Dr. Flicker is wonderful! Last year, he found a torn retina in my left eye that I had no idea I had and sent me to a great Retinal specialist. Recently, I had 2 cataract surgeries within the same month and now I have 20 20 vision. I only wish I still didn't need my reading glasses.

Caring, friendly, knowledgable staff willing to take the time to answer your questions and make you comfortable waiting for the doctor. They set you up for the doctor who is also excellent (Dr Flicker) in putting you at ease while working on or near probably the most fragile part of your body.

I had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Johnathan Benjamin and the experience from beginning to end was terrific. The staff was very kind and thoughtful. I go for the second eye soon and I feel very calm and confident. I highly recommend, South Shore Eye are/ Dr. Benjamin.

Dr Flicker performed Lasik on me March 2022. I felt no pain and Dr Flickers clear instructions helped me throughout the process. I can't thank him & his team enough for giving me the gift of sight!

Dr Flicker performed cataract surgery on my eye and placed a lense into my eye. I was petrified and was calmed down by Dr. Flicker and his staff. I can now see and what a blessing that is. I will forever be grateful to him and his team. From the bottom of my heart thank you!

South Shore Eye Care LLP (Wantagh) Dr. Jason Flicker performed both cataract surgeries in 1/21 and 1/22. The procedures were articulately explained both times. The actual surgeries (removal of cataract and lens replacement) took less than 15 minutes after awaiting my turn for the FEMTO-laser at the Garden City SurgiCenter. I sought an appointment with South Shore Eye Care after my regular eye doctor could not get me in for over a month when I was experiencing an issue; after my first appointment, I immediately decided that SSEC would be my permanent practice. The receptionists; assistants, and doctors are all genuinely helpful, warm, and friendly. They are efficient and squeezed me in quickly, my appointments were quick and efficient as well.

My second appointment had a scheduling mixup and they still managed to see me on the day and time I showed up. A genuinely pleasant experience, from start to finish every time the kind you are not used to getting much anymore. Great practice filled with wonderful, caring, helpful, knowledgeable people.

I went to South Shore a week ago to get a new prescription for contacts and glasses. I ended up seeing Dr. Siriamonthep and she was very thorough. She made sure the prescription was clear but also not too strong. She also was very good with explaining anything I could've had a question about.
