My experience with Dr. Hsiao was good! He is the best/most patient OB I've ever seen. Our case was a little complicated and we are going to do IVF. Dr. Hsiao helped me to do all prescreening tests in a timely manner and gave me a lot of suggestions from a professional medical perspective. I can tell he had a tight schedule but he answered all my questions and concerns in detail.
And I truly appreciate his bedside manner, he always explained the next step he was going to do and tried to talk to me to distract my nervousness. Speaking of the staff and nurses, I have needle phobia but need to draw 8 tubes of blood at a time during a visit. The nurse brought me a bottle of water after the blood work and cared a lot about me. Overall, it's a very friendly and warm environment. The only downside I would say it's the $7 parking fee. Is there any free parking spot nearby? Any suggestions?

This is my first pregnancy, I went in for my first doctors visit and dr bills told me my baby was dead! I'm those exact cold words! He saw me briefly looked at the sonogram briefly & left out with me & my family in tears. I went for a second opinion, same day, at the hospital and found out my baby is very much alive with a low heart beat & im actually 6 weeks & not 8 weeks. I can't believe a trained professional would be so cold & bring on so much emotional distress to a soon to be mother, especially a first time mother!

Do not go here. Dr Bills is a terrible doctor, rushes through your visit, and only cares about money. Save yourself the trouble, and READ the reviews before you go. You do not want to go to a doctor that comments back sarcastic remarks to all the negative reviews he has. If 80 people are calling it a duck it is a duck! If you would actually take time and care about your patients you wouldn't have the time to be a smart aleck in the comments sections!

Definitely the worse front office staff I've ever seen. no one wants to do their job. My wife changed insurance companies, so she called the office to let them know. We were told the insurance was updated. When we arrived for my wife's next appt, apparently it wasn't updated and the front desk girl said we should have called before the appointment so we can move the appointment appt along quickly. Dr. Cohen review- no personality and didn't seem to care much. Felt like she was on her way out or something. Dr. Hsiao: The best doctor in the office.
He was really nice and we felt comfortable during our office visit with him. He addressed all concerns in a timely manner. Dr. Bills- Nice guy, but also felt rushed. He did a 4D ultrasound the day before my wife had a miscarriage. We were told by the ER OB docs that this could have been seen on a ultrasound and possibility avoided by having a Cerlage surgery.
We visited Dr. Bill the day before the miscarriage and unfortunately he couldn't see it on the ultrasound. Overall, I think this should be a special time for all. Our experience here wasn't pleasant and we will not come back. Should have known better from the other reviews.

This was my first pregnancy and I was with Dr. Cohen and Dr. Hsaio they made sure I understood what was happening with me and baby and I felt very comfortable with them. Dr. Cohen delivered my baby and it was quick and she talked me through it all. While I didn't get to see Dr. Bills as much he was also great.

Unnecessarily rude about wearing a mask. I had left mine in my car.and the receptionist came into the lobby spraying disinfectant. And after providing a mask proceeded to lecture me to tighten my mask which now is too tight and hurting my face. She insisted it wasn't tight enough even after one adjustment. Because of the little gap at the sides. I've never felt more humiliated. I feel like total garbage.

Called 24 hours in advance to cancel due to daughter being sick and was told on the phone and via email that I would not be billed for cancelling due to the emergency at hand. However, I received an email today that a $100 cancellation fee was charged on my credit card. I have saved the email saying "you will no be charged."

I personally drive all the way to Alpharetta because I trust all the doctors working in this facility. I've had my first pregnancy at this facility as well and I was very impressed with how organized and great the team was. My first pregnancy was high risk (gestational, preclampsia) and it was a difficult pregnancy but they doctors were extremely knowledgeable and definitely 'knew what they were doing' which is why I chose the same facility again for the second time.
Only issue I have with this facility is the one racist front desk person who is sort of racist and very unfriendly towards the Asian patients. What annoys me is that SHE too is a person of color yet she only shows kindness and friendliness towards the WHITE patients. Today when I had walked into the front desk, this racist front desk person DID not even acknowledge that I was standing in front of her and completely ignored me.
It was very uncomfortable. Right after me, there was a white patient and she immediately got off the phone (or she was still on the phone i can't remember) and she starts kissing her ass. And she was super friendly to ALL of the other white patients after me except towards another Asian patient. But whatever, I have a great job with a great health insurance, and I am still going to give 5 stars to this facility because the doctors and the nurses are AWESOME.

I wish I could give Alliance Ob/Gyn 0 stars, please allow me to elaborate. Picture this, you've taken the day off work to have a minor procedure done at Alliance Ob/Gyn. The intake process before this was a bit of a nightmare (lost paperwork, lack of communication and organization on the office part) but hey it's all said and done and you're finally here day of.
You take the address of the office off the email they sent you to confirm your appointment (suite number included- this is important later so hold on to it), and plug it into your GPS. You arrive at the building and walk into the lobby. You get your temperature taken, and it pops up as a normal 98.5, they offer you some hand sanitizer, and then offer to help you find anything if needed.
Well whoa ho, you actually do need help finding the office, suite 1240, and they hate to inform you that this is the wrong building. So you walk out of the main hospital and call Alliance to ask for specific directions to the office as the simple address on the email wasn't sufficient. "You DONT put the suite number in when you're typing the address on GPS" you're very sternly informed. Okay. then what do I type in?
You are told the following, "Go over to Gold Parking Deck, get to the 7th floor, walk across to the other side of the deck, go in the building, take the first set of elevators up one floor to the 8th, go around the corner, take another set of elevators up to the 12th floor and then find the suite on that floor". Yikes, okay. You go into the Gold Parking Lot and find a staircase leading "up", so you park and go up FIVE flights of stairs to the 7th floor. Huzzah you've made it! SIKE.
You have to walk all the way across the deck to the actual building entrance. The thick, mid calf length wool sherpa coat, matching beanie and UGGs you decided to sport today are seeming like a real poor choice now as you were unaware you were running a triathlon maze race today. After another 5 minutes of adventuring and elevator-ing you finally reach the office.
At long last, the prodigal son has arrived. So you go up to check in and the front desk girl, lets call her Star, takes your temperature, twice. She acts a little squirrel-ey and shoves an iPad at you while informing you "the Wifi doesn't reach here in the office so you need to go fill this paperwork out on the iPad in the hall, now, and I need to go speak with the doctor and then I'll come find you". Okay, weird but whatever.
Your nerves start to kick in a little while you fill out the paperwork but what's new. All of a sudden Star comes out of the office with all your belongings (Sherpa coat, tote bag and all) and informs you that your temperature is at 103, yes ONE HUNDRED AND THREE, she's informed the doctor, and you must leave immediately, get a COVID test and reschedule in 10 days.
You explain to her, no you certainly do not have a fever of 103 as you'd not only be in very bad condition but also you just had it taken at the main hospital not even 20 minutes prior and it was completely normal. Further than that you were wearing a WOOL sherpa coat, beanie and UGGSs and had to run a minor decathlon to get here, so if you're even the slightest bit hot thats why.
Finally you add you had a full physical yesterday at your GP's office and everything was normal so you certainly don't have COVID. "No you must leave immediately". So you do, and go sit in your car and call back requesting to speak to the office manager to explain what's ridiculously going on. After about 30 minutes of waiting for a call back, you receive a phone call telling you to come back up so you can get your temperature retaken.
So you do so and you're greeted by the ever loving and brilliant Star. Lucky you. She retakes your temperature, you hear the concluding beep, and she turns to huff off her recent developments. "Uhhh is it normal?" you inquire. Without even stopping, or turning around to answer you she sneers over her shoulder "98.5". WOW. No kidding? What a SURPRISE.
You get a call from the office manager informing you the doctor still won't see you as it was so high earlier, it doesn't matter that you got your temperature retaken and it is in fact normal, you must take a COVID test and reschedule in 10 days. Are you imagining this? Great because that was my real life experience with this absolute joke of a practice.
Good news is though, from this experience, I'll be letting my 4 pound, pea sized brain chihuahua know that if she's interested in a career change that Alliance Ob/Gyn will hire her as they apparently hire anyone with eyes, teeth and half a brain. Save your time and energy and DO NOT go here. I've taken my business elsewhere, to Emory Ob/Gyn to be completely transparent, and urge you to do yourself a favor and to do the same.

I was pleased with my experience at this office. Dr Bills was my primary doctor and was very informative and reassuring throughout my pregnancy. Dr. Hsiao was the doctor who delivered my son and he was great. I can't thank him enough for the experience he provided in the hospital during my birth. His bedside manner was amazing and his attitude was very calming during the process.

Was a support for friend in labor who had special needs. She was very anxious, overwhelmed, and on sensory overload. Have been support for over 60 labors. Dr. Hsiao has the best bedside manner/attitude I have ever encountered. He was positive, kind, patient, professional, and was able to speak to her when no one (not even I!) could. He gave her space when she wanted it and let her push for as long as baby was thriving.
When it was time to step in he did it in a way that did not overwhelm her but empowered her. He was very good for exams. Patient, slow, talked, touched thighs first and said this is my glove, should I check to see where the baby's head is now? Waited until she was ready etc. His approach was awesome. He is also such a happy positive person. He is a gem. Highly recommend! Dr Cohen was the attending physician from 9-3 the day we were there did not give off friendly, kind vibes. I would say very clinical vibes.

I have never had a Women's wellness checkup, and some friends told me that I should probably go get one. I heard great things about this practice, so I decided to go with them for my first time. I called to make an appointment, and Cheryl was extremely helpful. She not only helped me to set up an appointment, she told me all the things I need to know like there's a parking deck but I have to pay for parking, come in 30 minutes before my appointment to fill out paper work, and just what a checkup entails.
She was super nice and very informative. The day of my appointment, I got there a little before 30 minutes prior. Lisa was at the counter, and she was also very nice and efficient. I filled out some paper work and waited for my name to be called. Soon I was able to see Dr. Hsiao. He was very personable and super nice. He greeted me warmly with a firm handshake and reassured me that everything will probably turn out fine.
During the checkup, he explained the procedure, and talked to me through the whole thing. Before I came in, I was kind of nervous for this checkup, but Dr. Hsiao took all my anxiety away! He's a great doctor! I would recommend this clinic to anyone that may need the services they provide.

Loveeeeee this doctors office! I'm sure they are all great but Dr. Hsiao! Dr. Hsiao! Dr. Hsiao! Literally the best doctor I've had in my life! He is so nice, he calms your nerves if you're super paranoid about everything like I am, and he's just fun. He's also very chill and relaxed in a good way-- I was scared being pregnant that my doctor will tell me I couldn't do anything or eat anything but he was not like that he was very realistic.
I hope he delivers my baby. Dr. Harvey was nice as well. Most of the staff is pretty great. I like the Sandy Springs office because it's closer to my house but you do have to park in a parking deck in the hospital and that's the only negative. Office was nice and clean and staff was very accommodating if you need to change your appointment. I highly recommend.

This used to be my favorite ob/gyn of all time. They have seen me through 2 of my pregnancies but the last one wasn't the best. I'll cut to the chase, 10 days before my baby (3rd child) was due I began having contractions. I called the office and the doc on duty told me to keep an eye on them and to come in if they intensify or my water breaks.
They intensified through the night so I went in the next day. While at Northside hospital (now 9 days before my due date and 5 days before my scheduled induction) I was given pain meds and my contractions were monitored. The pain meds only made me go to sleep because I was still in pain on and off. The doc on duty came in and said he had to send me home since my contractions were not every 5 minutes and I was not 39 weeks just yet. (Even though I was 38w 5d) He also assured me that once they start coming, things are going to go very fast since it is my 3rd baby.
I then asked if I could have some pain meds because I was miserable. This man tells me "No, this is the reason women don't have over 2 babies because it hurts so bad!" Then sends me home in tears! Oh and guess what, I had my baby at home in the toilet a few hours later! Im never going back to them!

Finally deciding to write a review. I was referred here by a friend and to say the least, the experience was not pleasant. Dr. Bills seems racist and inpatient with overweight patients. Dr. B has left the group and Dr. Hsiao tries to tell jokes to pass the time and doesn't address your serious concerns. On the night of my delivery, all was well and I was dilating naturally.
The next morning, Dr. Bills ran into my room and rushed me to have a c-section. There was no consultation and as a new mother, this was a frightening experience for myself, family, and husband. I asked for a second opinion or to have my specialist present and both requests were denied and met with a "life and death" decision. Although I didn't feel like it was, I made the decision to have a c-section because I was pressured into it and ultimately wanted to protect my unborn child.
At my six weeks appointment with Dr. Bills, I couldn't see another doctor because he performed the c-section. I requested birth control in the form of the vaginal ring. Dr. Bills exact words were, "Because you didn't dilate, you are unable to use the vaginal ring." He further suggested that I get the shot or the pill. I declined because I had done extensive research about my options.
At my 6 months check-up, the office called and informed me a new doctor was available to conduct my follow-up (Dr. Harvey). He asked about the form of birth control was I using and I told him the story. His face said it all, he didn't even have any words to explain Dr. Bills actions, words, or advice. Needless to say, I left with the vaginal ring.
Last straw, I called for an annual today with Dr. Harvey, the office assistant was super rude. She told me I was discharged because I had a missed appointment fee that was unpaid ($25) and if I was to be seen, I would have to pay a reinstatement fee. All in all, they are not focused on women's health, choice, and care. I would advise selecting another OBGYN, a group of younger and more knowledgeable doctors. If you are pregnant, please try to see Dr. Harvey.

Great experience with all of the Doctors and the office staff. Every visit to the office throughout my pregnancy was great - the Doctors carefully explained things and made sure I was appropriately prepared. I most frequently saw Dr Bandyopadhyay and Dr Hsiao for my prenatal visits and then Dr Bills delivered my baby. They took all of my concerns very seriously and followed up with me to make sure things were going well. A wonderful group and I feel very fortunate to be a patient with Alliance.

I had a fantastic experience at Alliance OBGYN specifically with Dr. Hsiao, my OBGYN. I did a lot of research to find the best OBGYN and boy did the hard work pay off. What I found most impressive was his story on how he came into medicine, which really speaks to his passion about the field. I'm a firm believer that people excel at their work when they are passionate about what they do, and you can tell that he truly enjoys being an OBGYN. Additionally, he has the best bedside manor coupled with a bit of humor which is so comforting, yet, he is still highly competent and knowledgeable about his practice area. Dr. Hsiao provided exceptional care and I always felt that I was in trusted hands.
I got very lucky in that Dr. Hsiao was on call the day I delivered, and because of him and the team of nurses at Northside I delivered a healthy baby. I could not be more pleased. Dr. Hsiao is the best OBGYN I have ever had and I highly recommend him to ALL.

I didn't get directions to the office either by the staff which would greatly helped and not have me walking around the entire Women Center. They definitely should be better about that or at least have a bigger sign. Dr. C. Hsiao is a very informative and a genuine doctor. He was the doctor for my SIL for all 3 of her girls, yes all girls! Since this is my first pregnancy and that I get anxious over every little thing that is happening, it can be overwhelming.
But having a Doctor like Dr. Hsiao puts me at ease. He takes his time explaining all the procedures being done. I really like his warm personality and he remembers my SIL and my nieces. I am glad that my SIL referred me to him. I can't wait for this journey

Save your time and money! For starters, as a first time patient, I wasn't given directions on how to get to the office. I rode around at least 15 minutes looking for the building, only to figure out that in order to get to the office I had to park in the same garage as Northside Hospital. Secondly, I go in to fill out the paperwork, and I fill out what I was instructed to fill out, even though someone else's paperwork is mixed in.
I finally get called to the back and the MA is asking me questions that's in the paperwork. Super irritated at this point. I finally see the doctor, and I end up having an ultrasound. She prescribes me medicine. Never discussed alternative options in case the meds didn't work, which they didn't. My condition worsened, and I call and leave a message.
The next day, I speak with someone and she told me that she'd send a message to the doctor. It's Friday, and I don't hear from anyone. I had to suffer in severe pain the entire weekend, and I call in on Monday, and leave a message. Needless to say, I didn't receive a call back. I'm super disappointed with this office specifically because I paid money out of pocket to be seen here, as I'm uninsured. If you don't time, or if you're not sure how to attend to a patient's needs, then maybe you shouldn't be practicing.

Unfortunately I cannot tell you how the doctors are at this particular medical group. The reason for that is because I did not want to sign one of their forms that stated that they would charge me $50 if I didn't cancel my appointment with in 24 hours. They would also charge $10-$25 to retrieve my own medical records. They will also fees for other situations that other doctors do not charge fees for.
We could've just agreed to disagree and I would just not of signed it and that would've been that. But the office manager basically told me that I had to sign it and actually she didn't tell me I had to sign it she had one of the front desk women tell me I had to sign it. Due to the fact that I would not sign it I cannot be seen by the doctor.
That I think is violation of some type of rule some type of law some type of doctors oath. How could you trust a doctor when you can't trust his front staff to do the right thing. Why does it always have to be these doctors charging you way beyond what other doctors may charge when you need their service. It's really a shame that this world has come to doctors over charging for services fees for every little thing.
They know we need them so they do it. So I will find A doctor that is more concerned with the patient and how the patient is feeling and how the patient's health is rather than how much they get for that patient on a monetary basis.

I have been seeing Doctor Hsiao for about 6 years and I have referred multiple friends to him. The reason I am wriing this review is that my mother came into the office with me today----understand that I went to the ob/gyn she goes to when I was younger---and after meeting Dr. Hsiao she loved him! He is personable, knowledgable and even remembers your name, job occupation and hairstyle you had previously! After my appointment with him my mom loved him and is leaving her doctor of many years to come see mine! Go see Dr. Hsiao he is the best!

Dr. Hsiao delivered my first baby and I'm now pregnant with #2. Everything is great excepted that they used the wrong code on some lab work on my 6-weeks visit. Even my insurance company rep advised that this piece of lab work would've been covered if doctor filed claim with the the correct diagnostics code. And I should call my doctor to get this corrected.
I made many calls and explained to the billing department, but they are difficult and refused to help correct anything. like "It has to be that way, it's a special test and because you were pregnant". WHAT? even the insurance company advised this is covered but they are still not helping to correct somethihng they billed incorrectly. Obviously they didn't verify coverage before performing work?!?!
It is $150 that I have to pay that does not even applied towards my deductible. (BTW my yearly deductible is $250, this is more than half). I am not happy! I will be glad to pay this if this goes towards my deductible. People be aware of your bills & claims when you visit this office.

Alliance Ob/Gyn Rocks! Dr. Taylor was the first doctor I met at 6 weeks pregnant, and she was the one on call when I went into labor/delivery. I had no idea what to expect while pregnant and Dr. Taylor, Dr. Hsaio and Dr. Bills explained everything every step of the way. I can't even tell you how many times I called the staff for questions! I had a borderline high risk pregnancy and had weekly visits for the last 3-4 months, and I actually looked forward to each visit to see the doctors and staff. Everyone knew my name and story. It's a great practice, and I look forward to my next pregnancy with these doctors! :

If you are looking for a practice and doctors that care about nothing more than money, you have found a home at Alliance OBGYN! First, I was talked into unnecessarily being induced because my baby would be too big to birth vaginally if I waited (he was born 8 lbs.). Then, after being induced, I was told I needed an emergency c-section conveniently a half hour before my doctor's shift ended at the hospital. Then, to top it all off, I went in for an emergency visit today and the practiced refused to see me because I left my wallet at home and could not pay my $3 copay! This practice and these doctors DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AS A PERSON, they are there for the paycheck and nothing more. I will NEVER go back.

This is my first pregnancy and to date, I am only ~5 months along so I'll need to update this review when the kid gets popped out eventually. So far, so good. My main doctor is Dr. Bills. He is incredibly personable and speaks really really fast so you have to be paying very close attention to catch all the details and figures coming out of him at any moment.
The credentials of everyone in that practice is impressive. I'm partial to the fact that two out of the three docs in there have engineering degrees on top of being medically educated and certified in prestigious places. I believe that the analytical demands of an engineering degree can come in handy. For instance, I had some complications involving a second trimester blood test that potentially implicated a complication for my baby of having downs syndrome. Dr. Bills was able to talk over the actual figures and statistics with my husband and I in a very well informed and factual manner that was very satisfying for the both of us.
They have appointments as early as 7:30AM which is great for me to still have a semblance of workday remaining after these numerous checkups and visits in the upcoming months.
