Woodstock Pediatric Medicine is a comprehensive pediatric practice providing well and sick child care to newborns and children from birth through the age of 18 years. We are proud to have been serving Woodstock and the surrounding communities for more than 20 years. We continually strive to provide you with excellent pediatric care in an office setting. Services
We currently have four pediatricians, Dr. Heaven, Dr. Le, Dr. Rzeznik and Dr. Shah, whom are all board certified pediatricians and members of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). In addition, we have also Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Shannon Dobson and Milan Wade Johnson and our Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Julie Anna Gomez.
Prescription refills may be requested during our regular office hours, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30p.m. Please allow 48 to 72 hours for all prescription refills. The fastest way to have your child's chronic medication refilled is to contact your pharmacy and ask them to fax the refill request to our office at 770-517-0260.

You can schedule an appointment by calling 770-517-0250 during business hours. If your child is sick and requires an unscheduled exam, you may call our office for your child to be worked in as quickly as possible. It is helpful if you give us enough notice when you call to ensure the highest quality of care to everyone.

Not even a one star but had too choose something the sick building is a joke and so is every staff member involved everytime I have to go too the sick building we are just shoved in a room and made too wait 30 too 45 minutes after his appointment time like what is the point in appointment times if they don't get held. Here we are 30 minutes past his appointment time and still no doctor imagine that. I am actually wondering if we are going too be seen sometime today

Mamas out there please ignore this place. They are literally see their patients as "meat market". They overbook their appointments, they accept so many patients and when you're kid is sick and you been calling 3 days in a row and they advise you to take your kid to urgent care because they are overbooked. They don't even ask for any other additional information like what is the symptoms or even what is your babies name.
We always see Dr. Heaven on check ups and she is a sweet doctor but overall this office is giving her a bad name. Super sorry about this sweet doctor! Both of my twins are sick with a fever- when i called first time the front office advised me that the doctor will be camping and out rest of the month. I asked for any other doctor who can accept sick visits- she said they are overbooked.
I will drive 30 miles and drive to our previous doctor in roswell rather than take my babies here again. You guys are literally the worse. Update: i took my babies to urgent care and transferring them to a different doctors office. Another update: Doctors office in Roswell can't see the twins until their next check in time which is 2and half years old comes up in January.
So i called this place again for FLU SHOT spoke to Jackie- she advised me that they can no longer see my babies due to this comment I posted! This is how they will be playing with kids health. Transfer didn't happen yet for our pediatrician in Roswell due to their next well visit being in January. We found another lovely office in Woodstock who accepted us for the FLU shot and well visit and sick visits! Guess what- they do not have any frustrated parent comments on their page like this office does. Sending this office (their good nurses and DR. Heaven) best of the luck.

I never make bad reviews about different places but this practice has let me down yet again. My 13 year old child has contracted covid19 and is at home with fever 102-103.5 F, heart rate on the 130's to 150's (which is elevated for his age), sore throat, vomiting for the first day which had left him with not wanting to put anything on his mouth afraid of vomiting again.
I took him to a minute clinic where the NP did a strep test (negative) and gave him medications for the vomit and nausea and told me to contact his doctor for further guidance due to his cardiac history. I called the office and left a voicemail under their nurse's line asking for guidance and possible antiviral treatment but was told by a staff member, NOT a medical provider to watch and monitor and that "her doctors do not prescribe antiviral medications for their patients with covid unless they have a severe underlying condition such as asthma." My son has underlying heart problems including a heart murmur and she told me that was not enough to warrant antiviral treatment by her doctors.
She told me if he got worse to take him to an urgent care for IV fluids since he is having high fever and little to no fluid or solid intake. I never got to talk to an actual doctor or provider which I thought it was very unprofessional to let a regular staff member make that medical decision without consulting a medical expert. I will never take my child to this practice again.

Don't leave a lot of reviews, but I'm not fond of this practice anymore. Gave them a few chances and to my avail, it didn't go well. Took my son in for sick visits the past times and the doctor told me he didn't have any major problems, and did not take my concerns seriously. Went in for what I presumed to be an eye infection because I strongly believed he had it and Dr. Johnson-Wade stated that he did not.
I know my child. Don't give him a quick look and say I'm wrong. Mother knows best. The staff is amazing, I'm just tired of their practice. Being a new mother and all, you tend to question a lot and try to manage as you go and she did not help or make me feel better whatsoever about my concerns. Will be switching to a different pediatrician.

I called the medical records department in order to get access to my vaccination records. They were unable to provide them to me since I'm no longer a pediatric patient and haven't been there in over 2 years (HIPAA). However, this really sweet woman took the time to call me back and walked me through how to request access to these documents through the GA dept of health. I wish I got her name but I just wanted to say thank you so much for your help!

Woodstock Pediatrics has ALWAYS treated me like family! My kids are always loved on and treated so well, even though they may be sick! I've never felt rushed or like my questions were not answered! I Love that the providers take time to address each concern i have! The Nurses and front office staff are very sweet and accommodating! I like that the nurses help To comfort my kids when they are crying. I highly recommend this group! I will not go anywhere else! I trust each of them with my whole heart!

Best pediatric office hands down! Wonderful and friendly staff. Every time we visit they get you in and out fast. Sometimes you can be in and out in 30 min. I have never had that happen at any other doctors office. We have seen all the Doctors and they are all great. We love this office and I highly recommend them.

This practice is absolutely the best. I am not sure how anyone could give a negative review of this office because the staff, nurses and physicians have always been so great with my children. Very caring, attentive and always act like they are happy to see me. They have always done right by my children and at the end of the day, that is what matters to me each and every time. They have yet to fail me and I've been a patient here almost 9 years.
