Just completed the second post op visit on my second cataract surgery. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The clarity with both my near and distant vision lenses is beyond imagination plus I don't need to contend with reading glasses. Dr. Gans guides you through the process with calm reassuring instructions that make the process comfortable for the patient. I've already recommended him and SureVision to others suffering from cataracts.

I went in because an urgent care told me I had a scratched cornea. Within minutes of seeing Dr Gans he had a completely different diagnosis, explained everything in detail, and prescribed me eyedrops that actually took care of the issue! The waiting periods aren't terrible, the staff is so friendly. I don't think I'll ever go to another eye doc, and that says a lot considering this one isn't super close to home!

Very professional staff. Dr. Gans explained what chronic retinal detachment was and even drew a picture of my affected eye; and expained in detail what needed to be done. On the day of surgery he took the time to talk to me before the procedure and answer any questions. I highly recommend Surevision.

Just called the office to make a new patient appointment. While making the appointment with Dr. Tonya. I had to place the rep on hold I did ask if she could hold for a moment (10 seconds). Returned to the call thanked her and apologized by saying I know you time is valuable my apologies. To be told very rudely. I can not be placed on hold because we have other patients to talk to and yes my time is valuable.
I ignored the rude response and decline to become a new patient. If the medical team allows the staff to treat their new patient with such disgrace and disregard then I do not need not to go there.

I had an excellent experience in the office with all the staff and during the surgery with Dr Gans. He explained everything and was very professional. It was a long wait, but my only complaint was regarding the lady who stuck the needle in the back of my hand so very hard, then wrapped it so tightly that it felt like my hand was going to explode! I have upcoming appointments and I will bring this to their Attention! Everyone else was great!

I went to Surevision in Hazelwood today because my eye has been red for a few days. I wanted to make sure I did not have an infection. At first, the visit was fine. Then as one of the O.D.s, Dr. Ashley Deese, was looking into my eye, she said, "I'm going to put some drops in." Before I knew it, they were in, and when I asked her what kind of drops they were, she said, "Oh, they just help me see the blood vessels better - they won't dilate your eye or anything." OK.
As I was driving home, I started to have major vision problems. When I got home and looked in the mirror, MY EYE WAS DILATED! So this Dr. Deese LIED about the effects of the drops. This is on top of NOT ASKING IF DILATION IS OK FIRST! That is INCREDIBLY unethical! Nothing in their pre-visit paperwork says anything about routine dilation. Even if it did, the doctor should ASK FIRST!
She didn't know how far I had to go home. She didn't even ask me if I am sensitive to dilation drops. BECAUSE I AM! I COULD HAVE TOLD HER THAT HAD SHE ASKED! I could have gotten into an accident on the way home. Lucky for the "doctor" that I did not!

Agree, with Michael T. They did not take my insurance, but charged me $86. Dr. Gans is confusing about treatment. I asked for IOL. They know my history. Waited for a week to get an answer, that i will get an answer soon from Dr. Gans. While i am waiting, i get a call from Dr. Neil, at Lasik plus. Got me a apointment. Very good customer service. Friendly stuff, and Dr. Neil answer all question. Very professional. Totally different to Surevision.
