My review pertains primariliy to the mammography department. Registration was quick and easy. After I checked in, I didn't have to wait long to be taken back. The changing room was lovely. There was a peaceful energy. The radiology specialist was so congenial. Everybody knows there's nothing "pleasant" about a mammogram, but she made me as comfortable as possible and was very patient with me.

She double-checked the images so as to make sure I wouldn't have to come back and have them done again. On the way out, I stopped to ask where the records department was. Instead of making me go there, the nice lady called the department to check on the status of my records request. She even took down my name and number so they could inform me when they arrive. I told her I was new to Wisconsin, and she gave me a very warm welcome. The facilities weren't just clean, they were pristine!

HIRE MORE STAFF! I don't blame the staff, they were overworked and too few but that was hands down the worst hospital experience I've ever had. Pay your staff more, treat them better.

Came to the ER when my water broke in June of 2020. Was shoved into a PEDS room and was told I "probably urinated" myself. All while I was screaming/vomiting from painful contractions. One of the nurses said I was "overreacting" and to "relax, the epidural is coming". After my daughter arrived, maybe a few hours after, I asked if they could bathe her, seeing as I had issues standing. That was a huge inconvenience to them but still bathed her. Avoid this dumpster fire of a hospital if you want quality care.

My Mother just passed away. We are so impressed with the care and service we received both in the ER and during her hospital stay.

Emergency room triage nurse is uncaring as they come. Came in with my 86 year old aunt who is a special needs person suffering from congestive heart failure accompanied by my mother who is her p.o.,a nd who is terminally ill herself. After explaining that her response was" we are all filled up, we will get to you when it's your turn." My suggestion to anyone needing emergency care to drive somewhere else. My veterinarian offers better service. Email me for the address

Took my son to the ER at Beloit Memorial Hospital. He had been throwing up every couple of minutes for hours. We checked in, he had his puke bucket and we waited in wait area to be called. Right after us a couple came in the guy in a wheelchair. He stated he had tested positive for covid but his symptoms were getting worse. So where did they put him? RIGHT IN THE WAITING AREA!

My son was getting increasingly cold and couldn't stop shaking so I requested a heated blanket at the reception area. Was told they would ask a nurse when available. 20 minutes went by - nothing. So a nurse came out from the er to talk to someone about personal stuff so I asked her if she could get me a heated blanket as my son could not stop shivering.

Her response We don't bring heated blankets out to the er waiting area because then everyone would want one. UM OK? So we still sat there, finally a young mom came out of the back with a newborn and said she had been waiting for over an hour and her baby was getting worse that she was taking her elsewhere. By then I had told my son we were going to Janesville.

A week later we received a letter for Sharon Cox who is the Vice President of Beloit Health System apologizing saying the ER was extremely busy, yet nurses could stand around talking. It also stated that if I had any questions or concerns to give her a call. So I called and the secretary who answered the phone said she was on another call and asked what I was calling about.

I told her about the letter and she stated oh we send several of those letters out every day. I left my name and number and said if Sharon wanted to contact me and listen to my complaint I would make myself available. Guess what? She never called. We will NEVER deal with Beloit Health System again, we will drive farter to get quality care as this isn't even bare minimum care.

High heart rate, blood pressure, bad heart, and passing out. They did blood work, told me to call my Doc and kicked me out. I was told they needed the room/bed. Within a hour of leaving. Heart rate and blood pressure were real high, dizzy, and passed out.

Wondering why a 2.5 star rating but as a person married to an employee I now know. With the C-19 virus and my wife double vaccinated and wearing mask contracted the virus from a surgeon from being forced to work under adverse conditions and came home with a terrible experience from covid with a majority of conditions, now the hospital is not taking any responsibility and being off for a month our income might put us on the streets. she applied for unemployment and disability but I believe the hospital is ultimately responsible. Forcing people to work without proper PPE and Forcing people to get vaccinated and finally finding out mask and vaccinated is of no use. PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES FOR BEING OFF WORK FOR YOUR IRRESPONSIBILITY

Janice is an AMAZING phlebotomist. My son has Asperger's and difficult veins to get a blood draw from. She was very kind, supportive, and got it right away on the first try each time! She is truly an angel!

After waiting 12 hours in another hospital's emergency room without being seen, Beloit got me in and took the best care of me! I have a lot of experience with hospitals and I couldn't ask for better care! They were thoughtful with their tests and treatment and I ultimately had emergency surgery and stayed overnight for monitoring. All the nurses, doctors and staff were all rockstars! This team deserves all the respect we can give them! My sincerest thank you!

What a 1st rate cesspool. All we ever hear about is how overwhelmed hospitals are from covid, but when I was there for covid all they did was give me the test and tell me to go home and hide for 10 days. While I was there, I saw very few patients in the emergency room and the only thing going on was a bunch of hanging out and visiting amongst the staff.

Long story short. I had an "emergency "c-section. I went into labor the day before my scheduled c-section, the whole thing was rushed they had the doctor on call do it when my obgyn dr baskar came in the next day he was pretty upset they did not call him and so was i because I did not know I had that option. The lady doctor who did my procedure was knew to Beloit memorial.

She was rude, she hurt me during birth, we stated we wanted my bf to cut the cord he was in the room by my side and they never let him they did it themselves which very much upset us. When my daughter was finally born she was perfectly healthy. They only had her by my face for about 30 seconds then took her. The whole thing was rushed and I definitely have to live with this anger about it for life. I never want to deliver a baby at Beloit memorial again. Just stay away from that place I have so many bad experiences there.

-10 is not enough for this hack job of a hospital. Unless you are bleeding out&cant make it to another facility this should only be a stop to stop the bleeding before demanding to be transfered to a hospital that should'nt be closed for many reasons including malpractice, releasing information without approvan&ignoring the physicians hypocritical oath. All about putting money in the investors pockets, not health care

Staff is always rude. EVERY TIME. In a field that is all about human care I was surprised how terrible the employees treat patients and patients family. Couldn't detect my daughters birth defect luckily we sent else where however we still had to terminate the pregnancy.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR SURGERY IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE/LOVE ONES LIFE. AND DO NOT SEE DOCTOR FRANKLIN LEW! they were ready to send me home internally bleeding after a surgery. The male nurse in the pac unit was extremely rude to me giving me attitude the moment I woke up. When I told him I was in pain basically said I was lying, didn't check my surgical area to make sure Everything was normal/wasn't internal bleeding (i was)and sent me to my room to be discharged.by the time they finally listened to me it had been almost an hour that I was internally bleeding which turned into 2 hours because doctor lew was an hour away.

In my first appointment with him he had said another doctor could also do it. I said no, (I obviously regret that now) and pawned me off to someone for post op before he even did my surgery. which in hindsight makes me realize he wasn't confident enough. I AM TOTALLY BOTCHED. and now have to have them redone. I am furious with the entire situation I COMPLAINED TO THE HOSPITAL ONLY TO FIND OUT EVERYONE RECEIVED A VERBAL WARNING. THERE SHOULD BE A NEGATIVE RATING OPTION

This place is the biggest joke and could not or would take anyone there. The service is terrible and staff are just as bad. If you have issues Noone will help you or care about you or others the people there as their management care about the money they get not you or your health. Some of the doctors don't even have a clue how to let staff or office they are in surgery and they going to be late.

But you as a patient don't stand a chance if you are late they will charge you and make you wait till they have a appointment most of time is over a month out and if doctors are late not a big deal cost many people their time and gas to get there and told the doctor is not there or running late wants you to reschedule the appointment because of there poor service

This would not have been my first choice to have my mom have surgery. The hospital seemed very archaic in terms of overall appearance and equipment. She came on her own to the ER from the walk in. The doctor was very informative but there seems to be no communication between the staff.

Rude, obnoxious delivery room nurses who act annoyed when you ask for an update on a patient. Put yourself in the family's shoes and treat people the way you would want to be treated. Hopefully the next time my family has a baby they chose Janesville or Madison.

I would suggest finding another place to find care. 30 min ER visiting cost $1400 ($800 by the hospital $600 by the doctor). No tests were run. "Insurance" picked up $400. It's a joke. Actually a scam.
