Our mission at The Children's Medical Center is to provide excellent patient care in a compassionate environment. We strive to serve as partners with parents to maintain wellness and develop healthy habits in our youth. We have five offices in the South Carolina upstate area. This distinction is an example of Children's Medical Center's dedication to meeting the needs of the community. We offer a total health experience to children from infant through college. The medical choices you make for your children are critical.
Children's Medical Center has been awarded recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance as a Patient-Centered Medical Home at four of our practices - Greenville, SImpsonville, Powdersville and Greer. The NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) program reflects the input of the American College of Physicians (ACP), American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and others. It was developed to assess whether clinician practices are functioning as medical homes and recognize them for these efforts.
After serving the Upstate for more than 55 years, we have learned how important it is to welcome new families to the area! It is essential to find the right pediatrician to help make sure your child's medical transition is seamless and having the right board-certified pediatrician to partner with you is essential in raising your child to become a healthy adult. We would be honored to be chosen to be a part of your family's life, offering them excellent care with great compassion as they grow.
We at Children's Medical Center would like to congratulate you on your new blessing. This is an exciting time for you and your family as you approach the arrival of your newborn. At Children's Medical Center, we love and appreciate our relationships with our families of newborns. Don't not go here if you have Champ Va or Tricare insurance. Not only did they take months to finally send a bill out but they charged over $200 just per a basic wellness check. They couldn't explain why their billing was so high and were billing us the excess amounts that champ va had already reduced it for!

I took my son in because he had a severe cold and was told he didnt need medicine, he was fine. Refused to do bloodwork, xray, allergy test, and refused to give medications of any kind. The next day! I had to rush my son to the ER for shortness of breath and we are told he had pneumonia. Following up with Dr. Michelle Prigge, the original doctor.this time she is in denial that he was sick."I dont know why they said he has pneumonia"." I cant pull up his charts right now the computer is acting slow"These people can not be trusted to do there job!
Thank God I followed my instincts. This is not the first time I have felt just uncomfortable with the lack of care given. Im sure we were being denied proper care for a specific reason but I can not prove it. low class for a professional to be so careless.

We have not been happy with children's medical center for a while now. It is not the same as it used to be at the old location. We seem to always have an issue. Many doctors are no longer there either. We are disappointed we are going to switch to Parkside Pediatrics after being with Children's medical center for over 9 years.

I see why they have 3 stars in the last year they've become the worst office. They went from 5 to 1 for me. To make the story short, took my daughter with toe pain, was sent for X-ray, came back that it was fracture and they sent me home to wait for a call from ortho. My daughter in pain, couldn't walk. I call after 2 days and when the orthopedic said they haven't received a referral, and the receptionist says" oh you know they have a walk in clinic". Bs!
Why didn't they say that the same day?! That's just one of many bad moments I've had at this office lately. I'll find me another pediatrician for my kids. They quick to send bills to Insurance but not to send and urgent referral!

We have been going to this office for almost 8 years. After a rough start with one of the pediatricians not knowing the correct limits of a newborn screener, we finally found one we loved. Unfortunately he has recently left the practice and they have upset us more than we can count this past year. We are finally in the process of trying to switch doctors.
They show little to no care about their patients and will nickel and dime you for the least little thing out of your mouth. Be prepared to pay premium rates for subpar treatment. Very disappointed in them.

Dr. Hunter Moore is a wonderful, bright, and calm pediatrician. He took great care of my 3yo daughter and newborn son at another practice in town. We are excited to see he is still in town providing exceptional and evidence based care to other little ones in our community. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

We have been coming here since the day my daughter was born (she's 14). Absolutely loved Dr. Parker and Dr. James. They were kind, caring, and sensitive. Unfortunately, one retired and the other moved out of state. Saw Dr. Priggy today and have never felt so mistreated in any doctors' office I've ever been in. She was irritated that the front office scheduled a well visit when we were actually there for a very serious health issue, and she proceeded to fire off questions at me and my daughter like we were being interrogated.
Then she asked me to step out of the room, which I did. When I came back, she lectured me on what I should and shouldn't be doing about a problem she knows nothing about in the 5 minutes she's spent with us. I started crying and asked her to take it down a notch and speak calmly to me, and she said "I don't know what you want from me. I'm not who she (my daughter) needs to see." Then she said she'd do the labs and walked out.
This woman should never be around children, much less kids with serious health concerns. I've never met a doctor with worse bedside manner than Dr. Priggy has. I hate to say that after 14 years, we will be looking for a new practice. But I can't subject myself or my daughter to this kind of thing again.

My son has been coming here for 7 years and we love it! We've had a few mishaps but hey at the end of the day we are all human and sometimes people have a bad day or things get misplaced. Dr. Bass and Mrs. Brandy are awesome and always have my sons best interest in mind! I drive an hour just to be able to let my son go here!

Excellent experience taking my son here.and we have been to many doctors. The office is clean, efficient and very cheery. The staff was extremely friendly, worked hard to meet all of our needs and listened to our situation. You may get push-back if you are not wanting to vaccinate your child on their schedule, but that is common in many offices I have been to. Overall very impressed and would definitely recommend.
