Appointments are an important part of your treatment, as time has been reserved specifically for you.
We will make a copy of your insurance card(s) when you arrive in the office. If you do not present your insurance card(s) at the time of your visit, or if your treatment with us is not covered under your insurance plan, you will be required to pay for your office visit at the time of service. We accept Visa, Discover, and MasterCard.

What can I say about Dr. Horton and her staff. I have been a patient of hers since 2003. Dr. Horton. Highly recommend her. has treated and removed several early squamous and basal cell cancers. She and her staff are very thorough and explain the procedure and what needs to be done. I recently moved 50 miles away and I still continue to make the 100 miles round trip to see Dr. Horton. She's the best. She tells it as it is.

The staff was very friendly and timely. My appointment was scheduled for 2:40 and I waited less than 3 minutes to be seen. The attendant was friendly and helpful. She explained everything in a clear concise manner. I was seen by Physicians Assistant Purvi. She was very thorough and respectful during the full body exam. I highly recommend Dr. Horton and her entire team.

Everything was great. The check in was very easy, the staff was wonderful, and Dr Horton took her time explaining everything she was going to do. It can be nerve wrecking not knowing what is going to happen during a Mohs procedure, but Dr Horton was so reassuring. She called that same night to check in with me, and I also received a call the following day. Would highly recommend Dr Horton and her staff.

My wife has been seeing Dr Horton for 12yrs now, she has had all three skin cancers including Melanoma, Sharon and her staff are professional, helpful, compassionate. She will always have follow up appointments and if there are any issues or concerns the staff will do above and beyond to get us in asap. She was recommended and we have plenty closer choices but wouldn't consider changing doctors. Sharon helped save my wife's life and restore our life. Thank you for your commitment of helping people

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Horton and her entire staff. First of all, I noticed something suspicious on my skin. I called the office and they got me in the same day. It turned out to be skin cancer and I had the Mohs procedure done shortly after. Dr. Horton successfully got clear margins the first time! Secondly, I love the fact that she takes care of most issues on the spot. She is very professional and skilled. I trust her completely. Her staff are all very kind. I highly recommend Advanced Dermatology!

My first appointment was this week with Dr. Patel. What a great experience I had!. I have had a bad experience at Premier Dermatology in Naperville and had put off going to another dermatologist because of it. My previous doctor couldn't tell me anything about my acne and found no issues with my moles. A year later, I found this office. I have a treatment plan for my hormonal acne and they removed a few suspect moles.
I felt like they took their time, explained what they found and provided a clear treatment plan. Thank you! I didn't feel the wait was long, had it been long it would have been worth the wait.

Staff is great, Dr. Patel is great! Very kind, thorough, professional - excellent patient care. The wait time was rough. This was my first appointment, so I don't know if this is the norm, but I saw a couple other reviews mentioning long waits. From the time I checked in - 20min early - to the time I got a call back to come inside for my appointment - was 1h5m.
I ended up seeing the doctor a full hour after my scheduled appointment time. Despite the wait, I would recommend this dermatology practice to anyone - just clear a few hours on your schedule!
