At the Vascular Center, we focus on diagnosing and treating artery and vein disorders. Our full-service vascular surgery and endovascular care include advanced, minimally invasive procedures to meet all of your vascular needs. For more than 30 years, the Vascular Center of Mobile has served the Greater Mobile area as a full-service vascular surgery and endovascular care practice.
The Vascular Center offers decades of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease. Our team utilizes technology such as intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) to properly diagnose and subsequently treat all forms of vascular disease. We specialize in minimally invasive techniques in order to provide a more affordable and less time-consuming option for patients. Our goal is to provide a more comfortable and personal experience vs. a hospital setting.
Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) results from a progressive thickening of an artery's lining caused by a buildup of plaque, which narrows or blocks blood flow, reducing the circulation of the blood to a specific organ or region of the body. This can also be caused by a hardening and narrowing of the arteries, called stenosis.
Carotid artery disease occurs when fatty deposits (plaques) clog the blood vessels that deliver blood to your brain and head (carotid arteries). The blockage increases your risk of stroke, a medical emergency that occurs when the blood supply to the brain is interrupted or seriously reduced. Treatment for carotid artery disease is necessary to reduce the possibility of stroke or recurrence of stroke.

It takes a group effort in order to make someone feel at ease. This center nail it with a capital N. Let me give you a few examples. 1. Respectful (They welcome you at the front desk) 2. Efficiency ( They try there best to get you in & out.) 3. Professional ( They don't just diagnosis, they explain.) 4. Environment ( This one was very important to me because when you hear a little laughter from engaging between nurses, patients and Doctor's. It help me relieve a little anxiety. Plus, they fixed my problem. Awesome!
