Took my daughter for a 2nd opinion as 1st doctor had told me that my daughter needs eye surgery for lazy eye, only gave me one option before surgery (option b) & after 2 years taking my daughter to her she said she had no depth perception. At Geneva eye clinic they took the time to actually test my daughter correctly and not rush through it. She has great depth perception and Dr. Brito suggested another option and wait on surgery until my daughter is old enough to decide. I am extremely happy with her opinions and her diligence as well as putting herself in my shoes if this was my daughter situation. I am very grateful!

I just had my first appointment, so most of the time was spent testing--but once those were completed, my meeting with Dr. King (recommended by a trusted friend/neighbor) was helpful and reassuring; he's very friendly, communicates clearly, and is responsive to all questions. I left with a new eyeglass prescription, a clear assessment of my mild vision issues, a follow-up appointment 3 months out, and with little doubt my eye care was in very good hands.

The office staff members I spoke with in the weeks leading up to my appointment were also very helpful. The online Phreesia "survey" new patients are required to complete took a lot of work and kicked me out on several occasions; I would think there may be better (and user-friendlier) programs available.

Dr. King is the best. He listens and understands my concerns. Plus he knows eyes! My cataract surgery could not have gone better and I was back to work the next day and loving I can see again!

I have been going to Geneva Eye Clinic for more than 20 years first with Dr. Nobert Becker and now with Dr. Olga German. From my first visit until now my last, since I'm moving to Florida. It rates an 11 in my book for care and consultation. My last 2 years visits have been will Dr. German and her knowledge, caring, and follow up have been great, as well as her addressing any questions or concerns I've had.

First time to see Dr. German. My husband has health issues and overdue for eye exam. Staff and Dr were very understanding and even got a prescription for new glasses. During our appointment, not rushed in and our. Great to find a Docter who really cares about her patients. I will also be going to her!

Geneva Eye Clinic provides excellent care for my eyes. Dr. King was very thorough and answers any questions that I might have. I have been going there for several years, and I feel very satisfied with the care they provide. From the scheduling of the appointment, through the exam, I have always been very satisfied.

I've been going to this clinic for a few years now and I love it. The staff are all so friendly. I see Dr. Anderson and she always does a thorough check-up and listens to your concerns. Highly recommend Dr. Anderson and the Geneva Eye Clinic.

This is first time I saw Dr. Olga German and she was very professional and pleasant. I usually go to this clinic and see another doctor. I only trust the doctors at Geneva Eye Clinic. I had cataract surgery there a few years ago and I get excellent care.

I have been seeing Dr. Kevin King for 4+ years. He is highly skilled and very personable. Takes time and care to listen and fully answer all question. The facility is always clean and well maintained. Very comfortable. The staff is friendly and efficient.

I was so grateful to the helpful staff and was able to set up an appointment for a consultation with Dr. Hawkins the very next day. I have been a patient of Geneva Eye Clinic for 42 years. I live the way the Dr's here treat each patient and there needs separately. I love that they can sit down and talk to you at the same level without feeling intimidated or nervous.

I had a semi-urgent eye issue. They were able to get me in the next day with my regular doctor, Dr. King. He is always excellent - kind, respectful and comforting. He knew exactly what was going on and I was better within a few days.

As a very much Senior Citizen, I appreciate that I have been seen by the same doctor for a number of years. This gives me confidence that she knows my aging eyes. She and the Geneva Eye Clinic staff are always happy to answer my questions.

Our entire family has been with Geneva Eye Clinic for over 30+ years. I love Dr. Kevin King. We have had the very best and most compassionate care through this eye clinic. People ask why we don't go to the Wheaton Eye Clinic since we live in Wheaton. Knowing WEC is outstanding, I wonder why I would go the WEC when I have the best doctor care available to me at Geneva Eye Clinic with Dr.

King & crew. I know a drive to Geneva seems like a trip, but it's really a matter of minutes and an easy trip to make, especially when you know you will receive the very BEST care.

Dr King and his staff are welcoming, kind, caring and thorough. Any questions were answered completely and my visit was not hurried. A pleasant office environment where distancing during Covid is easily managed.

Dr. King is wonderful. He is very kind and thoughtful when working with my mother. Explains things well and answers all her questions. Goes the extra mile to make her feel comfortable.

I have been a long time patient at this Clinic and a Patient of Dr. Hawkins. She is by far the best Dr I have ever seen for ophthalmology. She is so smart and wants to genuinely help her patients. The staff is amazing and very helpful. You can tell they are well trained and care about the people that walk into the clinic. When I called and made my appointment for my eyes exam I spoke with a Lady named Shelley.

She was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. When I got to the clinic for my appointment Shelley was working and I was so pleased to meet her. If you ever need help she is the one to go to! I could see her smile even under the mask! She made me feel welcome! Then I got to work with Marcia and Heather. I had a lot of questions and both of these lady's were more than informative! They took the time to make sure I always knew the next step! I always know that the health of my eyes are in great hands and the people here treat you like family!

On July 31, 2020, my 3 year old nephew and his mother went to this office for a glasses fit. My nephew is autistic and was recenlty diagnosed with a condition that severely compromises his depth perception. Unfortunately, he cannot wear a mask as he finds it extremely uncomfortable and frightening. I am told that his mother informed the office of this ahead of time and no objection was raised.

When they arrived, he was refused service and no accommodations were made because he could not wear a mask. While I understand everyone's concern around the pandemic, the office could have made some simple accommodations and took precautions to allow him to get these life changing glasses. What was more shocking was the manner in which the service was refused, the office staff were extremely rude, specifically a person named Shelley. Please steer clear of this office, poor customer service and lack of empathy do not deserve your money.

This is my first review that I have written because I have never been treated so rudely and with disrespect in my life! Geneva Eye Clinic is being run by unethical inadequate administration. I chose not to have my eyes dilated the day of my appointment. I have been wearing contacts since I was a teenager have always declined having my eyes dilated and optometrists from an outside clinic have always respectfully accepted my decline in dilation.

I chose not to have my eyes dilated the day of my appointment, and was told I was non compliant and being difficult therefore I was not able to get my contacts. I'm not surprised to read all the negative reviews! I should have read them before I made the appointment therefore I would not have wasted my time. Please read the reviews and believe that the negative comments are in fact true! Experienced it personally!

Positive comments are probably written by the owner. Staff and owner who is the doctor there are very rude and disrespectful. They didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with their customer service which was very disturbing to me. Tried to make a complaint about the poor service but the owner didn't want to take the time to speak to me and instructed someone to tell me to take my business elsewhere and did not care to resolve the problem. Be aware and don't wast your time! You will walk out disappointed and disturbed! They don't even deserve a single star!

I was treated very poorly by the staff. I had and eye exam (billed incorrectly), and purchased relatively expensive glasses. Long wait to get back in to pick them up. I left the office feeling like the fit was not good, but was told just to try them and come back if they need adjusting. I said at the time that it was always a long wait to get back in, but left anyway not feeling great about it.

Sure enough they need adjustment and I can't get in for 4 more days. Staff is completely unsympathetic and inflexible, even at the manager level. This would be a 10 minute appointment for an adjustment. Very sorry I returned to Geneva Eye Clinic.

In 2018, I came to this clinic for an eye infection. I had never been there before. Dr. Hawkins was rude, in a hurry and acted annoyed that I came in with something so minor. I had a large red bump on my eyelid. I had to wait a long time to be seen then the appointment was about 5 minutes. She wrote a script, walked out of the room and neglected to ask if I had any questions, which I did.

I didn't anticipate having to return. Then yesterday, I got another more serious eye infection. I called for an appointment and was promised a tech would call me back. I waited for 1 1/2 hours but no call. I called back 2 more times until they said I should talk to the manager. Before that could happen, I was cut off and had to call back. When I called back, I was scolded for not knowing that they do call backs at the end of the day. I, of course, thought I was talking to the office manager.

I asked her if a tech was going to call and she said very rudely that she was a tech. She had not identified herself. She then told me that the doctor had left at noon and said the office person, who told me that I could be seen, made a mistake. I asked how a doctor leaves the building without notifying the front desk. Etc., etc. etc. Needless to day, I will never go back to this practice.

Today I found a new practice, closer to my home and was seen at 8:50 am. The doctor was on time, kind, took plenty of time and asked if I had questions. This infection was serious which made me even more angry at Geneva Eye Clinic. Don't waste your time. Find somewhere else.

I am very surprised to hear any negative comments. I have been going to Dr. King for years and I find him and everyone in the eye clinic to be extremely professional, knowledgeable, helpful and nice. Dr. King takes the time to listen and is always willing to discuss any concerns I have. A couple months back Dr. King did my cataract and thoroughly explained everything and all my options to me prior to the surgery.

During the surgery he was extremely calming, talking to me throughout the surgery to insure I was as calm and comfortable as possible. The front desk is always very helpful and willing to try to accommodate an appointment time when needed. I had to visit with Dr. Brito once when Dr. King was full and I needed to be seen fairly quick. I found Dr. Brito to be extremely professional and knowledgeable as well. I would highly recommend this eye clinic.

My Daughter went here for an eye checkup but the Doctor acting so Rude and disrespectful. Never in a million, I recommend this place. Stay away as much as possible to this place.

I explained that we just moved into the area and were looking for eye care for three family members. I had insurance that they said was in network. I have been going to optometrists for over 50 years. NEVER have I ever been so rudely and dismissively treated by any optometry office as I was by WENDY at Geneva Eye Clinic. She made setting up a routine check up like trying to get into the land of Oz!

Who knows what kind of service this place has, never got that far--but any company that trains their receptionist to screen as rudely as "WENDY" is probably not the kind of company you want to waste time calling, as I did.

Dr. Becker is amazing. Worked with me over a period of months to find a solution to my uveitis, which I now no longer have problems with. So thankful to have found such a great doctor. Great facility as well. Everyone is friendly.

Dr. Hawkins is an excellent physician! Very kind and they have the best Dry Eye Clinic. 5 stars for putting people before profits.

Next technicians and good doctors and general good service and a good environment. Been coming here for years.

Find another ophthalmologist who is more efficient and respectful. Wait time to see Dr. Brito was about 2 hours. She spent only 10 minutes evaluating my child and she charged us for a comprehensive initial evaluation. She appeared annoyed when I asked any questions, which didn't happen when my child saw another pediatric ophthalmologist in the Chicagoland area. She lacks empathy and has no respect or patience with parents who bring up questions or concerns.

My wife and I both go to dr Becker never had a problem. Doctors do get busy and emergencies happen. If the staff isn't keeping you informed that's on them and the Doctor should be told. If there is a customer service problem then the Doctors need to address it, as this seems to be a theme in all the complaints.

Had the worst experience. Waited over an hour to be seen after filing out likes of paperwork and finally tracked down a staff member to ask when I'd be seen and they said maybe another 40 minutes and then my exam would be an hour and a half. Are you kidding? I have two small children and I had made arrangements for them to be watched during my appointment but I did not plan for a 2 hour wait before an hour and a half long exam! What a joke! I left without being seen and will take my business elsewhere. What an utter waste of time. I received zero apology. TERRIBLE customer service. 0 stars.

Treats people as numbers not patients any more. I guess it's all about the mighty dollar now a days. Misdiagnosed my brother's detached retina. Odd

I see Dr. King, and I can't say enough about how wonderful I have been treated by the both him and the stadd at this facility. I have had several eye issues stemming from strokes I had a few years ago, as well as diabetes and I have always felt that I was getting top notch care here! I've never had any issues with the staff or billing.

I had high hopes Geneva Eye Clinic could help me with my on-going eye issues, after 7 monthly appointments with no change ( and no treatment plan) they suggested I have a laser procedure.another 5 months passed before they contacted me to say they had found staff to help with the procedure. Ummm.no thank you. If it takes 5 months to find medical staff, that's a problem.

It's always been slow getting in even for a simple eye exam. But today, almost empty waiting room and my son waited almost 2 hours just to get in. If your looking for a new eye doctor, keep looking, and pass this one up.
