It takes a lot for me to write a bad review against a business. That said, I have never encountered such an unprofessional group. I ended up walking out of my appointment it was that bad. (Ps. I work in healthcare.) The receptionist and chief technician were incredibly rude. Insulting and yelling at patients in front of other patients when asked for a mask by a patient who needed one.
They then provided what looked like a used mask and said "that's all you get, it isn't our job to give you a mask". Stay away. There are many other more professional providers in the area. I don't know how they are still in business.

Scheduler Mary was very rude and was rushing through things and wouldn't even listen to what I had to say. The later on billing called and said authorization code was wrong while I already told them the code was given from another facility. What's the point of working with patients if you can't use professionalism or at least act like a professional. It's a shame that people are acting this way like they don't want to be there.

This place have some issues. First with appointments. when I made an appointment I was told to arrive at 12:45 pm then get a call few days later to tell me arrival should be 1:15 pm. Ok, half an hour is no big deal. But when I got there, I was rushed through the test. The tech who did my brain scan said I do not need to remove my under garment(bra) because it is head scan and rush me through.
So no change into a gown. She was not sure my scan needed contrast so she had to double check. And when she gave me the contrast, she said she is giving me slow injection so my vein wouldn't burst. And after the scan she rushed me out. The whole time there I was uncomfortable. felt rushed. The tech in the white lab coat was either having a bad day or she just has a bad bedside manners or even incompetent. Now I am thinking can I trust the scan results?

My insurance changed and therefore I needed a new place to get my regular ultrasound for my thyroid. I called to schedule my appointment and the receptionist insisted that I obtain not only the written report of my last ultrasound but also the CD copy. This required a 40 min trip one way with my appointment the next day. I arrived at my appointment and signed in.
No one asked me for my CD and written report. The technician called me to come back and, as we walked back, I asked if she needed the reports. She said "Sure". She preceded to put them on a table in the exam room. After the test was done, she handed them back to me. I thought maybe she scanned them or something. The next week I went to my annual endocrinologist appointment and my doctor was unable to do anything with the results of my ultrasound because it said "no previous ultrasound report provided".
Thanks for nothing Colmar Imaging. I have nodules on my thyroid that need to be closely monitored and you failed to take my previous study for the radiologist to make a thorough report and comparison. I will never use your services again.

I needed a brain MRI for a hearing issue. I'm really lucky to have very good insurance. I tried to get an appointment at a local hospital for the MRI but was really getting the runaround setting things up. I found colmar imaging via a google search and called them up. Someone answered the phone right away and was really nice. Within 60 seconds of the call I had an appointment.
I was going back and forth with grandview for a week and didn't get anywhere. 1 minute I was setup. I got to my appointment and it was incredibly stress free. Great facility, the people were all very nice to me. On time. The person who helped set me up talked to me in a very kind way and really set me at ease on some concerns I had. I had my MRI done in their strongest MRI scanner which was GE model.
The contrast injection was really easy. The scans went fast. When I left the radiologist told me next steps and gave me the scans on the CD before I left. I haven't gotten a report yet and continue onto my next steps with figuring this out. From what I saw on the CD hopefully the professionals have enough info now to figure out the problem. I highly recommend colmar imaging. [UPDATE 10-24-2019] I had to get another MRI, hurt my knee running (without contrast).
The local hospital was booked for two weeks (GVH). I called Colmar and they worked me in right away and still great setup. Nice facility. I had a CD in my my hand before I walked out the door. They also have a patient portal.

The two receptionist were both kind & friendly but the two technicians I had were inpatient & not very understanding to someone like me with anxiety. Listening to music during my MRI would have been Very helpful, but it was broken for over a month! Also the speaker in which the technician keeps in touch with the patient during the MRI was also broken! If I ever need an MRI, I will not be returning to Colmar Imaging!

I've had several MRIs and have NEVER had a bad experience. From the first phone call to picking up the report, I have always been treated with courtesy. The technicians are always concerned with my comfort no matter how much pain I've been in and always tell you the duration before each segment of the testing. These ladies (I've never had a male technician) are the absolute best! The report is always ready when I return to get it and is easy to read. I have no qualms about giving Colmar Imaging 5 stars!

Our daughter is new to the area and needs an MRI done. We went thru living hell trying to schedule an MRI at the Abington Lansdale hospital and other centers. Jan at Colmar imaging center was beyond fabulous, she literally saved me and got her scheduled promptly! Thank you. Looking forward to their services!
