Dr. Bodie is certified to practice by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Pediatrics. He trained in dermatology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. In July of 1980, Dr. Fred Bodie founded his practice of general and aesthetic dermatology in the beautiful oak tree covered area of Springhill in Mobile, Alabama. In 2019, Dr. Bodie joined USA Health Dermatology.

I called before making my appointment to see if they accepted my specific insurance and they told me yes, made me an appointment and told me everything I needed to bring. When I get there the day of my appointment, they tell me they don't accept my insurance which is Tricare (military insurance). A complete waste of time and very unprofessional!

I drove 2 1/2 hours from FL for my appointment with Dr Bodie. It was worth the trip back to Mobile. Dr Bodie addressed my issues in an informative and concise manner. I did not feel I was being "rushed" through the process. I found the entire staff to be very pleasant and accommodating, as well. I will be back.
