Obesity is a chronic disease, which requires a lifelong treatment; obesity is a disease process with a physiological cause, like diabetes or hypertension. It is not a result of weakness or lack of willpower on the part of the patient; and obese individuals have a right to healthcare that is safe and fits their lifestyle.

I scheduled an appointment and drove all the way back to PTC, dealing with back to back funerals, only to have my appointment canceled. The front desk employee didn't really acknowledge me and acted as if I was crazy and never set an appointment in the first place. She blamed me and kept assuming I canceled my own appointment. She even asked "what kind of insurance do you have because it may not be excepted" and " oh well you never scheduled an appointment so." like who does something like that.
I felt very disrespected being that I'm 21 and it was my first time being there anyway; like I honestly didn't know what to expect but I definitely didn't expect that. I was turned away and asked to reschedule for a later date although the error wasn't on my end. I can't speak on the company's actual performance but respect is something that has to be established before you give any company money out of your own pockets.
You should feel save and comfortable with your doctors and if you can't establish respect or feel comfortable then you shouldn't be there. If you are reading this, all in all, just have respect for yourself and be mindful of the gynecologist/ and company you choose to trust with your body and/or the life you are carrying. Take care!

I've never really cared to leave a review but I never experienced anything like this. The front desk reps are SO rude. First they accused me of missing my appointment saying that it was the day before when the lady that I spoke to SPECIFICALLY told me Thursday. THEN she made me yell my symptoms out loud in the lobby in front of everyone. Absolutely NO discretion whatsoever!
Then the second occurrence happened when I had to speak to the on-call dr at the time and she had an attitude as if I was bothering her when all I needed was help. The ONLY person that actually shows empathy and has such a sweet spirit is Ms Mary Corbitt and I've personally told her this. Maybe she can train her employees to have the same hospitality as her.

I have been going to the peachtree city office for years and I love it! My favorite person is Dr. Banks' twin sister, Theresa. If you need any kind of injection, she is the best person to call as it is absolutely painless! She is so sweet and she really cares about patients. I've probably seen all the doctors over the years and they've all given me quality care.
The people at the front are always nice and remember my name. I have no complaints about this office. Others have left reviews about scheduling appointments, but I always leave my name and number and get a call right back. If you keep missing their calls, they'll politely tell you "next time, just press *insert extension here* instead."

I have been going to this office forever! I love Dr. Banks. When I tried to schedule a mammogram they would not let me unless I scheduled a complete check up too. So I was denied a mammogram because of it. you would think with Breast Cancer month, and needing one, you would not be turned away. A little confused but with that being said, even though it's 45 minute ride from my house now, I will still go there. Don't know what I would do if Dr. Banks ever leaves

Doctor are good but the scheduler return calls when it's close to closing for them. They rude and unprofessional in the front. I think the need to replace them. when you ask questions over the phone and they say they will call you back that's a lie. They will not return your calls I know for a fact because I was waiting on them to call me back and never did. So I decided to take my business somewhere else. If it was not for the doctor I have deal with I would have not give them no stars.

I just moved to Peachtree City and this is probably the most unorganized and frustrating doctors office I have ever contacted. I first called them at 10am to set an appointment and I was sent to voicemail, I left a message and waited. and waited. At 2pm I received a missed call from them and promptly returned it, I was sent to voicemail again. An hour later they called back and hung up on me immediately. I finally called for a third time and was sent to voicemail again. Obviously, they will not be receiving my business.

Dr Williams delivered my daughter, on a Friday night, emergency C-Section. She didn't even tell me that she was about to do the surgery. I found out after a nurse came in to prep me. She wouldn't wait 10 minutes so I could have my mother with me as my husband was out of town. I was in a lot of pain but the baby wasn't in distress. I was later told by another doctor in the practice that I could've had the baby vaginally.
News to me. I hear that the practice no longer delivers babies. Good thing but it doesn't help Williams' bedside manner. She's no woman's advocate. I was alone and scared and she was upset that her Friday night was disturbed. I have a healthy child so I've put this behind me but I'll never set foot in her office again and it's my responsibility to warn others. Horrible experience.

I've been a patient at the Peachtree City location for approximately five years, under the care of Dr. Karen Greene; when I started the office staff was extremely professional and provided services in a prompt matter. Within the last two years, several changes have occurred; when scheduled for an appointment I have to wait 45 minutes to an hour before I'm seen, in order to schedule an appointment or get a prescription filled I have to play phone tag with the answering machine; once I leave a message my call is not being returned, my prescription has been sent to the wrong location or the doctor at the actual pharmacy was not called back.
When I called PTC OBGYN, I was encountered by a administrative assistant which was rude, and started to tell me what I needed to do to solve their mistake.then gave me the "EXCUSE ME!", put me on hold for several minutes, and transferred me to Terry. Thanks Terry for the help! I've never had this problem before, especially when your company made the mistake.
On my last visit, I wasn't aware that the accountant was also making new appoints now, but I followed the regular routine of going to the appointment window and she asked me why was I there and told me I should have made it over there. I to work in a professional environment and I'm aware of how customers should be treated, and how new procedures should be explained, not spat out to you; especially in this environment of ladies caring for ladies!
I tried to contact the office manager, only to get her voice mail again, but leaving a voicemail doesn't seem to be a useful technique. Hopefully there will be some form of improvement to avoid the lost of future customers.
