policy. I have asked to speak with the Doctor and I am just being ignored. I can only imagine what it would be like for a pregnant woman to be told a month prior giving birth sorry your doctor is now out of network. pay cash. Be careful.

Michael Tahery is a good doctor, however The quality of the practice has been slipping in the past year or so. If you make an appointment, expect to spend at least 2 hours at the office. And 1 hour 45 mins of that being your wait time.it's bad practice and I've heard the nurses even say that they triple book causing patients to wait such crazy long wait times.

I went for very basic checkups. I went over with the nurses, dr. taheri, and reception multiple times that I only want check ups that is covered by insurance. He said okay, but couple months later got a bill for over $4000. I also made sure multiple times with the reception when I was paying my deductible (odd since I had met my deductible prior to my visit) that I wouldn't have to make further payments which was a lie.

I paid at least $500 more after my deductible payment. After incessant attempts to get to the bottom of what the $4000 bill was, I found out it was because his office had filed my visit under his other office. The claim for this bill is still unresolved, and not due to the lack of trying. Their office has been extremely strange and difficult in every interaction. It's been two years. Avoid going to this establishment if you wish to avoid years long headaches

If I can give him more than 5 stars I would! After finding out I was pregnant I began the search for my OBGYN. I came across Dr. Tahery's office after searching on google. I immediately felt like he would be the perfect doctor to go to. From the very first visit all of the office staff was super friendly and helpful. Dr. Tahery was amazing! He was always so friendly and made sure to answer any and all questions we had.

I came across a few complications during my pregnancy but Dr. Tahery was always there to find a solution and give me comfort. We overcame all the obstacles with his help and delivered my baby via C-Section. Being that it was my first C-Section I was very nervous but Dr. Tahery was able to give me comfort and trust by answering all of my questions regarding the procedure.

He did such an amazing job with the procedure that I am so surprised you can hardly tell I have the incision there! I'm so thankful for all of his help and all of the staffs help as well.

I am disgusted by this doctor. I brought my daughter in for a procedure and he gave her the worst advice on which route she should take. Other doctors that i spoke to afterwards were confused by his takes. Now my child is suffering from blood clots and has been bleeding severely for a month and has now developed Anemia. Black people, i advise you to find black doctors who care about your health and well being. Dr tahery always seemed like he was in a rush while speaking to my daughter and showed not one ounce of care for her. Please take your business elsewhere if you were considering treating serious medical issues.

Avoid this office. They just overcharge you over and over again and if you don't follow up with them they will never reimburse you. All they say is it's office policy to collect all fees upfront but they forget that it should be office policy to reimburse clients because they get paid from the insurance companies. Never ever use them. They overcharged my friend $3500 and after her fighting with them for months they reimbursed her. Avoid this Drs office if you don't want to get ripped off.

I've been seeing Dr. Tahery for a few years now and I've had an excellent experience. He is patient, thorough, and truly wants to make sure you're comfortable and as healthy as possible. His staff is always very kind as well. I've never had a bad visit, and I always leave feeling supported as a patient/client.

Throughout my journey with Dr. Tahery I have felt very confident and safe to be under his care. I have went to numerous doctors and I have never met anyone who is as professional and knowledgeable as him. As a registered nurse I have encountered many physicians during my career, but no one has been like Dr. Tahery. Dr. Tahery is able to properly diagnose and treat his patients.

My experience with Dr. Tahery has been exceptional. He has gone above and beyond my expectations. He is such a caring human being, and most importantly I do not feel rushed when I am at my appointments. He is the only physician who has not mentioned IUI or IVF as my only option for conceiving. He has always provided hope and faith to my husband and I that we can naturally conceive.

He has incredible bedside manners, and patience. I recently had a concerning question and I called him on a Sunday afternoon and he actually picked up my call and spoke to me in such a respectful kind manner. He has even gone out of his way and spoke to the emergency room doctor at 11 PM when I went to the emergency room. I have never in my life expected that I would have such a great caring physician taking care of me and my baby.

I feel so lucky and grateful that I have him as my physician. If you want a lifelong physician who's going to care for you, and provide you the highest level of quality care you should make an appointment with Dr. Tahery he has changed my life and my husband's life for the better. Every appointment we go to we leave extremely satisfied and grateful!

Dr. Tahery is my OB and was recommended by my friend and I'm sure glad he was. He is a great doctor-- possessing superb expertise, wonderful bedside manner and true care for this patients. On top of that, he performed an amazing C-section with a small scar, and a good circumcision, I.e. he is also a talented surgeon. His staff is also one of the best medical staff I've had the pleasure of working with - so organized, friendly, and good at their jobs. I'm so glad I picked him and would recommend him to others as well anytime.

The added bonus is his patients give birth at Cedars Sinani, one of the best hospitals in the nation, and which, for me, was a great experience. In sum, one of the best doctors I have had.

Incredible doctor, honest, kind, and extremely knowledgeable! Each and every member of his staff are simply amazing. I have been his patient for a decade now and I can honestly say, he is the best OBGYN anyone can have.

Do not go to this doctor! They are not friendly and they just want to charge patients for unnecessary expensive services like ultrasound and if you ask them to get the result they will give you something with no details!

Was recently telling a friend about my experience and she insisted that I add to this review. Without explaining why it is necessary, the doctor does perform ultrasounds before you can give your consent/choose to opt out/ask why you need it. This includes transvaginal. Having something quickly inserted vaginally without warning can feel jarring and, for some people, even violating.

I'm posting this on Yelp because I want to warn other potential patients. I have posted this Google review more than 3 times in the past few months, and it is always immediately removed. I don't know what's worse.the abuse their office but me through, OR the fact that they have someone removing all of their negative reviews. They have now been refusing to transfer any of my medical records.

They have been contacted by: my new doctor, me personally as the patient, as well as my lawyer. Still nothing. This started in December. Chose your providers carefully or you will end up like myself.

Dr. Tahery is one of the kindest, smartest, caring and knowledgeable doctors I have ever met! For months I did research on finding the best gynecologist. After going to multiple gynecologists, I am extremely happy that I chose Dr. Tahery, he is a Gem! Dr. Tahery delivered my third baby recently, he is so professional and highly educated. He took great care of me during the 9 months of my pregnancy and especially at delivery. I have a healthy baby boy. Thank you Dr. Tahery, you truly are the BEST! Arpi

Staff was being very unprofessional and rude. They made me very uncomfortable. People like them shouldn't even be working in the healthcare industry. I won't be coming back there ever again. For them they have to know who to bill insurance, which is very basic thing to do in doctor office, and why it takes 6 months claims goes insurance.

I do not have enough kind words to share about Dr. Tahery. Dr. Tahery makes your healthcare visit a personal experience and not just another hurried doctor's appointment. He is kind, compassionate, and patient and takes the time to address my concerns, no matter how big or small they may seem. I truly wish I could have Dr. Tahery as my "everything doctor." I feel blessed that he took such wonderful care of me with my pregnancy and was the person to bring my beautiful girl into this world. It was truly an HONOR to call him my doctor and to have him share in such special memory in our lives.

Dr. Tahery is an amazing doctor. I truly can't say enough of his care, knowledge, profession and manner. His staff are so nice and caring. Everyone here makes you feel comfortable.

Dr Tahery has now been my doctor for all 3 of my pregnancies. All 3 of my children have been delivered personally by him and I never doubted his care. Even at 4am with just minutes to spare he arrived just in time to keep me at ease and deliver my son keeping my spirits up throughout.

Wow, wow, wow! It has not been easy for me to find a gynecologist that TRULY understands my concerns and is able to address all of my questions. It's evident this doctor has an affinity for what he does and that's exactly what makes him a phenomenal doctor. I've had horrific experiences with past gynecologists and so upon arrival, I was beyond nervous.

He is organized, he is kind and he does not rush you. Dr. Tahery, thank you for making me feel so comfortable. I left your office happy and at ease. Also, my utter gratitude for your kind and professional staff. They're absolutely great. Ladies, if you are seeking a professional who is educated but answers all of your questions, he is the right person for you.

For the AMAZING service that he provides, the costs are reasonable, the wait time is appropriate and the facility is extremely clean as I observed (I did not see anything that alarmed me in regards to sanitation, or lack thereof).

I have been Dr. Tahery's patient for a while. I have been impressed by his knowledge, professionalism, and care. I am so grateful! Moreover, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for his professional, caring, and kind staff. Much appreciated. Dr. Tahery has my highest recommendation.

I did indeed end up calling back the office to cancel my appointment. When I did the lady who answered said she couldn't find me on the calendar. Then said she'd continue to work on it and cancel. Lo and behold a day before my appointment I still get a text reminder, so I'm guessing I was never removed from the calendar I was never on?

Dr Tahery has been my dr for almost a year, when i realized i am pregnant with my first baby. I chose him based on his remarkable reviews on different websites, but i have to say he is even better than what i was expecting. He is very passionate about what he is doing. His bedside manner is amazing, and i never felt uncomfortable during my visits.

He always answered to my questions and concerns patiently, even to the silly ones. He made me feel comfortable during my pregnancy, and i went through it without any stress. I had my daughter via C section, and i was able to get back to my normal life 4 days post surgery. Thank to dr Tahery my baby is healthy and i am very happy with my pregnancy journey. I fully recommend dr Tahery and his office girls to any lady seeking professional care.

I recently saw Dr. Tahery for the first time and had three negative experiences as a result: First, during our consultation, he incorrectly stated that Xanax is not an anti-anxiety drug, which it IS, and that it's a narcotic - which it's NOT. So that caused me to question his medical knowledge, and, frankly, his apparent bias against using medication to treat mental health conditions, which was utterly unnecessary given what I was there for. Second, his office charged me up front for an ultrasound, lab work, and medication they provided - not through a pharmacy, which seemed super sketchy - all at higher amounts than my insurance company said I should have paid.

Have never had this happen with any other in-network healthcare provider, which I confirmed that he is. Lastly, this appointment was three weeks ago, with no word regarding the lab results from my appointment. When I called today to follow up, I learned that (a) all the results were fine, so they didn't bother to call or send me anything (which they said is their protocol, though no one bothered to tell me that at the time of my appt) and (b) I'd actually been misdiagnosed during my visit, so I was told I needed (and paid for, and took) medication that I DID NOT need. Three big strikes, you're out. I won't be going back here, ever.
